00:00The United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has appealed once again for climate justice

00:07and emphasized the need for international financial system reforms

00:10so that developing countries can have a stronger voice.

00:14Guterres called on the international community to accept that there must be climate justice even for smaller countries.

00:21That must be climate justice and that countries like Papua New Guinea must have all the support that was promised

00:32in order to be able to address the needs of adaptation to build resilience and to protect its people

00:41and its country against the devastating impacts of climate change.

00:45He also called for reforms on the international financial system in order for developing countries

00:51to have a much stronger voice and a much stronger influence in the way decisions are taken.

00:55The United Nations has in the past few years called upon the international major global countries

01:02to lead reforms in climate justice.
