00:00Hello darlings. I have some bad news. Are you ready? Here goes. I'm dead.
00:11But it's not all doom and gloom because when one perfectly proportioned door closes
00:20another one opens and that's where you come in.
00:23I'm simply fascinated by the lengths to which people will go to get what they want.
00:32I've seen my fair share of grasping, grabbing, treachery and backstabbing.
00:36Wow. And that's just in my family. So I've set my sights slightly further afield.
00:44You lucky 13 have been chosen because you have brilliant attributes.
00:49I'd love to win it but I want to do this with integrity. If I come out with people saying,
00:57I like old Fergie, he's a nice bloke, I'm a winner.
01:01What I am is an opportunist. If I can make money out of an opportunity, I will do it.
01:08Every day I work really hard and I don't get financial gain. No one works in the NHS for the money.
01:14This is my opportunity to get rewarded.
01:22People underestimate me. They think she's glamorous, she's cute, beautiful clothes. I can use that to my advantage.
01:32You're about to play my little game. Play well and you'll end up rich.
01:36This is mental. Because each of you is in with a chance to get your hands on my generous assets.
01:42That is gorgeous.
01:46My inheritance.
01:51Now, it wouldn't be a devilishly dramatic will reading without a shocking twist.
01:57And here comes mine.
01:58I think the fair thing in life is that those who persuade others that they made the difference
02:05should get the biggest rewards.
02:08So, each time you release part of my inheritance from the estate, one of you will take it all.
02:14It's up to you to agree on who that is.
02:18When it comes to the legal bits, I'm turning things over to my executor,
02:21the fabulous Robert Rinder. Ciao for now.
02:30God, she looks good. If I look that good when I'm dead, I'll be absolutely thrilled.
02:38I'm a scaffolder. Having debts hanging over your head is like having someone stood on your chest.
02:44That's why I work seven days a week to try and pay it off. But having the opportunity to just go,
02:50done, clear, it's amazing.
02:54I was disinherited from my father's money and he's never given me a penny.
03:01We would go over for dinner and he would just randomly say,
03:04that dining chair that you're sat on right now, that would pay off your student bills.
03:07So, I think my fight for money is because of what my dad did.
03:19I'm looking around the room and thinking, who is my biggest competitor?
03:23Have I got a kind of watch? And do you know what? There isn't any I'm worried about.
03:29Good morning. Good morning.
03:40I am the executor of the deceased, Will.
03:42The first thing I'm thinking is, the executor looks absolutely fabulous in his tailored,
03:48double-breasted suit. I can tell straight away he knows what he's talking about.
03:52Well, you've all been chosen to play a game designed by the deceased in order to claim some of the
03:58inheritance. To release money from the inheritance, you must complete a series of requests together
04:04as a team. Here's the deceased's first message from beyond the grave.
04:08Hello, darlings. Brad Pitt, Kylie Minogue, Nick Faldo. What do they all have in common?
04:21If your answer is, they have all been physically ejected from my annual pool party, 10 points to you.
04:28However, if your answer was, they're all winemakers, then an extra gold star for you, darlings.
04:35Like them, I too have my own range of boutique wine. And darlings, it's made me richer than a vintage
04:43claret. Now, I may have expired, but luckily my wine hasn't. In fact, it's experiencing a revival,
04:52the Van Gogh effect, you might say. It's turned into a collector's item. And there,
04:57my little band of boozehounds is where you come in.
05:01To get the money from my first request, I need you to gather up the last of my stock and get it ready
05:08for sale. Steady hands, darling, because every single milliliter is worth money.
05:16Get on with it. While I'm here pushing up daisies, you get to wake up and smell the rosé. Ciao for now.
05:23Now, to complete this request, you must locate, identify, and re-bottle the remaining wine stock
05:33before it is collected. Doing so will release money from the inheritance. The red wine is stored in
05:39barrels in the estate cellar. It will need to be correctly identified. You'll need to match the
05:47example bottles to the corresponding barrels. To do this, you are free to sample the wines.
05:53The white wine is being aged in the loke. You must retrieve this and correctly mix it with the red
05:59wine in order to create the deceased's renowned blend. You have three hours to complete the task
06:06before collection. For each crate of 12 red wines successfully delivered, you will release 400 pounds
06:12from the inheritance. For each crate of 12 blended wines, you'll release 800 pounds. Later, I'll tell
06:20you how much you all earned. Then you will decide which one player contributed the most. Who has been the
06:28best team member? This will be an important decision because that person gets the cash that you all made
06:36today. Only one person gets 100% of the money, so that's got to be me, hasn't it? To clarify, be the best
06:46or at least make everyone else think that you are. As an entrepreneur, if I can convince high net worth
06:54individuals to invest in my ideas, hopefully I can convince average Joes to back me in a game like
07:02this. Players, how you carry out this request is entirely down to you. I'm starting to understand
07:08exactly what we have to do here to get the money. It's all about persuading these guys that basically
07:13you're better than the people sat next to you. Please depart to the drawing room to formulate a plan.
07:19I have literally spent 30 years bluffing my way through businesses. Why can't I bluff my way to the top
07:26in this one? There's lots to talk about.
07:32Guys, can we say like if we actually have like wine knowledge? Excellent idea. So I'm here. I don't really have
07:39wine knowledge. I just enjoy drinking it. So I'm Hannah. I do have a couple of wine credentials under my belt.
07:46OK. If possible, I'd like to stick to the sort of tasting side of things.
07:51My name is Emma. I love a glass of wine, but I don't drink it enough to taste it, if I'm honest.
07:58Like if I have a bowl, it's gone. Are you trying to say you're an alcoholic?
08:01I'm Pat. I do love my Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
08:11Drinking the amounts of wine I've drunk over the years, I knew would pay off one day. I'm 75,
08:17so I'm not going in the lake. OK. I'm James. I really do like wine. I'm not a sommelier. I've
08:24not done a course or anything, but I have visited vineyards. Good. I don't want to risk myself
08:28lapping about in water looking like a fool on day one. Can you differentiate? I can definitely
08:34differentiate. Good. Sold. He's our man. Sold. We're together. Who's the most confident at swimming?
08:41I'm pretty mad because I like cold water swimming, and I look good in a wetsuit.
08:48I like swimming as well. I'm easy, whatever. My name's Jesse, 19. I'm not very familiar with wine,
08:54but I can swim. Good swim. I know I don't have a hand, but don't see that as me not being able to
08:58swim, OK? Being a student, what is good about it, the endurance is there after a night out,
09:04getting to deal with the hungover the day after. So anything that's physical, I'll hopefully be good at.
09:09I'm not a great wine drinker, but I don't mind getting wet. OK.
09:16Jesse is just like an excitable puppy. Cool. People like that absolutely do my head in. Oh, God.
09:24So I think there needs to be two groups, who's going to the cellar and who's going to the lake.
09:31Good idea. We want to get as much blended wines as we can, because that's where the money is.
09:35Yeah, absolutely. Also important to notice is that we get money from just the red wine alone.
09:44Yeah. OK, so who's going to the lake? Put your hand up and then we can be really clear about it.
09:49So four are going wine tasting and nine are going to the lake.
09:52OK, let's go. Go, go, go. Woo-hoo. Bye.
10:10For nine players, it's a trip to the Estates Lake.
10:13I'm going to say, like, if you need my attention, just shout.
10:16Oh, yeah. I'm just going to scream in it. Yes. Being a gamer, I can be quite awkward socially,
10:21especially now that I haven't really been around human beings for the last three years.
10:24I'm a bad listener. I'm working on it. Oh, I'm in the digital realm 24-7.
10:30I'm better with animals and plants than I am with people right now. So that's going to be a bit of a challenge.
10:37Off to the deceased cellars. Emma, Pat, Hannah and James are in pursuit of red wine.
10:43They're about to get into freezing cold water and we're off to taste wine.
10:46There's only four of us that have gone wine tasting, but we could actually look pretty good
10:51that we're able to do half the task with just four of us and they need nine people to do the other half.
10:56Well done to us all for choosing the right one.
10:59Oh, is that the lake? Oh, God.
11:02I put myself forward to be one of the swimmers. We are going to get wet, ladies. That is for sure.
11:08I'm backing myself all day long. I'm really strong.
11:12Yeah, do it.
11:14Most of the group looked like they couldn't get their feet wet without causing an issue.
11:18My feet are socking. So I'm getting my hands on that money.
11:22Run like a gazelle.
11:24To make the most money, they'll need the white wine, essential for the more lucrative blend.
11:29But to get it, they'll have to brave the cold waters.
11:32It's a bit of a swim.
11:36This way. Oh, my God, it's here. Barrel store.
11:38For the players at the cellars, the way to identify the unspoiled red...
11:42What are we doing?
11:44..is to taste the sample bottles.
11:47You just have to try the best wine.
11:49And then it's going to match... And then match it next door.
11:50..what's next door.
11:52That's vile.
11:54No, that's a bad one.
11:57Guys, so we've got three hours to do this.
11:59We're going to have to make this quick.
12:00You guys need to get changed ASAP.
12:02Yeah.
12:02We're going to stand at the sidelines cheering yous on.
12:04Can you swim?
12:05No. No.
12:06Right. Well, I can, but...
12:07Not today.
12:09I'm just going to have to do the most on land
12:11to make the others think that I'm the leader of the group.
12:15Here comes Cam and Catherine.
12:19It's like walking through soup.
12:22Ah!
12:24Go on, Jessie.
12:26I'm for sure going in that lake.
12:28Because I'm decent at swimming.
12:31And also, it's something that other people don't want to do.
12:34Jessie!
12:35You're doing amazing!
12:38It's a good reason for me to say,
12:39look, you guys don't want to do this.
12:41I did it.
12:42Plus, if I get as many people as I can to think Jessie helped me,
12:45that's going to be better for me.
12:46Cam.
12:48Yeah?
12:49There's one which is attached to four ropes.
12:51I need your help on this.
12:52Right, give me a minute.
12:54Hey, there's a duck here.
12:55I've never actually been outdoor swimming.
12:58I don't go in the sea because I don't trust it.
13:00That's just a duck.
13:01Come on.
13:02But Jessie's straight up onto the pontoon.
13:04He's keen as mustard.
13:06Wait up.
13:06And he just gave everyone sort of boost that we all needed.
13:12Here we go.
13:13Great.
13:14Now we're cooking on gas.
13:15Hang on.
13:17Ah, let's go!
13:18I think one of my biggest challenges in life
13:22would be to overcome my disability.
13:25Growing up with a physical difference,
13:27there's a lot of people that look at you and say things.
13:32I've just kind of learned to not really give up.
13:35This shit has weight to it.
13:38I want to prove that no matter what group I'm in,
13:41what game I'm in, if I really want to do something,
13:44I'll be able to do it.
13:45Woo!
13:46Well done, guys.
13:47Love me.
13:48Well done.
13:49I am really impressed with Jessie.
13:52You know, my initial thoughts on Jessie was,
13:54he's got all this energy.
13:56One, two, three.
13:59But the boy is strong.
14:02Wow.
14:02Come on.
14:03Oh, my God.
14:06Go on, Matt.
14:08Jessie and Cam have already located some wine.
14:10I'm knocking.
14:11Holy shit.
14:12Yeah!
14:14So I just have to assert myself.
14:16They're heavy.
14:16I'm pulling up the ropes.
14:18I finally found the first bit of wine.
14:20Yes!
14:20And then I pull up another crate of wine.
14:22I'm absolutely smashing this right now.
14:25I'm getting everyone's attention.
14:26It's only me that's finding the wine.
14:29Whilst we're waiting for these guys, I'll go in.
14:31Do you want it?
14:32Do you want me to come with you?
14:33OK, guys, that looks like wine.
14:42Right, let's have a sip.
14:43Make sure.
14:44In the cellars...
14:45Just to make sure.
14:46..the task of sampling the red
14:48also requires a strong disposition.
14:50That's the water, that vial.
14:52My God.
14:53What we need to do is empty wine from these barrels
14:58that correspond to the nice-tasting wine in the wine-tasting room.
15:03Mmm.
15:04That not good?
15:04Ah, that's pure vinegar.
15:06Oh, lovely.
15:07I wouldn't even put that on fish and chips.
15:08Oh!
15:09That's not going to be good.
15:10That's vial.
15:12Vial!
15:12You know, if the deceased drank this wine,
15:15I can see exactly why she's deceased.
15:19I'm getting really frustrated.
15:21The clock is ticking and it's just stressing me out.
15:23What, I'm going to have to drill into this?
15:25So I just need to get down and I need to do something physical.
15:30Do you want me to do anything?
15:32I don't know.
15:33I don't want to have to vocalise that I'm a hard worker.
15:35I want people to see it.
15:37So I'm just trying to find some red wine,
15:39even if it's by pure luck.
15:40I'm shattered.
15:41Oh, my gosh.
15:43It's got to be an easy way to do this.
15:46I think I'd rather be in a lake right now.
15:49How much time?
15:51Time!
15:52One hour gone.
15:54It's stuck on the bottom.
15:56It looks like all the lads come,
15:58Jessie, Ferg, and Matt are doing the most here.
16:03Catherine's just out for a leisurely cold water swim
16:06and Zara's just frustrating everyone.
16:08For God's sake.
16:10I'm just going to sit here and mind all the balls.
16:13I want this money.
16:14I want to contribute.
16:15I want to show everyone I can be, you know, I am useful.
16:18I'm out of breath.
16:20Let's go, let's go, let's go.
16:21Leave the balls inside.
16:23Make up the weight.
16:23Wait!
16:24Zara!
16:24Take out the weight!
16:26Fuck no.
16:27I need someone strong to do that.
16:29I'm on the pontoon.
16:30I'm exhausted.
16:31I hear the three cheerleaders, let's just say,
16:35and they're just shouting at me.
16:37Leave the balls inside.
16:39Leave the balls inside.
16:40There's a fucking weight!
16:40Yes, take out the weight!
16:41Shut up!
16:42Shut up!
16:43Shut up!
16:44I'm in a motion right now, let me work.
16:45Shut up, please.
16:47Come into the water!
16:49Zara's being so rude.
16:50She's saying, oh, you guys are not in the water.
16:53Shut up and all of these things.
16:54Why are they placing the bottles like her?
16:57They're falling in the water!
16:58You guys said to put this on here.
17:00If it falls, it's on you.
17:01No, we said take out the weight!
17:03Take the weights out!
17:04There's a tiny hole!
17:05Shut up!
17:07Oh!
17:08Oh, my God, that whole raft is just going to sink.
17:10All those bottles.
17:12I blame Zara.
17:18To release money from the inheritance, the players are taking on their first request,
17:28locating the remnants of the deceased wine and readying it for sale.
17:32That's carped.
17:33I can tell now that's off.
17:34Within an hour and a half until collection and no palatable red wine found.
17:39I'm smiling through it.
17:40I'm in so much pain right now.
17:42The seller team are taking a more direct approach.
17:45It's currently going appallingly and time is definitely against us.
17:49Cheap shit.
17:51So we've sort of thrown the strategy out the window and we're now just frantically trying
17:55to tap into anything we can to find some good wine.
17:58Something is coming out of here.
18:01I don't even know if it's good or bad.
18:04Wow, that doesn't look like wine.
18:06This is not what I was expecting.
18:08No, that smells like rubbish.
18:10This is just basically hard labour.
18:12Emma is dripping with sweat but she's absolutely doing an amazing job.
18:18Come on.
18:19I am absolutely exhausted but I'm running on adrenaline.
18:22We need to find this red wine.
18:24Come on.
18:24I think I'm a really hard worker.
18:27I work long shifts and long days as well and I try my best to do the most I can even if I'm tired.
18:33This is not wine tasting.
18:35I'm here because I've got the opportunity to work hard and be awarded for it financially and that's an
18:41opportunity I will never get again in my life because you don't work as a paramedic for the money.
18:46Woo!
18:48Thanks, chip, chip, chip, chip, chip, chip!
18:50I've got one!
18:51No, it's not.
18:55Yes!
18:56Oh my God, I've never been so happy to see too much of a wine.
19:00Oh God.
19:02Lovely.
19:04Oh my God, I'm sweating so much.
19:07Finally, we've got a breakthrough.
19:08We were just so worried that we were going to be the team
19:10that didn't come back to it with anything.
19:12Right, I'm thinking we're going to need to start wrapping up
19:14to get to bottling, because there's labelling, bottling, wax sealing.
19:19Okay, finding red wine is definitely going to make me
19:23look like I've contributed really well to this request.
19:27Let's go!
19:30Guys, come on, we need to be faster here!
19:33Guys, can we have a hand here?
19:35At the lake, with at least some of the white wine safely acquired,
19:39it's off to the bottling station.
19:41Come on, Matt!
19:42Well, I'm buzzing the fact that I'm responsible
19:44for actually getting all the wine out of the lake.
19:46Guys, we need to go!
19:47Oh, yeah.
19:48Yes, there's one or two that helped us along the way.
19:50All right, guys!
19:51Yes!
19:52Well done!
19:53I have literally got myself in a position
19:55where I've done most of the work in a freezing cold lake.
19:58All right, we're here.
20:00Down.
20:02I've got first.
20:03Woo!
20:04Done.
20:06Is everyone doing something?
20:08Yes.
20:09Guys, I'm on opening bottle duty.
20:13What are you guys up to?
20:14I'm corking.
20:15Yeah.
20:16With the red and white wine collected,
20:17the players must follow instructions
20:18to make the high-value blended wine
20:20and bottle any remaining red.
20:22Then they're taking them away to wax them.
20:24Before labelling, corking...
20:25Got it.
20:27Perfect.
20:28Right.
20:29You ready?
20:30...and waxing each bottle for collection.
20:33Guys, the red wine is here.
20:35We need more red wine in these bottles.
20:37I do believe in myself and I do believe that I'm indestructible.
20:41My mother's life, I've put exactly 1,000 on every single one of them.
20:44OK?
20:45I've got to be a bit wary about Jesse because he's no pushover.
20:48Being efficient here.
20:50But I've got the skills to knock them all down.
20:53Without a doubt.
20:54I'm really good with sticking stuff.
20:57Do you know what I've realised?
20:58If you do it towards the bottom of the buttock...
21:00Uh-huh.
21:01...you don't get bubbles.
21:02OK.
21:03There's a bubble in that one, guys.
21:04There's a bubble in this one.
21:05It's going to fail.
21:06It's not sticking on properly.
21:08So I think we should take it off and put it back on.
21:10I don't want to risk it because I went into the water and did so much.
21:13This is going to be a fail.
21:14Why is that a fail?
21:15Because, look, it's not the same level.
21:17Yes, all you have to do is pour a bit more in.
21:18Yes, so that's why we're communicating with each other.
21:21You're the only one not officially communicating.
21:24I'm just going to rest now because you guys need to cork it
21:26and I don't know how to cork it.
21:27If you're good on the labels, I think you should stay on the labels then, Zara.
21:30Zara dropped the labels to go and insert herself somewhere
21:34which she doesn't need to be.
21:35Walking around looking busy instead of actually being busy.
21:39I see through you.
21:41I've got other things to do.
21:42You're doing literally nothing else, but I'm doing all of this.
21:44I have done a lot.
21:45Yeah.
21:46Actually, thank you very much.
21:47Yeah.
21:48Actually, instead of talking, maybe you should help.
21:50That's exactly what I'm doing.
21:51No, you're not.
21:52You're just walking around talking.
21:53You actually really should.
21:55I'm doing the tasks I was meant to do.
21:57All right.
21:58Talk, talk, talk, talk.
21:59Okay.
22:00Oh.
22:01Drama.
22:02Bitch.
22:03At this point, my blood is starting to boil
22:06because I don't need to listen to you.
22:08Who's labeled you as team leader?
22:10Not me.
22:11I'm being told I'm doing absolutely nothing by that Tia chick.
22:13Hey, hey, hey, listen.
22:14You're doing plenty.
22:15I'm pissed off because I was in the water, I was exhausted,
22:17and I'm not going to cry, but I'm just like...
22:18No, you're not.
22:19Calm down.
22:20What an absolute cow.
22:21She's a bitch.
22:22The van is literally ten minutes away.
22:26So we need to get on the move on.
22:28This is the last stretch.
22:29Yeah.
22:31We need to take all these bottles down to load them up.
22:34Otherwise, we're not going to get any on the van.
22:36Trust in the process.
22:37Trust in the process.
22:38We need to get everything to the entrance of the house
22:41where the van is.
22:42Oh, you're joking.
22:43Right, leave it, leave it, leave it.
22:44Let's go.
22:45I'm carrying this crate with one hand,
22:47and they're walking with a trolley.
22:49Oh, my God.
22:50These are so heavy.
22:51We've left the red wine behind,
22:53but we've still got a lot of money there.
22:55Um, what's this about red wine that no one has said anything about?
22:58Anyone?
22:59No.
23:00No.
23:01No.
23:02No.
23:03No.
23:04No.
23:05No.
23:06No.
23:07Anyone?
23:08I'm a bit confused,
23:09because no one else seems to think that this red wine
23:12is something that we should be focusing on.
23:13Why have they ditched us?
23:14I don't know.
23:15I don't know how we have managed to get so much fucking red wine.
23:18And all of a sudden, it's just me and James that are left here.
23:21Seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve.
23:25Right.
23:26To get all of the red wine that can potentially bring us money.
23:30Oh!
23:31You guys!
23:32Oh, my gosh.
23:33You guys are amazing.
23:34Yeah, this is my start to create a red.
23:35There's eleven.
23:36There's eleven.
23:37Oh, you're joking!
23:38We counted twelve.
23:39Yeah, there was twelve.
23:40Was there twelve?
23:41For a full crate.
23:42We'll go.
23:43We'll go back then.
23:44Ah!
23:45What a runner!
23:46Fair play to Jessie though.
23:47Yeah.
23:48Go get it, bud.
23:49Go get it.
23:50Who left this here?
23:53I need to wax this.
23:54Where's everyone else, man?
23:56I smoked them.
23:57This is actually good for me, where I can step in and show these people that I'm in it to help the group.
24:02Yay!
24:03Is there anything?
24:04You gonna do the lap?
24:05Nah, I'll take it.
24:06I'll take it all the way.
24:07Okay, go!
24:08There's people saying, oh, I can help.
24:09I can take it from here.
24:10I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
24:11I'm gonna be the person to get this last bottle.
24:15Yay!
24:16Yay!
24:17Well done!
24:18Last one.
24:19What a chef, lad.
24:20Come on.
24:21Well done, buddy.
24:22Oh, he's wet through.
24:23Bless him.
24:24Yay!
24:25Well done, everyone!
24:26Yay!
24:27Well done, everyone!
24:28Yay!
24:29Well done, everyone!
24:30Yay!
24:31Well done!
24:32Oh!
24:33Oh!
24:34What now?
24:35Yay!
24:36Well done, everyone!
24:37Yay!
24:38Well done!
24:39Oh!
24:40Oh!
24:41Oh!
24:42Oh!
24:43What now?
24:45Not more!
24:46Please!
24:47Players.
24:48You all right?
24:49You've completed your first request.
24:50Woo!
24:51Come on!
24:52Woo!
24:53It was fascinating.
24:57Some of you are more assertive than a Malbec.
25:01Others had more of a table wine quality.
25:06Nevertheless, the wine has been collected.
25:08And I'll calculate how much you've earned.
25:10Now, later you face an important decision.
25:13Because collectively, it'll be down to you to decide who gets that money.
25:18So who deserves it?
25:21Or at least, who thinks they have the skill to persuade their fellow players that they do?
25:27I do think I'm deserving of that money.
25:29I was in the lake.
25:30I was in the bottling area.
25:31I dipped my toes into every single little bit.
25:34I had a great team behind me.
25:36They all saw how hard I was working.
25:38My concern is that because other people didn't see it, they might not vote for me.
25:45Players, you may now re-enter the house.
25:47I'm sure you've got much to discuss.
25:50I just have to think on my feet.
25:51And if I can persuade those other players that I'm better than these people next to me,
25:55then I'm going to get my hands on that money.
26:04It's a day of firsts.
26:05You two look incredible tonight.
26:08So do you.
26:10The first request.
26:11The first money released from the inheritance.
26:14And soon, the very first division ceremony.
26:17I 100% seen how hard you worked and would back you all the way.
26:21Yeah.
26:22My worry is that Jesse, he's going to be high in people's lists.
26:26I know that Jesse worked hard, but I'm here to be acknowledged for what I have done.
26:31So I think whilst I've got this opportunity, I might as well go all in.
26:34No point playing it safe.
26:36Tonight, the 13 must decide who contributed most in the request.
26:41That player will become the first prime beneficiary and will inherit all the money earned today.
26:46If you put yourself there.
26:47Yeah.
26:48I'm not going to.
26:49You'll have my vote.
26:50Okay.
26:57It's said that money changes people.
26:59We are about to find out just how much.
27:07Oh.
27:08Oh my God.
27:09Oh my God, guys.
27:10God, I'm so nervous.
27:11Let's see how the cookie crumbles.
27:16Oh.
27:19Time to light those fireworks.
27:22Let's face the music.
27:30I feel like what is fair is for me to be one of the people that are a contender.
27:35But there's probably going to be other people that think the same.
27:38And I might be overlooked.
27:41I'm thinking I could have a bit of an alliance with Matt.
27:45I can see that he is a strong player in this.
27:48I actually single-handedly earn quite a bit of the money.
27:58My concern is everybody else saw how hard Jessie and Matt were working.
28:02And I know it's going to be really difficult to convince the others as how hard I was working.
28:07If Zara puts herself forward for the money, this is going to really show people that she is not a team player and self-centered.
28:18I think it's going to come to blows tonight.
28:20I can feel a lot of tension in the room.
28:23I can't wait.
28:24I can't wait.
28:25I can't wait.
28:26I can't wait.
28:28DIVISION CEREMONY
28:58In this room, you'll decide who will receive all of today's money.
29:06Today you've successfully released £5,600 from the inheritance,
29:14which sits inside that money box.
29:19However, there was over £20,000 available to you today.
29:23Some of that wine is still on the bottom of the lake.
29:30Some of it you managed to bottle but left behind.
29:33£3,000 worth, actually.
29:35£5,600 is not to be sniffed at.
29:41Somebody here will get their hands on all of that money.
29:46To do so, those who think they contributed most must step forward as a claimant.
29:57The rest of you will become a jury.
30:01So, do you have the courage to stake your claim to the inheritance or not?
30:12Oh, hell no.
30:18It is really brave to put yourself forward on day one, and I am just not that brave.
30:24I need more time, don't we?
30:30Today, I feel like I am the most valuable player.
30:33Therefore, I'm going to put myself in the spotlight.
30:36But I am feeling a bit nervous because I'm thinking, what am I going to say?
30:40I'm super confident, I'm backing myself, and I'm hopefully going to get my hands on that box.
30:57I'm looking at Jessie and Matt, and my heart is sinking because everybody saw how hard they were working.
31:03I just hope people actually see that I did a lot.
31:10I can't believe Zara is sat up there.
31:20The audacity, the absolute audacity.
31:26I contributed a lot, but because of how I got into a little bit of a fight with Tia,
31:31it's going to be a little uncomfortable for us both, but bring it on.
31:39Jessie.
31:40Matt, Emma, and Zara, you are the claimants.
31:46The rest of you are now the jury.
31:51It's down to all of you to decide who you think should get the money.
31:57You may begin.
32:02Well, I think you should explain why you think you deserve it.
32:07Anyone want to start?
32:08I...
32:08I don't mind starting.
32:12Go on.
32:13Um, not a lot of you were there at the tasting part,
32:18so I'm just going to have to explain kind of what I did there.
32:22It wasn't wine tasting like you thought, and I had to physically use a manual drill to open the barrels.
32:32Myself and James also managed to get a whole crate of red wine in about ten minutes and brought it to the front of the house.
32:39The effort that you two must have gone to rush to get those done.
32:43I was dripping in sweat throughout that whole thing.
32:46We didn't have...
32:47We didn't have an entire crate.
32:49I'm going to interject there because there was a lot of wheels to what was going on here.
32:54Like I said, I appreciate not everyone was there to see how hard I was working,
32:58but I'm hoping that the amount of red wine that we arrived with would show that.
33:03Thank you, Emma.
33:04Jesse, why should you become a prime beneficiary?
33:06Um, so, reason why I put myself forward, um, sorry, I was just going to...
33:15Um, let me just try and regain my thoughts.
33:18Um, so, starting off, um, was one of the first people to get into the water at the wine station.
33:31As soon as I got there, I saw all the wine bottles that we got from the lake were all still bottled.
33:36I unbottled all of them by myself.
33:39I then helped transport the crates.
33:42That's when we then realised that all the wine bottles that we brought, we were one short.
33:47I'm here thinking we need one more wine bottle.
33:51I'm going to sprint this.
33:52I try to run with you and give you support from afar.
33:56When I got my mind on something, I'm there putting it 100% into it.
33:59Yeah.
34:00The way I see it, though, I think everybody did a brilliant job, but Matt was the key.
34:06None of us could have pulled that wine out of that pontoon.
34:10The weight of it...
34:11It was heavy.
34:12Without that, none of this.
34:15Hang on, can I interject, please?
34:18Of course you can.
34:18You can't turn around and say, without the white wine, there'd have been nothing,
34:22because you needed the red wine as well.
34:26Credit to Emma.
34:27She never stopped.
34:29I didn't stop.
34:32Matt, it's over to you.
34:33Why should you become the prime beneficiary?
34:36OK.
34:37Jesse, effort and productivity are two different things.
34:42My input was probably a little bit more beneficial to the group, because had I not been in the
34:48positions in the water to get the majority of the wine, probably 75% of the wine, was down
34:54to me, I certainly myself was straight on to making the mix, and then it was back to fill
35:00up the red wine, because that was just not where it should have been as well, so I was
35:05doing that as well.
35:07That was transportation, and I was loading and quality assurance.
35:11I mean, every single part that I touched was the whole game.
35:15Without me, I don't think we'd have done as well in the task.
35:21Thank you, Matt.
35:22Zara.
35:24I feel like I'm showing off now by saying all the things that I did, but I mean, we're
35:27doing that.
35:28That's what we've done.
35:29I did so much, you don't even understand how much I did.
35:34So, us lake people, let's just say, we went into the lake.
35:38I've dipped my toes into every little single thing.
35:42I tried labelling, so I felt like everything was on me.
35:45Sorry, can I just interject?
35:46Yeah.
35:47I think there's a difference between doing something and doing something effectively.
35:51I think you actually hindered the labelling process.
35:55Interesting.
35:56I didn't realise that.
35:57What do you want to say?
35:58Do you want to just...
35:59When somebody is chatting out their arse, I have to stop them.
36:03Where we were there, you've done a maximum of three labels.
36:09If that's what you were, were you just standing there looking at me the whole time?
36:11No, because I was in the mix.
36:13You don't need to get so defensive at me.
36:16At the lake, Zara decided that she wanted to take one bottle of wine out of the thing
36:21each.
36:21And all we're saying is, Zara, stop.
36:23No, I've got witnesses.
36:24I took them out, you guys.
36:24I'll put them back in.
36:25Put them back in.
36:25Take them out.
36:26Okay, take them out.
36:26Okay.
36:27I didn't see Zara going to put the bottles back in once.
36:29I mean, have you got binoculars?
36:30Or have you got supersonic eyesight?
36:32I have 20-20 vision.
36:33You wouldn't know because you're not optician.
36:35I did basic, honey.
36:35But yet you couldn't see us or hear what we were signing.
36:38I want to say, like, I'm a simpleton.
36:40Like, I'm just going to say it.
36:41So I can take orders easily, but, like, you have to kind of make it connect the dots for
36:45me.
36:45No, but we were trying to, Zara, about you.
36:47I get it, but we were trying to explain, and then you told Tia to shut up.
36:50You wasn't trying to listen.
36:51Can I finish talking?
36:52Because I heard exactly what you just said.
36:53Now you're repeating it again.
36:54Yeah, because you said you're a simpleton, so I'm making it clear for you.
36:57Everybody else I've had contact with just got on with it.
37:02I can count on two hands, and I need some more of how much time you came over to me.
37:07You enjoyed the Zara show, and you sitting at this position just shows how much of a selfish
37:12player you are.
37:13And here's the thing.
37:14Can I just say something to Tia?
37:15No, if you're going to cry, you pick to go in the...
37:17Can I not talk?
37:19Please!
37:19Players, players, players.
37:21Decorum, please.
37:22You shouldn't have put yourself there.
37:23Decorum, please.
37:24This is the deceased's house.
37:26Sorry.
37:27I'm sorry.
37:33That concludes this part of the division ceremony.
37:37Members of the jury, it's now for you to decide who you think should be the prime beneficiary.
37:43How you arrive at your decision is up to you as a group.
37:47Claimants, let us leave and await the decision of the jury.
37:51I've never seen crocodile tears like that in my life.
38:00Those were on cue, crocodile tears.
38:06Can I suggest that we start literally and go around each person and say what we feel?
38:12Then we can make a decision.
38:14And put our hands up who we would pick.
38:16And go with a majority vote.
38:17Is everyone happy with that?
38:18Let's do that.
38:19This is a diplomatic society.
38:23Why don't we start with Zara then?
38:27Zara had quite a lot to say there.
38:29I think there was a lot of running around looking busy and not really being busy.
38:32Yeah, I was going to echo that.
38:34I can't.
38:34I personally can't vote for it.
38:36The looking busy bit, she wanted to make up for what was lost to the lake.
38:39She knew what she was doing.
38:40I've got to talk for Emma.
38:45There was only four of us.
38:46So the rest of you have no idea what that girl did.
38:50She put everything into it.
38:52The red could have been sold alone.
38:54The white couldn't have.
38:55So I think she was a really crucial cog in the wheel.
38:58Everyone who's down at the wine cellar have all been pushing for Emma.
39:02So I'm really hoping Emma will actually be able to get this.
39:08Shall we move on to Jesse?
39:09Perfect.
39:11Jesse gave a really good performance.
39:14He was absolutely incredible doing a little triathlon of his own.
39:17Yeah.
39:17The only reason I've not put myself up was because of Jesse's behaviour and how he brought us together as a team.
39:23It's weird because I didn't see that.
39:25It's more in my interest to form an alliance with Jesse.
39:29If I can support him, he can support me too.
39:32Jesse was brilliant.
39:34To me, Matt held it together.
39:38We were all cogs and he was a key.
39:41I do feel like he worked hard.
39:43If we didn't have Matt, we wouldn't have had...
39:46I agree.
39:47Hardly any of that wine.
39:49I saw what Matt did today.
39:51He absolutely gave it everything.
39:59So, guys, hands high.
40:02Would anyone like to pick Zara?
40:05I did buttheads with Tia.
40:08Possibly Hafsa.
40:10Which I hope I'm not going to regret.
40:12You, Tia?
40:13Thoughts for Emma.
40:19Right now, I feel sick.
40:24I've really put myself on the line to get Prime Beneficiary.
40:28And maybe I didn't put myself across as best I could.
40:31Who's voting for Jesse?
40:34Put your hands up.
40:39It's the first one and I've messed up.
40:41I feel like now there's no chance that it's going to be me.
40:48Hands up if you're voting for Matt.
40:50I feel confident.
40:52I impress the jury.
40:53So, you know, I'm thinking I'm nailed on to get it.
40:56So, we've come to a decision.
41:02Let's do this.
41:26Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, have you reached a decision?
41:38Yes.
41:39Yes.
41:39Yes.
41:40Very well.
41:43This person is about to inherit every single penny in that box.
41:50The jury has chosen Jesse as Prime Beneficiary.
42:20Well done, Jesse.
42:24I guess I don't know what to say.
42:29Jesse, you've inherited £5,600.
42:33That's a lot of money.
42:35It's now time to go to the strong room.
42:42Here, in private, you've got a very big decision to make.
42:48Under the terms of the will, you may keep all of that money.
42:57Or gift as much as half to the jury.
43:02If he was being smart, he would divide some amongst the jury to bring some people on side.
43:11I think it's only right that if the jury is giving you the opportunity to be the Prime Beneficiary, that you thank and reward them for that.
43:18Matt, Matt, Emma, and Zara.
43:25As a failed claimants, you cannot be gifted any money tonight.
43:29I'm getting nothing, like nothing at all, for all that hard work I've put in.
43:37I'm so disappointed, but it is high risk, high reward.
43:45Jesse, please collect the inheritance and come with me to the strong room.
43:50Well done, Jesse.
43:51The rest of you are free to leave.
43:54See you guys in a bit.
43:55I just hope that he does the right thing.
44:13So, what do we think Jesse is going to do?
44:15If he's going to keep it all, or...?
44:17Zara, you and I, unfortunately, we're out of this one.
44:19It's really put a twist in it, hasn't it?
44:21I'm feeling like the man right now.
44:31Today, I came on top.
44:41Jesse, welcome to the strong room.
44:45This is where the deceased stored her wealth, and it'll now be where you store yours.
44:50Come on!
44:51Yes!
44:53You've inherited £5,600 from the will.
44:57You've got a decision to make.
44:59You may gift up to half of it to any of the members of the jury.
45:03You can, of course, decide to keep it all.
45:06But before you make your choice, I've got a message from the deceased.
45:10Good evening, darling.
45:23Congratulations!
45:25It looks like you are the first here.
45:27You won't be the last, though, so don't go popping my vintage champagne just yet.
45:32But you now have to decide what is fair.
45:38You may be one of those even-steven kinds of people.
45:41Heaven forbid.
45:43Or, like me, you may think what's mine is, well, mine.
45:49What's it to be, darling?
45:51Are all players created equal, or are some more equal than others?
45:57Ciao for now.
45:58£5,600 on the table.
46:03That's a lot of money.
46:04That's a lot of money.
46:05That's a lot of money!
46:07Now, Jesse, whether you choose to disclose what happens in this room is entirely up to you.
46:14Understood.
46:15You can keep it all.
46:16I'll gift up to half of it to members of the jury.
46:19He could literally come back and say he's shared the money between all of us.
46:23How do we know if he's telling the truth?
46:25I came in dead set on voting for Jesse.
46:28I was putting forward a really valid argument, so I'm hoping that he is going to share some of his money with us.
46:37If he takes all the money tonight, pretty much going forward, it's going to be every man for himself in this game.
46:44Jesse's going to be the person that sets the tone for the rest of us.
46:49Oh, that's actually my name! That's it!
46:52Look, have a smell.
46:53It is a lot of responsibility and a lot of power as well.
47:01But what's fair was good for myself.
47:05It's now time to decide.
47:07At the end of the day, the game is the game.
47:12This decision will change everything.
47:14I may be dead, but I'm not done.
47:25Guys, there's £10,000 online.
47:27And so far, we're going to get about a tenner.
47:29Good evening, old-fashioned.
47:32Zara, come on.
47:33You need to really get involved here.
47:35Come on now.
47:36Remember to be the best, or at least make others think you are.
47:41If one of us puts ourselves up, nobody else.
47:44There's an alliance.
47:45They are pouring the money into their own team.
47:47Welcome to the division ceremony.
47:48Not everybody's being truthful.
47:50It's true.
47:52I pretty much don't want anyone for the rest of the game.
47:54We have a snake in the room.
47:55It's scandalous.
47:56The deceased never intended this game to be so fair and so lovely.
48:02Are you being dramatic to make yourself centre of attention?
48:05I never require attention.
48:06It comes to me naturally.
48:08The person you collectively appoint will have control over the £100,000.
48:13Which of these players will be cut from the will?
48:16Fair in a game like this?
48:19It's not worth the paper it's written on.
48:23I know it's nothing to do with anything,
48:25but Rob Rinder's tailoring is on point.
48:27See more tomorrow at nine.
48:29Now, something else that's brand new.
48:31Honestly, can't move for all the newness round here.
48:33The Bake Off's back.
48:34That starts Tuesday at eight.
48:36Next, tonight, and also new,
48:39the jury, Australia.
