00:05The Precious Blood of Jesus is not only a fountain of mercy and healing, it is also our shield.
00:11In the battle for souls, temptation often strikes when we least expect it, and often where we are weakest.
00:19But the blood of Christ is powerful spiritual armor.
00:22When invoked with faith, it becomes a real and present protection against sin, despair, and the lies of the enemy.
00:30Each time we are tempted, we stand at a fork in the road.
00:34Do we lean on our own strength, or call upon the one who has already triumphed?
00:39The blood of Jesus, shed during his agony in the garden, his scourging, and his crucifixion, was a battle fought on our behalf.
00:48He bore the full weight of temptation and conquered it through perfect love.
00:53When we invoke his blood, we place ourselves inside that victory.
00:57Temptation is not sin, but entertaining it, excusing it, or becoming numb to it, can lead us far from grace.
01:08The blood of Christ awakens the soul.
01:11It sharpens our conscience, renews our desire for holiness, and reminds us that we were bought at a great price.
01:18St. Dominic, known for his clarity of mind and purity of heart, trusted in the spiritual power of the blood and of the rosary, which he preached with fervor.

01:45Like him, we must never rely on reason alone to resist evil.
01:50We must cling to the cross and cover our minds, senses, and desires with the precious blood.
