In 500 CE, Hrothgar, king of Denmark, and a group of warriors chase a large and burly man, whom they consider a troll, and his young son, who already bears cheek and chin whiskers, to the edge of a steep seaside cliff.
00:00Some fighters will wound a Colossus, so his descendant will set out in search of revenge and will stalk them one after another until he finishes each one of them.
00:09The story begins with a Colossus playing with his little one on a plane, when suddenly they see a troop of armed Nordics approaching.
00:18The Titan hides his son and tries to scare off the invaders by growing at them.
00:23However, they are not intimidated and shoot several arrows into his chest, causing him to lose balance and fall off a cliff.
00:31The leader of the host removes his helmet and approaches the edge of the ravine.
00:35It is then that he discovers the descendant of the giant, but noticing that he is still very young, he decides not to harm him, turns around, and orders his men that it is time to retreat.
00:46The son of the Colossus goes down to the coast to try to move his father's body to a covered place, so that the crows do not devour him.
00:55However, being too heavy, he takes a sword and cuts him into pieces, carrying him part by part to a cave.
01:02Several years later, that group of Vikings celebrates a ceremony to inaugurate a new tavern, and meanwhile we see that the son of the giant has already grown.
01:13He is now a mature man, ready to take revenge on the Nordics.
01:16At nightfall, a group of them gathers in the tavern to have fun.
01:21Some sentinels guard the surroundings, when suddenly, the Colossus tears them apart with a single blow, and then bursts into the tavern, determined to finish off as many as he can.
01:32The next morning, the clan chief learns what has happened, so he goes to the tavern looking for survivors, but finds all his warriors slain.
01:42Here appears Beowulf, the leader of another company of Nordics, recognized for their skill in combat.
01:49They head towards Denmark, where the giant and the other group of Vikings are located.
01:54At nightfall, the leader, named Rodgar, and a soldier went to the meadow in search of the Colossus.
01:59While the soldier is distracted, the giant appears from behind and strikes him on the head.
02:06Rodgar runs towards him to wound him with the sword, but the titan quickly flees.
02:11At dawn, Rodgar's wife goes to the plane to warn him that the village is running out of men, in addition to the fact that the widows of the fallen warriors are immersed in sadness.
02:22Before leaving, she holds him responsible for everything that is happening.
02:26The woman goes to consult a lady named Salma, who lives on the outskirts of the village, since according to rumors, she can foresee death before it arrives.
02:36The lady asks her if her husband will perish in the same way as the others, to which Salma replies that no, that the Colossus will not be to blame.
02:45She then asks her not to seek her again, since both she and the others banished her from the village for being considered a witch.

03:00Some time later, Beowulf and his warriors arrive at Rodgar's lands, where a guard receives them and leads them to the village to meet the chieftain.
03:09Rodgar is very pleased to see Beowulf, and tells him that the last time he saw him, he was still a child, and now he is glad to know that he has become a very renowned fighter.
03:20To celebrate his arrival, Rodgar organizes a banquet at the inn.
03:24Beowulf asks him why there are so many widows, to which Rodgar replies that it is because of a Colossus who in recent nights has killed several of his men.
03:34Beowulf is saddened by that situation, and assures him that he and his troop will remain in the village until they manage to hunt down the monster.
03:43Since they know it will attack the inn again, Rodgar sends all his soldiers to their homes for safety, leaving Beowulf and his warriors to stand guard.
03:51After a few hours, the giant appears in front of the inn, so everyone prepares to attack him, but upon realizing that they are outsiders, he does not enter, and only urinates at the entrance.
04:04The next day, Beowulf informs Rodgar that the Colossus did show up, but only went to mark his territory with urine.
04:11Then, Beowulf and his men head into the plain to track him.
04:15After several hours, they failed to find him, so the chief goes to speak with Selma to ask her if many Vikings will fail in the battle against the giant.
04:24She replies that yes, although in the end, they will manage to defeat him.
04:29Beowulf notices that Selma does not care much about the matter, so he asks her if she does not feel concerned for her people.
04:36She replies that no, since they expelled her when she was still a child.
04:39Before he could add anything else, some soldiers informed him that they must return to the village before nightfall.
04:47Once there, Beowulf asks Rodgar why the Colossus only attacks the men of his clan.
04:53It is evident that there is a personal reason.
04:55Rodgar then reveals that 20 years ago, they killed a giant and let his son escape, and since that day, they never saw him again.
05:04At nightfall, the warriors return to the inn and remain waiting for the monster.
05:09When they hear his footsteps, they run to catch him, but the giant is faster than they are and manages to flee once more.
05:17The next morning, Beowulf visits Selma to ask her in what way they could kill the Colossus,
05:22but she asks him why he simply does not return to his home with his men, since the fury of the giant is not against them.
05:30However, the leader replies that he cannot leave without first making sure that the others are protected.
05:35Selma leads them to her home to cast some bones capable of predicting the future, but at that very moment, the chief hears the Colossus,
05:44so he leaves the house to look for him, although once again he manages to slip away.
05:49Beowulf follows him to a mountain range, so the giant takes refuge at the summit.
05:54Selma goes after them, and when the leader asks her why she is evading him, Selma speaks the giant's language,
06:00so she explains to Beowulf that the Colossus has no problem with him or his people, since he has never harmed them, and that is why he has never attacked them.
06:10The chieftain is astonished by that answer, so he leaves the giant alone and questions Selma about why she does not want to reveal the way to get rid of him.
06:19She replies that every night, Rodgar's warriors used to look for her to mistreat her, but since the Colossus appeared, none of them hurt her again,
06:28and for that reason she will not tell him how to wound him.
06:31Furthermore, she reminds him that he has already suffered enough.
06:35When Beowulf returns to the village, he tells Rodgar what the giant expressed.
06:40Rodgar seems somewhat uneasy and tells him that later he will reveal something important.
06:44At that moment, a young man appears, claiming that he knows where the Colossus' lair is, and that he could guide them to eliminate him.
06:53Upon hearing this, Beowulf boards a boat with his companions, and they head to the cave where the giant dwells.
06:59The problem is that they arrive from the top of the mountain, which means it will be very difficult to descend.
07:05One of the soldiers tries to do it, but his foot slips and he almost falls into the abyss.
07:10Since they cannot advance, they decide to urinate at the entrance.
07:15However, the giant is irritated by what they did, so he chases them to the lake and tries to take those who offended him,
07:21but he fails because Beowulf strikes him with a stick to push him away.
07:26The next day, they return to the cave, but this time from the bottom.
07:30Upon entering, they find a large amount of waste and the skeleton of his father.
07:35One of the warriors with great disrespect breaks the remains of the giant's father.
07:39When they leave, the giant arrives and breaks into tears upon seeing what they did to his father.
07:46Filled with fury, he decides that the time has come to take revenge.
07:50As night falls, the warriors wait for him at the inn, assuming they will be able to defeat him.
07:55But when the Colossus appears, he begins eliminating anyone who stands in his path,
07:59including the soldier who destroyed the remains of his father and the others who led them to his hiding place.
08:05Beowulf tries to stop him, but he is no match for him.
08:08The titan shakes him and throws him from one side to the other.
08:12However, in the middle of the fight, his hand gets caught in an iron chain, unbreakable,
08:17so other soldiers try to kill him, taking advantage of his defenselessness.
08:21Although it proves difficult as he resists, using his legs, he leaves them stunned.
08:26With no other alternatives, the giant severs his hand and flees toward the cave,
08:30but due to the massive loss of blood, he ends up perishing in the ocean.
08:34And at that moment, we see an invisible force dragging him into the depths.
08:39Meanwhile, the Vikings celebrate, believing they have managed to defeat the monster,
08:43even placing his hand at the entrance of the inn as if it were a trophy.
08:47Beowulf feels deeply guilty for what happened, so he begs Rodger to reveal the truth about the Colossus.
08:52He confesses that they murdered the giant's father for no reason,
08:56and upon hearing this, the chieftain responds that at least the titan was honorable,
09:00for he never harmed the innocent, unlike them, who injured a being that had done them no harm.
09:06Rodger feels deeply ashamed of the situation and says no more.
09:10Later, Beowulf visits Selma to tell her what happened to the giant,
09:13and it is at that moment that she admits they had an intimate encounter with him on one occasion,
09:18but after that, they never repeated it.
09:21When darkness falls, the progenitor of the Colossi emerges from the ocean
09:25and advances directly toward the village with the intention of exterminating the Nordics once and for all.
09:32After disposing of the warriors in the tavern, she takes her offspring's hand and returns to the sea.
09:38Meanwhile, Beowulf and Selma share a moment of intimacy.
09:42After what happened, the survivors of the village gather with the purpose of tracking the Colossus,
09:47as they suspect that somehow it managed to stay alive.
09:51Beowulf joins them, and they all march toward the cave, which, along the way, begins to flood.
09:57The chieftain decides to enter alone, as he does not want to expose his companions.
10:03Upon finding the giant's corpse, he approaches to confirm whether it has truly perished,
10:07but at that very moment, the mother of the Colossi emerges from the waters and lunges at him to strangle him.
10:13However, the warrior grabs a rock and strikes her forcefully on the head.
10:19Simultaneously, a boy appears, who turns out to be Selma's and the Colossus' son.
10:24The child does not intend to harm him, so he leaves the cavern and informs Rodgrat that both giants are dead.
10:30After so many battles, Beowulf erects graves in honor of the fallen.
10:36Before leaving, he approaches her and warns that no one must discover that her son carries giant blood,
10:41otherwise they would destroy both of them.
10:44She, in response, smiles and promises to keep that secret.
10:48Finally, the hero departs with all his men toward his home.
