00:28Are they going to be really unhappy this weekend?

00:31Do you think Texas goes in there and beats them?

00:33Well, put it this way, Scott.

00:35Listen, Michigan had been the most disrespected defending national champion since the Auburn

00:41Tigers, who lost Cam Newton, point blank, right?

00:43They're the lowest ranked team coming off a championship since the Auburn Tigers team in

00:48like 2011, I believe it was, that lost Cam Newton.

00:53So whatever Michigan does, people are waiting for them to fail.

00:57I think, Scott, basically you could judge a team's performance, quite frankly, by the

01:02point spread, right?

01:03What were they supposed to win by?

01:05Well, the point spread for the Michigan and Fresno State game was 21 points.

01:10They won by 20.

01:11They won by two.

01:13They won by six.

01:14They won by 20.

01:15Was it pretty?

01:16No.

01:16But I think a lot of games for Michigan, they're not going to be pretty.

01:21You know, was it a great game for them?

01:23No.

01:23But at the same point in time, whatever, you only play 12 games.

01:26It doesn't matter.

01:27They won the championship last year and had some scares along the way as well, right?

01:31So, you know, style points don't really matter as much as people think at college football.

01:35You win your games, you get in.

01:37It's as simple as that.

01:38Are they going to have to be better against Texas?

01:40Yes.

01:41But let me put it this way, Scott.

01:43Fresno State are a lot better than Colorado State are.

01:47Like Fresno State are a good football team.

01:49Yeah, they lost Jeff Tedford, their head coach, but this is a real team.

01:53Like if Michigan would have played a Mac team like Ohio State did in Akron, whatever, bro,

01:58would have been 45-10 or something.

02:03You know, oh, Mississippi beat Furman, Pharrell, 76-0.

02:26And let's not pretend that they didn't hold back a little bit last week against Fresno.

02:30And I'm not saying, oh, you know, we could do whatever we want to win this football game.

02:34But at the same point in time, there's a lot of plays that they're going to run against Texas

02:39that they didn't run against Fresno State.

02:42They're going to loosen things up a little bit here.

02:44And I think they'll, you know, last week was a meat and potatoes.

02:48Think about it, guys, too.

02:49You're the defending national champions.

02:51You basically lost like, you know, nine starters on the offensive side of the football.

02:59It's the first game.

03:27He's going to have to be better.

03:28He got burnt a couple of times against Fresno.

03:31He made some plays, but, you know, him and Mason Graham.

03:34Mason Graham's got to blow up the pocket.

03:36Will Johnson's going to have to contain his passing attack.

03:39But I'm looking for Donovan Edwards to have some success on the ground, Scott.

03:43I think it's going to be a close football game.

03:44And put it this way, I wouldn't want to be laying seven points with either team in this game.
