00:00This is the dashcam footage of rookie Delaware State Police Trooper Hassan Hollis.
00:14Hassan was stationed on a highway onramp right next to a stalled vehicle waiting for a tow
00:18truck to arrive when he spotted a red Buick Regal.
00:22Only minutes before, a radio call had gone out for all officers in the area to be on
00:26the lookout for a vehicle that matched that very description as it was linked to a possible
00:29kidnapping.
00:31Hassan quickly ditched the stalled vehicle and began chasing it down the highway.
00:43After a few moments he caught up to it and got right behind it.
00:46The license plate matched up.
00:48Hassan then radioed for backup and began pulling the vehicle over using extreme caution.
00:52Inside the vehicle was 35-year-old Lewis
01:22Coleman.
01:23When asked if anyone else was in the vehicle, Lewis would explain how someone was in the
01:27trunk.
01:29Upon opening the trunk, police would find the remains of Jassy Cohella inside of a suitcase.
01:34A suitcase which Lewis was later found to have purchased only a couple days earlier at a nearby
01:38Walmart.
01:40Along with this he also purchased other items such as duct tape, surgical gloves, and safety
01:45goggles.
01:46The unfortunate events were believed to have started at a nightclub hundreds of miles away
01:58where Jassy Cohella was last seen.
02:00It's thought that this is where Lewis had lured her inside of his car.
02:04Upon being arrested, Lewis Coleman would plead not guilty, but considering the mass amount of
02:09evidence against him, he would later be found otherwise by a federal jury.
02:13As of right now, Lewis is still waiting for his sentencing.
02:21It's November 19, 2017 in Clearwater, Florida.
02:25Two police cruisers, both with their own dash cams, were responding to a traffic stop on
02:29North Keene Road.
02:31Just two minutes after they arrived, a small plane hovering in the air slowly comes into view.
02:36But it quickly becomes clear that it's descending and heading straight at them.
02:55The plane's right wing clips a tree wall descending, causing the aircraft to spin out and forcing
03:06it to the side of the road.
03:08Just minutes earlier, the four-seater plane had taken off from a nearby airport.
03:13Flying it was 61-year-old Mark Allen Benedict, accompanied by one other passenger.
03:18Shortly into the flight, their engines started failing.
03:21Mark reported this back to the airport and further explained to them that he didn't think
03:24he could make it back.
03:26Mark didn't have many options, as the state of the one engine he had was only continuing
03:30to worsen.
03:32This is what forced him to crash land on the road, a road which just so happened to already
03:35have police present.
03:37Despite the terrible nature of the crash, Mark and the other passenger on board were able
03:41to walk away from the wreckage with minimal injuries.
03:44No one on the ground was injured.
03:51This footage was taken from the dashcam of Arkansas Police Corporal Randy McAdams around 3 AM on
03:56October 15, 2005.
03:59Randy had been informed of some type of crash at Hobo Jungle Park and was in the process of
04:03responding to the incident.
04:05On his way to the crash site, he would notice a thick layer of what looked like fog directly
04:09in front of him.
04:11This prompted Randy to stay put.
04:13Shortly after, his dashcam would capture this.
04:16He had a hard explosion, Hobo Jungle.
04:17We made golfing planes.
04:182-9.
04:19You all right?
04:20Damn!
04:21Oh!

05:07I got him.
05:08That's good!
05:09Oh!
05:10Oh!
05:12Oh!
05:13Oh!
05:14Randy desperately backs away from the explosion and is able to make it out of its range.
05:39It turns out the crash he was responding to was a train crash at a nearby railroad yard.
05:44The collision resulted in the puncture of a tanker carrying propylene, a compressed flammable
05:48gas.
05:50This is the fog Randy had originally seen when responding to the incident.
05:54At that point, the gas wasn't yet on fire.
05:56It wasn't until it reached a nearby house that it was set ablaze.
06:00It's believed that the house's water heater is what was responsible.
06:04This is what then caused the extreme explosion seen in the dashcam footage.
06:08Had Randy entered the fog, he and his patrol vehicle likely would have been incinerated
06:13but, amazingly, all police officers and even rail yard employees were out of the explosion's
06:18range when it occurred.
06:20In fact, around 3,000 residents within a 1 mile radius were advised to evacuate immediately.
06:26Unfortunately though, the house that had started the explosion had a single occupant, which
06:30would be the only person killed in the incident.
06:33This tragedy brought a lot of light to the shortcomings and communication methods between
06:36the police, the fire department, and those working the rail yard tower.
06:41For example, initial observations of a vapor cloud and chemical odor were not even passed
06:45down to responding dispatchers.
06:48In response to this, the city has since modified some of their communication protocols.
06:57This footage was taken on February 18th, 2022 in Shawna, Wisconsin.
07:02The dashcam is in the cruiser of Officer Jeff Buettner.
07:06Jeff was patrolling the highway when suddenly this happened.
07:09Treated.
07:10Listen, tell you all.
07:11Don't get out of here.
07:13Watch out.
07:14Good, man!
07:15Hey!
07:37A pile up of cars comes into view, but same as everyone else, the icy conditions didn't
07:46allow enough time for Jeff to slow down, forcing him to crash.
07:50Before he had time to get out, cars from behind him would begin to slam into his police cruiser.
08:03Jeff was now trapped inside of his vehicle, but still, at least for the most part, unhurt.
08:09Not long passes when a few other people involved in the crash go up to check up on Jeff.
08:33I'm with Shawano PD, I don't want to, I got to try and, I'll try and get out of here and
08:38do what I can to help you guys.
08:40I'm sorry man, I'm trapped right now.
08:44That's okay, that's okay.
08:46Hold on, let me, let me try and get out of my driver's door first.
08:50Can you?
08:51Nope, we got it open.
09:03Six minutes would pass until Jeff was able to free himself.
09:08From there, he immediately joined in helping other stranded drivers.
09:11A total of 39 vehicles were involved in the pileup, resulting in 10 people being injured.
09:21In January of 2016, police of Lincoln County would release this dash cam video.
09:27Driving the cruiser is Deputy Jeremy Gatney, who was on a routine patrol in the area at the
09:31time.
09:33As he nears an intersection, Jeremy notices an obstruction in the roadway.
09:36That's when he realizes it was moving and coming towards him.
09:41He slows down and turns on his lights as he gets closer, before realizing what he was actually
09:46looking at.
10:06An infant child running in the middle of the road right up to Jeremy's front bumper.
10:18Jeremy picks him up and asks him where his parents were, and shortly after they would
10:21be located.
10:22They were found frantically searching for their child.
10:26It was later discovered that the child had unknowingly slipped out of the family's house
10:30through an open door, and it wouldn't be until minutes later before the parents realized
10:34that their child was missing.
10:37The incident was investigated thoroughly on the basis of child neglect, but it was ultimately
10:41determined to just be an accident.
10:43Therefore, no criminal charges were brought to anyone involved.
10:52On the morning of February 24th, 2015, police would receive multiple calls from a neighborhood
10:57in New Jersey reporting a strong smell of gas in the air.
11:01Police, firefighters, and utility workers would respond to the calls.
11:05They suspected a gas leak and were quickly trying to locate where it was coming from.
11:09Meanwhile, 75 different homes in the nearby area were evacuated.
11:14Then, caught on one of the responding police cruiser's dash cams, a sudden explosion.
11:35The explosion sent debris from the house flying out in every direction throughout the neighborhood.
11:51The home was blown clear from its base, though it was under renovation at the time, and therefore
11:56empty of people.
11:57However, 15 people would still be injured from the blast, most of which being firefighters
12:02and utility workers, some even being critically injured and having to be airlifted to nearby
12:07emergency rooms.
12:09It's believed the explosion was caused by a two-inch gas main that broke, but how it broke
12:13in the first place, or what ignited the blast, is still unclear.
