00:00and he literally took a look at me what's that dude we just heard some gunshots go off
00:07i don't know what the heck's going on on october 29th 2022 youtuber taylor van beek uploaded this
00:19truck camping video it opens with a relaxed easygoing energy giving off a familiar approachable
00:25vibe his plan is to house sit for a friend who's out of town while taking the chance to do some
00:31truck camping with his dog lola and his sister's dog parker initially the video is cheerful and
00:37light-hearted showcasing the kind of outdoor style content his viewers expect the setting is suburban
00:43jacksonville florida while it's not a remote forest or desert truck camping in an urban neighborhood
00:48still comes with its own set of surprises and challenges
00:51all right guys so me and lullipop are heading old downtown jacksonville we're gonna go ahead and do
01:10some truck camping i've got a buddy that's actually leaving town he asked me to house sit so i'm gonna
01:16go ahead head that way first i gotta go grab my sister's dog because old grandpa taylor here's
01:22gotta pick up cousin parker because she's also going out of town the puppies are gonna have some play
01:27dates i know you guys are gonna ask this question how do you go into grocery stores in florida with a
01:36puppy and it's hot well what you gotta do let's have two sets of keys so i'm just gonna go ahead
01:40lock the truck leave the truck running have the ac rolling and my baby girl is gonna be nice and cool
01:46so we just made it to my buddy's crib we've got a little parker buddy here that's actually
01:51whoa lola's cousin so my sister's pup and then we have got where you at lola she's over here exploring
01:57after picking up both dogs taylor arrives at his friend's house tends to the animals and whips up a
02:05simple taco dinner in the truck he feeds lola and settles in for the night expecting a calm evening
02:10but this isn't a story about the wilderness it's about the sudden unpredictable dangers of urban
02:17life around 2 70 a.m taylor is abruptly shaken by the unmistakable crack of gunfire just outside his
02:24truck the sharp close shots leave no time for hesitation he immediately abandons the vehicle
02:29and rushes inside to the house where the dogs have been sleeping
02:32we are hitting the sheets i will see y'all in the morning good night i don't know what the heck's
02:42going on but i think i just heard some gunshots right outside my truck i'm gonna go ahead and get
02:47i'm gonna get in the house because i'm kind of freaked out right now
02:51it's two o'clock in the morning right now we just heard some gunshots go off
03:10i don't know what the heck's going on and i have not seen any cops show up so i i don't know if those
03:16were actually gunshots that went off but i think we're gonna go ahead and just fall asleep on the
03:20couch inside this house and i will see you guys in the morning the moment is unsettling not from
03:26over-the-top dramatization but because the situation shifts so suddenly from light-hearted
03:31to threatening taylor doesn't linger on fear yet his choice to abandon the truck and take refuge inside
03:37the house speaks volumes the absence of any immediate police response only heightens the tension
03:42hours later he receives a text from the homeowner checking if everything is okay the loud noises had
03:48triggered alerts on the ring security cameras around the property reviewing the footage confirms
03:52the gunfire real close and unmistakable the video pinpoints the shots as coming from near the street
03:59just outside the house yet no emergency services arrived that night and no follow-up was made so i just
04:06got a text from my buddy the one that i'm house sitting for he's asking if i was all right i guess
04:10he got an alert i forgot he's got ring cameras another one right there i guess he got an alert because
04:17a loud noise went off and we looked back at the footage there were gunshots that went off
04:23attack this group on night and he got an alert because that was the fire 쿠ki
04:25pet though like the האlam plot.
04:26cat squirted
04:29cat squirted
04:30cat squirted
04:31cat squirted
04:35cat squirted
04:36cat squirted
04:44cat squirted
04:46cat squirted
04:49From the footage that came from that general vicinity, it's crazy, according to that ring
05:06footage, the cops never showed up, which is nuts.
05:09I think it's safe to say I will never house-sit for my buddy again, a little too sketchy.
05:16With no official response, the entire episode feels like a personal nightmare ignored by
05:20the authorities.
05:21There's a heavy psychological impact in realizing that a real danger occurred so close, and
05:27yet went completely unaddressed.
05:30The next morning, Taylor packs up and leaves, casually mentioning that he probably won't
05:35house-sit for that friend again.
05:37The neighborhood now carries the weight of that sudden threat, and it's clear he has
05:40no intention of putting himself in that position again.
05:44In the end, this encounter underscores a simple truth.
05:47No amount of preparation or familiarity can guarantee safety when the unpredictable strikes.
05:52Jenna Alexis, best known for her solo outdoor camping adventures, embarked on another journey
05:58deep within the remote wilderness of Crownland.
06:01While this wasn't her first time practicing bushcraft alone, the trip would unexpectedly
06:05shift from a calm escape into something far more unsettling.
06:09At first, everything was deliberate and serene.
06:11Jenna carefully crossed a narrow river by balancing on fallen logs, then searched for dry, standing
06:17dead wood to use as firewood.
06:19With practiced ease, she felled small trees, hauled the logs back to camp, and gathered pieces
06:25of fat wood to ensure a strong, lasting flame.
06:30This guy.
06:32I don't know how I didn't see that when I was walking in, but I'm going to cut this down.
06:35These standing dead trees in your camp are called widowmakers because they can squish
06:38you in the middle of the night should they fall or should a gust of wind blow them over.
06:41It is a dead tree.
06:42I'm not harming any of the living trees around here.
06:44So we're going to be taking that down for safety and for firewood.
06:48I cut a notch in my tree facing that way because I want it to fall that way, but it has a bit
07:02of a lean that way.
07:03So I'm going to stay on the side.
07:05So either way it decides to fall, I'm going to get out of the way really fast, but I'm
07:08hoping I can get it to go in that gap over there.
07:15That was sick.
07:24Falling trees can obviously be very dangerous and for that reason I don't like to go against
07:27the laws of gravity, but there were some trees on the other side that were alive that I didn't
07:32want to hit and have the tree land on and it worked.
07:36I'm learning things.
07:38As Jenna's camp takes form, her every move reflects a careful respect for wilderness survival.
07:43She chooses a sturdy, tall tree to hang her bear-resistant food bag, a vital precaution
07:48in grisly territory.
07:49Her shelter is methodically secured, with a taut ridge line strung between two trees and
07:54a tarp anchored firmly with pegs and paracord.
07:57Even her firewood is chosen thoughtfully, steering clear of the living trees that surround her.
08:02The result is a minimalist yet efficient setup, a low-profile lean-to shelter that showcases
08:07both her bushcraft skill and her preference for practical simplicity.
08:11But the calm rhythm of the day doesn't last.
08:15The first disruption arrives earlier than expected, when a white SUV pulls up near where she parked.
08:20A man steps out and approaches, explaining that he's searching for something he claims to
08:25have left behind with his girlfriend on an earlier trip.
08:27Okay, goodbye to the campsite that once almost was.
08:43I don't think I left anything.
08:47Okay.
08:48Barely got everything in my bag because I didn't, like, fold everything properly.
08:55I'm just trying to get out of here.
08:57I have half of my stuff in my food bag.
09:00It's gonna be okay.
09:04He's not here right now.
09:05Like, this is where he pulled out to, and he literally took a look at me and turned around
09:11and pulled out.
09:12But I know it was the same car.
09:13I had a white SUV with a bag over the back of his window, and he turned around and I
09:18saw that same bag.
09:20So yeah, I'm fucking out of here.
09:28Even if that guy didn't mean any harm and he was just trying to camp here, I don't like
09:31when somebody knows where I'm camping when I'm by myself.
09:33Like, I want to be hidden and unseen, and I don't want some man to know that I'm alone
09:37in the woods.
09:42Although his request sounds harmless, Jenna's instincts tell her to be wary.
09:46Rather than heading to her planned campsite, she chooses to wait inside her van until the
09:51man returns.
09:52But as the minutes drag on, and he lingers in the woods far longer than seems reasonable,
09:57unease begins to creep in.
09:59Eventually, she edges toward his SUV, noticing its darkly tinted windows in a bag positioned
10:04to block the rear glass.
10:06Unable to tell if someone else might be inside, she circles the vehicle, trying to determine
10:10whether he's truly alone and if his story holds up.
10:14She also commits the license plate to memory, a small but telling sign of just how unsettled
10:19this encounter has left her.
10:20Just to explain what just happened there, this morning I got here pretty early and I
10:28pulled out to the spot that I thought was going to be my spot for the night.
10:31And I was getting my backpack, getting ready to leave the car.
10:33When this white SUV pulled up and this guy walked out and he walked up to my campsite or where
10:38my car was parked and he was like, hey, me and my girlfriend were here this morning and
10:41I left something.
10:42I'm just going to go look for it.
10:43And I was like, yeah, sure, whatever.
10:45But I wanted to wait inside the van until he got back out of the woods and left so that
10:48I knew he wasn't like still out there and that he wouldn't know where I was going to
10:51hike to.
10:52So I was waiting in the car for like a while and it started to get suspicious that he was
10:55like out in the woods for that long.
10:57And so I walked up to his car, first of all, to get the license plate, but also to see
11:02if his girlfriend was actually in there, but the windows were like heavily tinted to
11:05the point that I couldn't even see in.
11:07But I walked like up and around the car.
11:09So I would assume if the girlfriend was in there, she would have like saw me and been
11:11like, hey, what's up?
11:12You know what I mean?
11:13So I walked around the car.
11:14I couldn't see if there was someone inside.
11:16I got the license plate and I went back to my car and I just got a bad feeling from that.
11:21Even as Jenna tries to shake it off and focus on the beauty of the wilderness, that first
11:25unsettling encounter lingers like a shadow.
11:28She keeps busy, chopping wood, tending her camp, preparing for the night.
11:32But her movements and tone betray a mind still fixed on the man who now knows she's alone.
11:38Far from help and vulnerable.
11:40The real turning point comes later that evening.
11:42As she returns to her tarp shelter, she notices what looks unmistakably like the same white
11:47SUV.
11:48The details leave no doubt.
11:49The shape.
11:50The bag covering the rear window, the exact model and color.
11:54This time, it pulls in for only a moment before turning around and driving away.
11:58No words pass between them, yet the silent message is impossible to ignore.
12:02The sky was beautiful.
12:04The weather was great.
12:05I was having a great time out there, got a lot done.
12:07And then like 4 p.m. rolls around and I see that same car.
12:11I know it was the same car because when I looked at the license plate, I saw his back window
12:15was gone and he just had like a garbage bag over it.
12:18And I saw a white SUV pull up in the distance and then I saw it like stop where I'm pretty
12:23sure he saw me.
12:24And then he turned around and left and as he was leaving I saw that like garbage bag on
12:27the back.
12:28I was very uneasy.
12:29Like why did I see that man twice?
12:30Why did I never see his girlfriend that he mentioned?
12:32Why was he driving around a bunch of different campsites all day?
12:35I also don't like the vibe I got from him in the first place and I was just, I just needed
12:39to get out of here.
12:40But that does really bother me because it sucks that I can't just come out here and have
12:44a good time.
12:45Be worried about some creepy man wandering around at night.
12:48I like being a girl.
12:50Don't get me wrong.
12:51I love being a woman.
12:52I love femininity.
12:53But there are times in life I wish I was a man so that I didn't have to feel this type
12:56of way.
12:57Like I already get nervous and kind of scared every time I come out and camp alone, but
13:03I usually just work through it because usually it's all in my head.
13:05Usually I just have to be strong and be brave and like work through that, those nerves and
13:09that fear.
13:10Whether the man was deliberately following her or merely passing through remains unclear, but
13:15to Jenna the meeting feels unmistakable.
13:18Her sense of privacy has been shattered and the idea of staying the night is no longer
13:22an option.
13:23What began as a peaceful solo bushcraft outing quickly turns into a rushed breakdown of camp.
13:29She hastily gathers her gear, barely bothering to pack it properly, and heads straight for
13:34her van.
13:35Comfort and completion are no longer priorities.
13:38Only getting out safely matters.
13:40As she drives away, Jenna stresses the importance of staying alert and cautious when camping alone,
13:47especially for women venturing into remote areas.
13:49What's your take on this unsettling encounter?
13:52When this encounter comes from a lesser known YouTube creator, Korn1234, a channel focused
13:57on documenting unexplained aerial phenomena.
13:59While much of the channel's footage is subtle or easily dismissed, one video, recorded on
14:04July 20, 2019, stands out as particularly unsettling.
14:09The fact that it was uploaded nearly five years ago lends it an extra layer of credibility
14:13for many viewers, as reflected in the growing curiosity and speculation in the comments.
14:19The scene is set in a remote woodland, far from roads, houses, or any visible infrastructure.
14:25The camera sweeps slowly across the horizon, revealing low, distant lights, silent, hovering
14:31and moving in ways that bear no resemblance to aircraft, towers, or any other known man-made
14:36source.
14:37Thank you for listening to that.
14:51The camera sweeps slowly across the horizon.
18:56Maybe somebody can tell me what this is.
21:00So far I'm really not seeing any need for alarm. I'm guessing it's just a...
21:06Abandoned tent.
21:14It's all wet.
21:16Well, yeah.
21:18I would just leave it.
21:21There's no blood or anything pulling out. I don't think it's a person.
21:25And I mean if there's a shoe here, it's not like they leave a corpse and take a child.
21:29You know, someone had to have been here to take the kid away if there was an injury.
21:45I think it's just a f***ed up tent.
21:49It's pretty f***ed up.
21:50It's very, very f***ed up.
21:52I'm curious as to what that is.
21:54We're pretty much right there with it.
21:57It might just be water that pooled and froze. Maybe.
22:12The group instantly feels that something isn't right.
22:16The tent appears to have been abandoned in a hurry, perhaps during a storm, but even that theory doesn't fully make sense.
22:22Items are scattered in an oddly haphazard way.
22:26A shoe in one spot.
22:28A sleeping bag in another, as if left behind without thought or order.
22:32The tent is partially collapsed.
22:34Its interior littered with frozen blankets and clothing, some of which seem recently used.
22:39There's no evidence of violence, yet nothing to suggest a calm, intentional departure either.
22:44Most unsettling is the small child's shoe, abandoned alongside gear any camper would normally take.
22:50The discovery sparks more questions than answers.
22:53Did a family flee in panic?
22:54Was this campsite later taken over by someone else?
22:57Whatever the truth, the fine leaves them uneasy.
23:00Choosing not to disturb the scene further, they quietly move on.
23:03Some other people came and said, you're not allowed to give spots and smash them off.
23:31What?
23:32Like this tree could have fallen scared of?
23:34That could be.
23:35That could be.
23:36It could be something.
23:37There's some like candy wrappers here.
23:42Honestly, actually, I think that pump there, because it looks like that might be another air bomb.
23:51Might be lumpy the same way this looks like it was a very bad.
23:58Like this is extra fabric ones up.
24:00That would make a bump like that too.
24:01That's true.
24:02Yeah, I think it's an empty tent with some candy wrappers and a kid's shoe.
24:13It could have even been parent-said.
24:17You guys can go camping.
24:18We'll come check on you every day.
24:20Here's a bungee cord.
24:34Here's a bungee cord.
24:35Here's a bungee cord.
24:37As they venture deeper into the forest, the strangeness escalates.
24:41They notice odd markings on trees, including what appears to be spray paint covering trail
24:46directions.
24:47It's an immediate red flag.
24:49If someone went out of their way to obscure the markers, perhaps they wanted to keep others
24:53from coming through.
24:54The paint, fresh in some spots yet sloppily applied, looks hastily done.
24:59Nearby, they spot additional markings, possibly antler rubs or cuts from a blade.
25:04These small oddities start to pile up.
25:07Then, the most unsettling find emerges.
25:10Large, human-like barefoot prints in the snow.
25:13They're noticeably wider and longer than anyone in the groups, and they don't resemble
25:17any known animal tracks.
25:19Even stranger, the prints abruptly vanish mid-trail, as if whoever made them simply disappeared.
25:26I don't think so.
25:27It's like two little circles.
25:28Those look like coyotes.
25:29I could see-
25:30Oh, maybe they're-
25:31These are coyotes, but those I don't know.
25:32Those are not posed going.
25:33Well, over here are two.
25:34Right there.
25:35That might have been brilliant.
25:36Yeah.
25:37Yeah, yeah, yeah.
25:38I did a foot comparison.
25:39Oh.
25:40Come here, come here.
25:41Come here.
25:42So, it's just-
25:43What's it about there?
25:44Right there?
25:45Right there.
25:46That might have been brilliant.
25:49Yeah.
25:50Yeah, yeah.
25:51I did a foot comparison.
25:52Oh.
25:53Come here, come here.
25:54So, it's just-
25:55Was it about the size of your shoe, honey?
25:57No.
25:58Way bigger.
25:59Way bigger.
26:00Get the camera.
26:01Get the camera.
26:02Look at the toes.
26:03Look at the phalanges on this thing.
26:06Even if he was wearing, like, black shoes-
26:09Yeah, look.
26:10Yeah.
26:11They're still over-
26:12They're over here, too.
26:16What the fuck?
26:18Two.
26:19Yeah.
26:20Any animal that you know of, Lauren?
26:22No.
26:23That's not bear.
26:24Definitely not coyote.
26:25Definitely not wolf.
26:26Definitely not deer.
26:27Great guy.
26:28It could be a pigeon.
26:29Totally.
26:30It's the same pose as my feet.
26:33It's just not-
26:34Big foot!
26:35His feet aren't as wide.
26:36I'm guessing it's either somebody with, like, natural toes, like those shoes, like a nature
26:41head.
26:42And then shortly afterward, a loud, unidentifiable roar echoes from deep within the forest.
26:47It doesn't resemble any wildlife they recognize, carrying instead a strange, almost primal quality.
26:53The sound isn't repeated, but it's more than enough to leave the group on edge.
26:58Look at those shoes, like a nature head.
27:00But out here?
27:02That-
27:03What the fuck was that?
27:05Dude, we're literally finding this though right now.
27:12No, they're the same size as my foot though, so they should-
27:16By now, paranoia has taken hold.
27:19The group decides to head back to their own campsite before darkness falls.
27:22They manage to get a fire going and attempt to relax, but the video closes not with a dramatic
27:27climax, but with a lingering heaviness.
27:30A sense that the forest still keeps its secrets.
27:34As always, I'll leave it to you to decide what to make of this encounter.
27:37Uploaded on June 29th, 2025.
27:40This encounter is a rare reminder that nature's fury can endanger even the most secure setups, like the cab of a semi-truck.
27:47While parked and asleep, the trucker is abruptly awakened by blaring emergency sirens and flashing alerts on both of his phones.
27:55The weather had been unstable earlier, but now it's official.
27:58A tornado warning is in effect, and the storm system appears to be heading straight for him.
28:03Holy crap.
28:06Good morning.
28:07I just woke up to sirens going off with possible tornadoes here in Minnesota.
28:18I'm under a tornado warning.
28:22I'm here at my receiver for tomorrow morning.
28:26Yeah, look at that cloud coming in behind us.
28:29It is so freaking eerie out here right now.
28:35Like there's no wind.
28:37There's no nothing.
28:38I mean, I hear there's a reefer running right there, but it is silent.
28:45Like there's no bugs.
28:48There's no birds.
28:49There's no nothing right now.
28:51Um.
28:56Holy crap.
28:58I'm actually a little bit nervous.
29:00I don't know if you can see this behind me.
29:03Look at that cloud.
29:04Look at that.
29:05What the hell is that?
29:09Look at that.
29:10Stepping out of his truck to assess the situation, he captures a truly harrowing sight.
29:19A towering wall of clouds unlike anything he's witnessed before.
29:22What makes it even more unsettling is the complete absence of ambient sound.
29:26The air is unnervingly still, a textbook sign that a tornado could be near.
29:31That silence is soon broken by distant thunder and flashes of lightning,
29:35each burst briefly illuminating his truck in stark shadows.
29:38For a moment, he debates whether to remain in the cab or run for shelter.
29:43The only nearby option is a large commercial building, he knows.
29:46It's bathroom designated as a tornado refuge.
29:49He readies himself to sprint across the lot, only to find the building closed.
29:53Though the front doors are unlocked, offering a possible escape if the situation turns critical.
29:59Honestly, like, if I see a tornado, I think I'm going to break a window in this building.
30:05And it's like, it's a huge building.
30:08I think I'm going to break a window and I actually know where their bathroom is.
30:13Their bathroom is a shelter, a tornado shelter area in this building.
30:18So, um, because I've been here hundreds of times, I think, I think I'm going to go in there.
30:27Holy shit!
30:29Did you all see that?
30:31I don't know what to, I don't know what to do right now.
30:35Dude.
30:40I don't know what to do right now.
30:45I don't know what to do right now.
31:05You know what?
31:10I wonder if one of these buildings, there's some buildings over here.
31:15I wonder if one of them is open.
31:21I don't feel like I'm over exaggerating here.
31:25Not when I've gotten an alert on my phone that told me to seek shelter immediately.
31:29And I'm in a frickin' truck.
31:31It's still super, like, calm out though.
31:34Minus the thunder and the lightning show.
31:40It's super calm out.
31:41I think that's what I'm going to do real quick.
31:43I'm going to, I'm going to get redressed here and I, I'm going to go next door.
31:49All right.
31:50It's actually getting frickin', like, I'm actually scared.
31:54Um...
31:58I am going to run to...
32:02Man, they don't look open.
32:05I'm going to run to these buildings over here.
32:08Uh, it's getting bad super frickin' quick.
32:13I don't know what the hell to do.
32:18All right.
32:20Screw it.
32:21Let's go see if they're open.
32:22They're open.
32:30So, this facility's not open.
32:33But...
32:37Their main door to check in is, now it's frickin' pouring out.
32:40Oh, shit.
32:44Holy crap.
32:46The weather quickly turns violent.
32:48Unleashing heavy rain, deafening thunder, and hail that hammers against the truck's metal roof.
32:53When a brief lull arrives, he makes a run for the building, noting that the wind has dropped again.
32:58But the shelter is closed, leaving him exposed to both lightning and hail.
33:02Soaked and rattled, he retreats to the truck, safe for the moment, but far from calm.
33:08Back inside, the storm rages on, though the worst of the tornado threat appears to have passed.
33:14Just after 1250 AM, the warning officially expires.
33:18The truck is still standing, though visibly battered.
33:20He's physically exhausted and emotionally drained.
33:23Uncertain if he'll get any more sleep.
33:25His original plan was to rest at the facility before an early morning delivery.
33:29But the chaos has completely derailed that schedule.
33:32I'm soaking wet.
33:36But I think I made it through the worst part.
33:39Maybe now I can go back to sleep and get some rest.
33:43I can handle a thunderstorm.
33:45That siren was right behind me.
33:47That s what woke me up.
33:49And then both my phones were giving me the emergency alerts and everything like that.
33:55I actually got nervous.
33:59That s weird.
34:03I did.
34:04I actually got nervous.
34:08It s kind of dying down here a little bit.
34:10I mean, it s still raining, but...
34:13That was so weird, like so eerie.
34:17One minute, dead silent.
34:19There isn't a sound.
34:21Like, no bugs, no birds, no nothing.
34:26And then all of a sudden the wind picks up and it's just whipping.
34:30And then all of a sudden there's no wind.
34:36Yeah, I was a little bit scared.
34:38Anyways, this is a trucker spending the night living through a storm.
34:43Whoa!
34:46Whoa!
34:54That lightning strike was like right there.
34:56By around 4.50 a.m., dawn begins to break, birds return, and the first light of morning spills across the horizon.
35:08This wasn't a ghost story or a stalker in the woods.
35:11It was a face-to-face encounter with one of nature's most unpredictable and unforgiving forces.
35:15Chidza Chad is a YouTuber familiar with solo outdoor adventures.
35:20But unlike his usual trips, this outing takes a disturbing turn when unexplained sounds and an unsettling feeling of being watched interrupt the forest's calm.
35:29Putnam State Park is far from an ordinary campsite.
35:34Steeped in Revolutionary War history, it once hosted Continental Army soldiers, enduring harsh winter encampments in the late 1700s.
35:44Today, remnants remain.
35:46Moss-covered cellar holes, colonial ruins, and trails once trodden by countless men facing hunger, exposure, and disease.
35:54The video opens with Chad hiking into the park just before sunset, planning a minimalist overnight stay with only a hammock and tarp strung between the trees.
36:05I'm going to be walking through what's supposed to be a haunted park, like a forest.
36:10I'm out here all alone in the woods inside of this state park right now.
36:15So I am inside the Putnam State Park.
36:16This is a state park out here in Connecticut where Revolutionary War soldiers were camped out during the winters of 1778 and 1779.
36:27There's reports of ghosts being seen here in the woods, and there's a cave over here where a guy got shot.
36:34So I'm going to try and see if I can communicate with these guys tonight, and we're going to take a walk through the woods right now.
36:37If you haven't already, make sure you like and comment, subscribe to the channel, give the video a thumbs up.
36:42Let's get on this adventure. It's going to be a little crazy.
36:45I am alone, so let's see what happens. Let's go.
36:48So I do have my...
36:50It is dark as hell out here.
36:53I do have my Ovilus device going.
36:55I'm trying to be careful with my light because there are cars that are driving by outside the park, and I actually don't want to get caught in here.
37:12But we're going to walk through this whole park. Here's the Ovilus device right here.
37:17As night descends, he ventures further along the trails using a headlamp and flashlight, eventually reaching Phillip's cave.
37:23A natural overhang that's modest in size but rich in history.
37:28Local lore says soldiers once used the cave as an emergency shelter, and some tales even hint at mysterious disappearances in the vicinity.
37:36While filming near the cave, the atmosphere begins to shift. The air feels heavier, and the usual forest sounds, typically reassuring to experienced hikers, become irregular.
37:47Chad continues filming with a calm demeanor, yet the footage gradually conveys growing tension.
37:51Several times he stops, scanning the tree line, drawn to faint whispers in the crack of branches coming from opposite directions.
37:59The noises never intensify or turn into clear movement, yet they never fully cease.
38:03This is it right here, you guys. This is it. This is Phillip's cave. Right here. Looks like a little stairway.
38:13Made of rocks or something. Or it's obviously made of rocks. I mean, it goes up.
38:18It goes up.
38:25Wow, this is really cool. Oh, yeah, he must have lived. This is his cave.
38:31Little quarters. Right here.
38:33Right here.
38:37Wow, think about like, think about being alive a couple hundred years ago, man.
38:44And living back here during a crazy war.
38:47And the way that the people were back then.
38:51Phillip.
38:53Mr. Phillips.
38:54I'm sorry about what happened to you on this cave.
39:14I'm gonna take a seat.
39:15Can you?
39:17Mr. Phillips.
39:21Sitting here in the Phillips cave.
39:23Or outside of the Phillips cave. Not in it.
39:26Can you talk to me, Mr. Phillips?
39:30At one moment he comes to a complete stop.
39:33A low, almost human-like voice emerges from the darkness.
39:37Too distant to fully understand.
39:39Yet too clear to dismiss.
39:40His flashlight swings frantically, but reveals nothing.
39:43No glinting eyes.
39:45No moving branches.
39:47It's not the sound of an animal or another hiker.
39:50The voice feels deliberate.
39:52As if someone is intentionally remaining just out of sight.
39:55As the night wears on, Chad attempts to steady himself and returns to his hammock.
40:00Yet even as he settles, the camera captures more faint, indistinct murmurs from the surrounding forest.
40:05Occurring at irregular intervals.
40:07The most unnerving aspect is that none of these sounds ever culminate in a visible presence.
40:15Alright.
40:19Whoa.
40:22What was that, dude?
40:26Dude, there's nothing around here that would even possibly make a loud noise like that right now.
40:33At this time of the night.
40:34There's nothing.
40:35Was that a gunshot or something?
40:41So, you guys, it's called residual haunting.
40:46So, residual haunting is basically...
40:53Residual haunting is basically when you hear memories of the past.
40:58And it keeps playing.
40:59Oh.
41:01I think I just heard another one.
41:02Okay.
41:03I don't know what that is, dude.
41:05There's nothing.
41:09There's nothing here.
41:13I don't know what could be making a noise that freaking loud all the way out here.
41:16Although unharmed, his demeanor in the final segment is markedly different.
41:21Reserved, cautious, and contemplative.
41:25He doesn't offer a definitive explanation for what occurred, nor does he make bold paranormal claims.
41:31Yet, it's the understated nature of what he records that makes the footage so unsettling.
41:34Viewers familiar with Putnam State Park's history quickly drew connections to its past.
41:40During the Revolutionary War, the encampments sheltered thousands of poorly equipped soldiers who endured starvation and disease.
41:46Some believe the lingering unrest from that era never fully left the land.
41:51Local historians note recurring reports of shadowy figures, disembodied voices, and even temporal anomalies.
41:58Where visitors briefly experienced the sounds of the 18th century.
42:02Horseshoes.
42:03Gunfire.
42:04Whispered prayers.
42:06Only for them to vanish moments later.
42:08Oh, cool. Checking out, you guys.
42:09I didn't even see this here.
42:11There's a freaking little...
42:13This is like a little lake.
42:14That's in the park.
42:17Let me turn the light on a little bit brighter so you can kind of see it.
42:20Yeah, a little, like, water lake right here.
42:23That's cool as hell.
42:24There's a lot of history here.
42:25This is cool, man.
42:27This is very, very cool.
42:29A lot of stuff here.
42:32Trails are a little bit creepy because it's nighttime, obviously, but...
42:35Alright guys, so we're gonna end this adventure.
42:36That was a crazy little walk through the woods.
42:39A little bit creepy.
42:41I've actually made it all the way back to the front.
42:42Rounded this whole park.
42:45Check out this cool cannon behind me.
42:47So I made it all the way back to the cannon.
42:49This video adds to the expanding collection of modern paranormal evidence captured in historically significant locations.
42:56What makes it stand out is its restraint.
42:58There's no dramatic reverb, no jump scares, and no musical overlays.
43:02The quiet and simplicity of the footage let the unease settle naturally, reflecting what it might truly feel like to be alone in the woods with something unexplainable.
43:11Perhaps that's what makes it most unnerving, unlike staged or predictable scares.
43:16This encounter is about presence.
43:18An entity that doesn't need to appear to dominate a space.
43:21Quietly lingering just out of view and letting your mind fill in the gaps.
43:25With this final encounter, we close another episode.
