00:00In 2015, a couple in San Jose, California were the victims of a home invasion.
00:14Intruders were never identified.
00:16The police recommended the two invest in some home security cameras to protect against future
00:20break-ins.
00:22And so the couple did.
00:23They set up a total of six different cameras around their house.
00:26Then, on May 8th of that same year, these cameras would capture a second break-in.
00:32Two men wearing black clothes climb a fence into the backyard, where they're shown finding
00:36an unlocked sliding glass door.
00:39They walk inside and immediately go into the kitchen.
00:42One of them is seen disconnecting a phone setting on the counter.
00:46They proceed to search the kitchen, opening different cabinets and drawers.
00:51From this they find kitchen knives, which they take with them to arm themselves.
00:56One on a different camera, they're next seen running upstairs, kitchen knives in hand.
01:12As they're searching the rooms upstairs, one of the men comes across a locked door.
01:15It was the door to the master bedroom.
01:19He puts his ear to the door and hears a baby crying.
01:23Inside the room was a family friend named Rosie and the two homeowner's child.
01:28Rosie was babysitting for them when the intruders entered the home.
01:32Hearing the crying, the man alerted his partner that people were inside.
01:36Instead of getting spooked and leaving, the men go up to the door and aggressively start
01:39kicking it.
01:40They hit it with such force that they managed to kick a hole in it.
01:44They then thrust knives through the hole.
01:47Rosie took the couple's child and retreated to the bathroom, locking that door as well.
01:51She screamed out that she called the police.
01:55This would work.
01:56The men finally started running away before they could fully break into the bedroom.
02:01Police reviewed all of the footage, but were never able to identify the men.
02:06Their true motives remain unknown.
02:08It's hard to believe they were only trying to rob the place, seeing that they disconnected
02:12the phones and felt the need to arm themselves with kitchen knives.
02:16They also didn't immediately leave upon finding people inside.
02:19Instead, they tried breaking down a door to get to them.
02:26This is the footage from a home security camera in Vacaville, California.
02:30It was April when this footage was taken, and during that time of year, it's common to
02:34see a lot of activity in the form of kids walking home from school each afternoon.
02:39On this day, at some point, a girl with a backpack on is shown walking into frame.
02:44She was walking home from school like everyone else.
02:47However, she had been being followed for several blocks by a man in a dark-colored Pontiac.
02:53She noticed this, and so she used a large truck parked on the side of the road to hide.
03:16She abruptly stops walking while she's out of view of the Pontiac.
03:20The driver stops, expecting her to come back into view.
03:23When she doesn't, he stalls there for a while before slowly driving off.
03:28The girl is left standing there, unsure of what to do next.
03:32Eventually, she sees the car coming back, and decides to stay put behind the truck.
03:36The Pontiac drives by, and then reverses to try and talk to the girl, but she continually
03:58repositions herself out of view.
04:01Finally, he drives off again, and the girl makes a run for it.
04:05After receiving multiple tips about the driver and his car, the police started an investigation.
04:10A 24-year-old man was identified as the driver.
04:14He was interviewed, but not arrested.
04:17He technically hadn't committed any crime, and therefore police couldn't really do anything.
04:21Whether or not the man was actually planning something that day is unknown.
04:30Ali Porath is a mother of two daughters, one 13 years old and one 3 years old.
04:35On the night of February 20th, 2022, the three of them went shopping together.
04:41Their home security camera would show them returning home.
04:43They are seen walking inside and closing the door behind them.
04:48Shortly after, a man walks into frame from around their parked truck.
04:52The very first thing he does is try to open the door.
04:55Who are you talking to?
05:00Why?
05:03Why?
05:04after knocking a few times the man walks away however they later found out through a neighbor's
05:32camera that for the next five minutes he walks around the house on his phone ali further reviewed
05:37the videos and found that it appears the man had been following them in his car all the way from
05:42the store a few seconds after they park in the driveway his car drives a bit further and parks
05:47a few houses down after a few more seconds he gets out and starts walking towards them
05:53thankfully they were able to get everything inside and the door locked before he got there
05:58ali ended by writing i don't know what this man's intentions were but i don't think it was to rob
06:04us i do believe that this was random and that we are not specifically targeted but that he saw an
06:10opportunity when he saw a woman and two girls go into a house alone police were alerted and they
06:16did search the area but the man in the video was never found
06:19in october of 2016 a family in florida noticed multiple things missing from inside their home
06:28the night before everything was there but when they woke up stuff was missing

07:08A man walks around the house while three children are sleeping on couches only feet away from
07:29him. He walks around them looking for valuables and hands what he finds to another man standing
07:34just outside, this one armed. The family immediately called the police upon seeing the footage.
07:42Police opened an investigation, but never found the two men in the video. Police believe
07:47that had anyone in the house woken up during the break-in, they likely would have been shot.
07:56A woman in Hudson, Wisconsin opened her blinds one morning and noticed something in the snow
08:00outside her window. She went outside and realized she was looking at footprints. The prints walked
08:07right up to her bedroom window and then back the way they came. Worried someone deliberately
08:12looked inside her window, the woman set up a security camera outside pointed towards her
08:16window. A few nights later, the camera recorded the man who made the footprints coming back.
08:23And the other condition? She walked in back the middle of us. She walked in the town.
08:30A woman, the main picture was a woman. She walked into her bedroom. She did not always
08:35get the track in her room. She was in the room. She walked in the room, she saw her husband,
08:37saw her husband, ate her husband, ate her husband, a daughter, and sent her husband. She was
08:42in the house with my life. She was a son, and he was a son of a house and he was a child. She was
08:47The man is shown, clearly peering in the window.
08:57Police were alerted and shown the video.
09:00After doing some digging, they were able to trace the vehicle leaving the scene to a man
09:03named Robert Cessna, a highly reputable executive for the company 3M.
09:09According to his LinkedIn profile, Robert Cessna is a Global Key Account Vice President
09:13at 3M and he shows similarities to the man in the video.
09:18Robert was contacted by police but denied it was him.
09:21Police then interviewed several neighborhood witnesses and along with other evidence were
09:25able to confirm that he was lying.
09:27He was the man in the video.
09:30Robert Cessna was ultimately charged with felony stalking and later fired from his executive
09:34position.
09:39Margaret Woodward was a 68 year old living in Long Eaton, a town in England.
09:45Throughout the year 2013, her home had been the target of multiple break-ins.
09:50A total of 5 had occurred and so she finally took the advice of police and installed home
09:54security cameras.
09:57Caught on the cameras, a 6th break-in occurs around 1 in the morning.
10:01A man is seen silently walking around while Margaret is sleeping in her living room.

10:36What is he?
10:38You want to show us?
10:43Well, the love of my father screwed up, but he hit the church because he didn't want to marry him.
10:48All right, I'll make the request. I just need you to get him on the phone.
10:52He'll take your call. You guys have been friends since law school.
10:55As a friend, I would have to advise you.
10:57Yeah, he's already done 35 years.
10:58I'm not still from the state.
11:01The governor pardons law in actual condition that the police go to the prison murder and get sentenced to phone service.
11:06So the upstate DA and the warden get what they want?
11:08The man is able to take multiple belongings, all while Margaret has no idea.
11:13She doesn't wake up until he sets off an alarm.
11:16She then gets out of her chair and chases him with a cane.
11:20Using the footage, police were finally able to identify the man.
11:23He was 51-year-old Patrick Reed and was responsible for all six break-ins.
11:28He stole a total of around $1,000 from Margaret.
