00:00Some Italian mobsters capture an elderly man who seems to have wandered into the wrong place.
00:06However, his captors look terrified, because behind him, this man left a trail of death and chaos,
00:15making it clear that being caught was only part of his bloody crusade for justice.
00:21We find ourselves in the beautiful vineyards of Sicily,
00:24where an old man and his young grandson are taking a walk, though not exactly for fun.
00:30This is Lorenzo Vitale, one of the most dangerous mobsters in Italy, who is heading to one of his isolated villas.
00:37On the way, they see a pile of corpses and the remains of an assault that could only have been carried out by a squad of expert hitmen.
00:45Although his men have already captured the threat, Lorenzo takes his gun and tells his grandson to stay in the car.
00:51After that, he enters the winery, where he finds more victims of the brutal enforcers,
00:56including some with their faces torn apart or burned.
01:00Following the trail of death, he finally goes deeper into the winery,
01:04where his men have the ones responsible for the massacre at gunpoint, or rather, the one responsible,
01:11Robert McCall, who ever since he took down the Russian mafia and the corrupt DEA agents,
01:17has continued his crusade for justice around the world, which has now brought him to the Vitale mafia.
01:22It seems this will be his end, although with great calm, he wipes the blood from his hands
01:28and states that none of this would have happened if they had just let him in politely.
01:32Then, Lorenzo asks him the reason for his actions,
01:36to which the man replies that he took something that didn't belong to him, and he has come to take it back.
01:42At the end of his villainous speech, Lorenzo laments that he went through so much trouble only to end this way,
01:48to which the vigilante responds that the man to his left is too close to him,
01:52which means that the man to his right is already doomed and doesn't know it yet.
01:57To spare them that demonstration, he gives the mobster nine seconds to hand over what he's looking for.
02:03Robert stands up from the chair and uses the revolver of the thug to his left to shoot the others.
02:09After that, he drives the weapon into the eye of a criminal,
02:12and from that awkward angle, he shoots Lorenzo.
02:14The latter tries to crawl away in desperation, only for Robert to punish him with a shotgun blast.
02:21With no other choice, Lorenzo accepts his fate and looks directly at his executioner,
02:26who lives up to his nickname.
02:28After that, he takes the keys from the deceased and leaves the winery with a bag.
02:33There, he finds Lorenzo's grandson still in the car.
02:36Out of pure reflex, the protagonist points his weapon at him,
02:40but upon realizing he's just a child, decides to lower his guard.
02:44Big mistake, because as soon as he turns around, the boy shoots him with a rifle.
02:50Although the man manages to scare him off, the damage has already been done,
02:54as he has been gravely wounded in the back.

03:07Thank you very much in advance.
03:10Let's continue.
03:11So, he collapses to the ground, unable to believe that a child has just sentenced him.
03:16As it is only a matter of time before Lorenzo's reinforcements arrive,
03:21he has no choice but to self-eliminate, even though he had run out of bullets.
03:26Taking it as a sign, he takes the ferry back to the mainland,
03:30where he tries to drive to his hideout, but on the way, begins to go into shock from his wound.
03:35Fortunately, he is found by Joe Benucci, a local carabineer who takes him to the costa city of Altamonte,
03:43where he receives medical treatment from Enzo, a local doctor with decades of experience.
03:48It is thanks to him that Robert remains in the land of the living.
03:52But due to the bullet he found in the child, Enzo asks him if he saved a good man or a bad man.
03:59The protagonist himself replies that he still doesn't know and insists on going back home,
04:05so the old man urges him to stay on his stretcher.
04:09At dawn, the protagonist wakes up in better condition
04:12and officially introduces himself as Robert to his savior.
04:16Later on, Robert is able to leave the house with the help of a cane,
04:20and since the doctor will not let him leave so soon,
04:23he decides to take a walk around town to get to know it.
04:26Being very careful with the security cameras, he sits in a cafe to taste the local tea.
04:32Just as he is a machine killer, he is also a lover of cafe environments,
04:37regardless of the country he is in.
04:39However, they only serve him coffee, as tea is exclusively for the elderly and the English.
04:46He takes it with humor and then approaches Benucci, who introduces him to his daughter.
04:51Once the little girl is attended to by the raiders,
04:53the officer questions the mysterious foreigner,
04:56who claims that the reason for his wound was a fall.
04:59Unless he fell directly onto a bullet, it is not a very reliable testimony.
05:04Although he doesn't want to know the truth,
05:07Benucci makes it clear that Dr. Enzo is very beloved in the village,
05:11so he'd better not put him at risk.
05:13That said, he hands them the keys to his car and tells him he didn't check his suitcases.
05:18Back at home, the protagonist makes an anonymous call to CIA agent Emma Collins
05:24to inform her about the role of Lorenzo's villa in the illegal drug trade,
05:29which was disguised as normal business transactions in Sicily.
05:33Once he finishes his explanation, the man destroys the phone.
05:37The next day, Robert goes back out into the streets,
05:40but this time without his characteristic watch.
05:42Due to his wound, which forces him to use a cane,
05:46he cannot time each of his actions precisely.
05:49Now, he is slow and gets tired very quickly,
05:52to the point that he cannot climb a full flight of stairs.
05:56At night, he has trouble falling asleep,
05:59not only because of the discomfort in his back,
06:01but because the memories of the massacre in Sicily are tormenting him.
06:06Changing the scene, we see him in a restaurant enjoying the local cuisine,
06:11when something disturbs his peace.
06:14It is a young boy who, sent by a gang of suspicious men,
06:18receives an envelope of money from the restaurant owner.
06:22Beyond that, Robert returns to the cafe from before,
06:26where the owner, who had refused to give him tea,
06:29now fulfills his request and introduces herself as Amina.
06:33In the following days, the man enjoys the simple routine of Altamonte and its citizens,
06:39which has brought him true peace in his life for the first time in a long while.
06:45However, on one occasion, he passes in front of Angelo's fish shop,
06:49surrounded by the same suspicious men as before.
06:53Inside, Marco Carrante, a high-ranking member of their gang,
06:57is beating Angelo to force him to pay a certain fee
07:01that all local business owners must hand over.
07:03Once the mobsters leave, they warn the fishmonger that he has one week to settle his debts.
07:10This reaches Robert's ears, who watches them like a hunter watches his future prey.
07:16Then, the criminals return to their headquarters in Naples,
07:20revealing themselves as the Camorra,
07:22one of the oldest and most dangerous mafias in Italy.
07:25At that moment, one of its members is negotiating with the owners of a building
07:30to acquire it and build a luxurious hotel.
07:34However, the owners refuse to close the deal,
07:37as it would leave many people homeless.
07:40Consequently, the mobster throws a crippled old man,
07:44who is under the owner's care, out the window.
07:47Marco and his older brother Vincent, the leader of the organization,
07:51witness the matter,
07:52while their henchmen continue evicting civilians from their homes.
07:57Taking the opportunity,
07:58the young boy asks for a chance to take care of that kind of task,
08:02although his brother prefers him in Altamonte,
08:05assuring him that in the future, he will have great projects for him.
08:10On the other hand,
08:11the CIA launches an operation led by Emma and Agent Frank in the Sicilian Villa,
08:17where they find millions of dollars in cash,
08:19along with bags full of phenethylene tablets hidden in a warehouse,
08:24confirming the anonymous citizens' information.
08:27The only thing they have no answer for
08:29is the row of corpses and the remains of a bloody battle
08:33in which the only clear suspect
08:35is the mysterious informant who called them.
08:37Back in Altamonte,
08:39the relationship between Robert and Enzo grows over time,
08:43resembling that of a father and his son.
08:46So, during one of the checkups for his wound,
08:48the protagonist asks him
08:49why he took him into his home and cared for him so much,
08:53if he was a complete stranger.
08:55In response,
08:56the old man reminds him of the question he asked on the first day,
09:00about whether he was a good man or a bad one.
09:03Robert replied that he didn't know,
09:05to which Enzo states that only a good man would say that.
09:09Not far away,
09:10Vincent is seen praying in the church,
09:13although it is only a facade to meet with his brother Marco,
09:16and reveal to him that he already has important matters for him.
09:20He must pressure the people of Altamonte,
09:23since this town is vital to his plans.
09:25For his part,
09:26the protagonist is fully recovered
09:28and prepares to say goodbye to the town that has won his heart.
09:31However,
09:33as soon as he steps out into the street,
09:35he discovers that Angelo's fish shop is engulfed in flames.
09:39Although there was no one inside,
09:41the owner and his wife cried inconsolably,
09:44as it was their main livelihood.
09:46Amid the sea of terrified people,
09:48Robert sees Marco's gang in the distance,
09:51admiring their handiwork.
09:53When the neighbors manage to extinguish the flames,
09:55the protagonist helps gather the remains of the fish shop.
09:58Meanwhile,
10:00at the police station,
10:01Bonuchin specs the security cameras,
10:03where he finds her recording from the previous night,
10:05showing some gang members starting a fire in the fish shop,
10:08and fleeing in a van.
10:10Therefore,
10:11he requests the details of the owner of that vehicle,
10:14to track down those responsible.
10:16Back with Robert,
10:17we see him at the usual cafe,
10:19where Amina asks him about American cuisine,
10:22which is far from impressing her.
10:23Because of this,
10:25she invites him to show her the authentic food of Altamont,
10:28an offer he ponders for a few seconds,
10:30since he hadn't planned to stay in the town any longer.
10:34However,
10:34the woman's smile is so charming,
10:36that he ends up accepting.
10:38Then,
10:39he goes to the local fair filled with delicious Italian food.
10:43In the following days,
10:44the protagonist falls even more in love with Altamont and its people.
10:48From Angelo and his wife,
10:50rebuilding their fish shop from the ashes,
10:52to an old lady who gives him a lemon to improve his tea.
10:55Everything in this small corner of the world,
10:58brings him the greatest happiness.
11:00Even better,
11:01the locals already consider him one of their own.
11:04That convinces him to stay for a while longer,
11:07until one day at the cafe,
11:09he recognizes Emma among the customers.
11:11With a sarcastic tone,
11:14he turns toward her,
11:15so she can get a clear shot of the mysterious informant.
11:19Far from feeling exposed,
11:21the man calmly sips his tea,
11:24as if nothing were happening,
11:26claiming he's just an anonymous citizen,
11:28who reported a drug operation.
11:31Coincidentally,
11:32on that very occasion,
11:34he just happened to be passing through the vineyards of Sicily.
11:38Of course,
11:39Emma doesn't believe a single word of it,
11:41although she doesn't have enough evidence to arrest him.
11:45Seeing how unfazed he is,
11:47she asks if he isn't even curious to know how she found him.
11:52He then deduces, on his own,
11:54that she checked the villa's security cameras,
11:57found his car's license plate,
11:59and then took the same ferry,
12:01following his trail.
12:02In fact,
12:04it wasn't that hard,
12:05but it's not the kind of deduction an average citizen could make.
12:10Not far away,
12:11Bonucci stops by the school to pick up his daughter,
12:14when he gets an anonymous call from someone claiming to have kidnapped her.
12:18He immediately asks a teacher about it,
12:22who reveals that one of his agents took Gabby a while ago.
12:26Frightened,
12:26the officer runs back home,
12:28where he finds Marco holding his wife and daughter at gunpoint.
12:33Before Bonucci can do anything,
12:35one of the thugs attacks him from behind,
12:38and Marco keeps kicking him on the ground,
12:40saying he should never have investigated the suspicious van from the fire.
12:45Although the criminals eventually leave the house,
12:48they make it clear to the carabinieri
12:51that if he keeps investigating them,
12:53next time they'll kill his family.
12:57Shortly after,
12:58Robert witnesses a badly injured Bonucci leaving Enzo's office.
13:03When he asks the old man about it,
13:05he replies that the officer simply had a fall.
13:08Joking aside,
13:09he reveals that the Camorra is plaguing the town,
13:13just as they have done for decades all over Italy.
13:16They're like a cancer that won't stop spreading.
13:19And just like cancer,
13:21there's no possible cure.
13:23After jogging up the church steps,
13:25the protagonist meets Emma,
13:27who reveals that the CIA has no information on him whatsoever.
13:32Legally, he's a complete ghost.
13:34But what makes her most suspicious
13:36is why he called her in the first place.
13:39In response,
13:40the ghost suggests she stay focused on the case connected to Lorenzo's mafia,
13:46and once she solves it,
13:48he'll tell her why he chose her.
13:51Meanwhile,
13:52Marco interrupts a dinner between Bonucci and his family
13:55to demand that he prepare him a boat.
13:58The rest of the diners watch with fear in their eyes,
14:01except for Robert,
14:02so Marco sits at his table
14:05and tells him,
14:06it's bad manners to stick your nose where it doesn't belong.
14:10In his defense,
14:11the protagonist claims that he is trying to avoid it,
14:14but the other man is asking for it.
14:17Continuing with his argument,
14:18he points out that the most important things in life
14:21are obtained at the right time.
14:23Three weeks ago,
14:24they wouldn't be having this conversation,
14:26but he fell in love with Altamonte
14:28to the point that he plans to live there for the rest of his life.
14:31So Marco and his men had better get as far away as possible.
14:36As expected,
14:37the young man mocks the threats of an older man
14:40who puts him in a painful hold to make his point even clearer.
14:44In that uncomfortable position,
14:46Marco is forced to pull back his henchmen
14:48so that his aggressor doesn't escalate the pain.
14:51Once that's done,
14:52he lays his gun on the table,
14:54after which he is allowed to leave.
14:56Meanwhile,
14:57the onlookers stare open mouth at the brave foreigner,
15:00especially Bonucci.
15:02As soon as he regroups with his men,
15:04Marco prepares them to kill the man who humiliated him,
15:07regardless of the fact that Vincent has other orders for them.
15:11Suddenly,
15:11a van rams one of the thugs,
15:13and Marco soon discovers that the driver,
15:16one of his own,
15:17is also dead.
15:18Like a ghost,
15:19Robert appears out of nowhere
15:20and smashes a wine bottle over the head of an enemy,
15:24leaving Marco as the only one still standing.
15:26He lunges at him with a knife,
15:29to which the vigilante responds by breaking his arm
15:31and stabbing him multiple times with his own weapon
15:34until his eyes go dark.
15:37Later,
15:37the police arrive at the crime scene
15:39and,
15:40beyond the brutal murders,
15:41are surprised to find packages of phenethylene in the van.
15:45Meanwhile,
15:46Emma learns about a jihadist terrorist attack in the heart of Rome,
15:50so her partner Frank asserts that the money from the phenethylene trafficking
15:53is funding those acts.
15:55In response,
15:56the agent indicates that the traffickers are using the port of Naples to import that drug,
16:01so she deduces that if they harass the street dealers,
16:04they will spill the beans about their bosses.
16:07This leads them to the police chief of Naples, Varela,
16:10to whom she hands the files of some suspects she wants to interrogate.
16:14Among them,
16:15the officer gets rid of one file,
16:17as they cannot talk to that man.
16:19Even so,
16:20Emma pulls the right strings to interrogate that criminal
16:22and extract information about the drug trafficking.
16:26Thanks to that,
16:27a CIA squad storms a traffickers' hideout,
16:30taking out those who tried to fight back
16:32and arresting the rest.
16:34Changing the scene,
16:35we see Vincent at his brother Marco's funeral,
16:37although that is no excuse to set business aside.
16:40So he summons the chief of police of Naples,
16:43who warns him that the CIA is looking for a terrorist cell
16:47that is selling its drugs in Europe.
16:49They still don't know that the Kimura is buying and distributing the product,
16:53so Vincent must be stopped as soon as possible.
16:57Not only for Emma,
16:58but because they are funding attacks
17:00that are taking the lives of their own Italian brothers.
17:04That is Varela's recommendation,
17:05but far from listening to him,
17:08Vincent reminds him that his place
17:10is to follow orders without questioning them.
17:13Defiant,
17:14the officer points out that he represents authority,
17:17while the mobster is just a barbarian,
17:20something that costs him dearly
17:22because the thugs cut off his hand.
17:25If he doesn't want to lose the other one,
17:27he'd better find Marco's killer.
17:29Back with the protagonist,
17:31he receives a package of drugs from Bonucci,
17:33which makes him realize the seriousness of the matter.
17:37Immediately,
17:38he calls Emma to reveal
17:40that it is not a terrorist group distributing the product,
17:43but the Kimura,
17:44so she must be careful.
17:46After that,
17:47she heads to her car,
17:48which explodes into the air
17:50and unleashes chaos in Rome.
17:53Although the agent was hit by the blast wave,
17:55at least she didn't get into the car
17:57thanks to Robert's warning.
17:59In the hospital,
18:00before the doctors operate on her,
18:02she tells Frank that the culprits belong to the Kimura.
18:06Instead of hiding,
18:08Vincent goes to Altamonte
18:09to threaten to kill Bonucci in front of everyone
18:12if his brother's killer is not revealed.
18:15Since no one responds,
18:17he shoots the officer in the ear,
18:19but before aiming at his head,
18:21Robert shouts to the mobsters from an alley,
18:23confessing that he killed Marco
18:25because he didn't heed his warning.
18:28Recognizing his American accent,
18:29Vincent remarks that he is far from home,
18:32to which he replies
18:34that he is exactly where he should be.
18:37With that said,
18:38he emerges from the darkness with a pair of pistols,
18:41although he ends up throwing them to the ground,
18:44as he prefers to be killed now
18:46if in exchange they leave the locals alone.
18:49Just before the mob leader could pull the trigger,
18:52Enzo fires into the air to take him by surprise,
18:55while Angelo and the rest of the neighbors record the criminals,
18:59leaving them with no choice but to retreat.
19:03Still,
19:03Vincent promises he will return to unleash a war in that town,
19:07so Robert promises he will be waiting.
19:10Even though they don't know the Americans passed,
19:13Vincent tells his henchmen
19:14that they will finish him off tomorrow.
19:17At night,
19:18while the mob boss sleeps peacefully in his mansion,
19:20one of his guards notices that the alarm of his sports car has gone off.
19:25When he gets close enough,
19:27a figure emerges from the garden and stabs him to death.
19:31It's about Robert,
19:32and he doesn't plan to let them retaliate against Altamonte.
19:36Seconds later,
19:37the thugs inside the mansion are surprised by a sudden power outage.
19:42Full of intrigue,
19:43one of them looks out from the balcony,
19:45only for the vigilante to blow his head off along with his companions.
19:49Later on,
19:50another guard is trying to spot the attacker's movements,
19:54who,
19:54like Batman,
19:55appears right behind him and pierces his neck with a tool.
19:59At that moment,
20:01Vincent wakes up due to a strange dripping coming from the upper window,
20:05but they are not drops of water,
20:07they are drops of blood.
20:09Immediately,
20:10he gets out of bed just before the glass shatters from one of his murdered thugs.
20:15Frightened,
20:15the mobster grabs a weapon and calls for reinforcements,
20:19although as he moves through his mansion,
20:22he finds the corpses of his allies murdered in brutal ways.
20:26Out of sheer fear,
20:28he starts shooting around him,
20:29only for Robert to hit him from behind
20:31and force him to take a bunch of phenylthiethymine pills.
20:35When he wakes up,
20:37tied to his bed,
20:38the vigilante frees him to watch him die slowly from the overdose.
20:41He even allows him to leave the property and wander the streets
20:46until a car runs him over.
20:48Drugged,
20:49badly injured,
20:50and completely defeated,
20:52Vincent finally collapses in an alley to reunite with his brother in hell.
20:57Meanwhile,
20:58at the hospital,
