Everything Charleston's culinary scene has to offer, all under one roof. 😋 The Grand Tasting at the Food & Wine Classic is a celebration of Southern flavor, featuring curated bites from the city’s top chefs and beloved local spots. While the wine and spirits pour in from around the world, the food tells a distinctly Lowcountry story.

00:00Rating everything I ate in Charleston.
00:02My first stop was Rodney Scott's Whole Hog Barbecue,
00:04where I tried their ribs, half chicken,
00:06and of course their famous whole hog barbecue
00:08with their signature sauces.
00:1010 out of 10, a must try when you're in the holy city,
00:12and don't forget to try the mac and cheese too.
00:14I stopped at Cali's Hot Little Biscuit for breakfast
00:16to try out their handmade biscuits,
00:17and they did not disappoint.
00:18The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit was a solid 8 out of 10,
00:21but that pimento cheese biscuit was an 11 out of 10,
00:23and I can't wait to come back to order it again.
00:25The city is known for oysters,
00:26so I wanted to get them straight from the source.
00:28Low Country Oyster Company harvest their briny east coast oysters
00:31just an hour away from downtown Charleston,
00:33and on my visit to the farm,
00:34I learned how they grow millions of oysters a year,
00:36and of course, tried plenty.
00:3710 out of 10 experience if you're an oyster lover like me.
00:40You can't come to Charleston without trying some fried seafood,
00:42so I went to Leon's to get the shrimp fry up
00:44and the crispy fried oyster roll.
00:46Both fantastic, a 9 out of 10 for me.
00:48Finally, I checked out Peninsula Grill's iconic coconut cake.
00:51This cake is total perfection, a true 10 out of 10,
00:53and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting
00:55who loves a sweet treat.
