Authors of The Resistance is amplifying the call for justice for Isidro Perez, whose life was tragically cut short while in ICE custody.

Isidro’s death is not just a personal tragedy, it is an indictment of a system that cages, neglects, and dehumanizes immigrants. No one should lose their life in the custody of a government that claims to uphold justice and human rights.

Every death in detention sends a chilling message that immigrant lives are disposable. We reject that message.

We honor Isidro’s memory and demand answers, accountability, and the end of detention practices that continue to strip people of safety, dignity, and life itself. His life mattered. His death must not be met with silence.
