00:00And I would love your opinion on this marquee game that's set to go off on
00:03Saturday night between Michigan and Oklahoma smart scheduling by those two
00:07teams, taking it easy in the first week.
00:09The line I see right now here currently, correct me if I'm wrong,
00:12Oklahoma minus five and a half total of 45 and a half.
00:16It's the 15th ranked team versus the 18th ranked team going into the season.
00:22So, you know, obviously things change with teams and, you know,
00:26quite the pressure I think on both teams are on more.
00:29I know the head coach is going to coach in this game,
00:31despite everything that happened in the off season.
00:33How do you foresee this matchup going on Saturday night?
00:37Yeah, mostly, mostly fives out there right now, some five and a half,
00:40so probably pretty well split, I should say on the line.
00:43But, you know, first of all, Oklahoma is going to be better this year.
00:46No question about it.
00:48But a decisive, the question is how much better will the Sooners be?
00:52A decisive 35 to three win over FCS Illinois State this past weekend
00:58doesn't really tell us much, Craig, in my opinion.
01:01You know, this is an Illinois State team that prior to scoring three points
01:06this past Saturday against Oklahoma had been shut out in its previous three games
01:12versus FBS opposition, and that includes a 40-0 loss to Iowa last year.
01:19Iowa, offensively challenged Iowa, had almost 500 yards against Illinois State last year.
01:26So just kind of putting that 35 to three victory in perspective there.
01:30Michigan, on the other hand, they're very good as an away underdog,
01:34kind of a small sample size, but they're four and one against the spread since 2020
01:39as an away underdog.
01:41They've won three of those games outright, including two in Columbus versus Ohio State.
01:47Michigan, pretty fairly lackluster 34-17 victory over New Mexico.
01:59They led by 14 at the half, did the Wolverines.
02:02Never really pressured.
02:04You know, they were always in control.
02:06They did rush for over 200 yards, pass for over 200 yards.
02:10Bryce Underwood, their five-star true freshman quarterback,
02:12gave glimpses of why every blue-blood program in the country recruited him,
02:18and he'll look, you know, he'll progress as the year goes on.
02:21This line, looking at the line of five and a half,
02:25infers that on a neutral field, Oklahoma will be favored by two points over Michigan,
02:31and I just don't see that.
02:32I've got Michigan slightly pirated ahead of Oklahoma.
02:36I actually made this line Oklahoma minus two and a half,
02:40so I think this is a pretty good bit of points to be given the Wolverines here.
02:46One other tidbit, when the line's seven points or fewer,
02:51whether Oklahoma's been the favorite or the underdog, a line of seven or less.
02:55Brent Venables, only three and ten against the spread at Oklahoma,
03:00and also Oklahoma's quarterback, John Mateer,
03:03really burst on the scene last year at Washington State,
03:06but he's never played a defense the caliber of Michigan.
03:09I think he's going to be in, you know, he's stepping up in class.
03:12He's going to make some plays because he's a great player,
03:14but this is a different level of animal that he's going up against on Saturday.
03:19I like Michigan plus five and a half over the Sooners.
03:22Wait, Ra!
03:22I like Michigan.
03:22I like Michigan.
03:23I like Michigan.
03:25I like Michigan twice.
03:25I like Michigan plus six and a half over the Sooners.
03:28I like Michigan.
03:29I like Michigan.
03:30I like Michigan.
03:31I like Michigan.
03:32You're an insignificant man.
03:35tiếp nonstop city.
03:36There's a lot of new hymne.
03:39You're an Argentine campus.
03:40You're an inverses.
03:41You put higher than than the urge.
03:43You're an enslaved lion's appreciate trip,
03:46so I like Michigan and I like Michigan.
03:48And I like Michigan and I like Michigan.
