00:09at the Mariel Special Development Zone in Cuba with arrival of the Venezuelan

00:12vessel Manuel Gual which carried food and other essential goods to the

00:16Caribbean island. The new route is part of the regional bloc strategy to promote

00:20the economic development of its members as well as their food sovereignty. It

00:24also represents a response to the deployment of US military forces in the

00:28Caribbean as well as to Washington's disinformation campaign to justify its

00:33provocative actions against the Bolivarian nation.
