00:05triumph of the Cuban Revolution on January 1, 1959.
00:09Through a statement the movement expressed from the Sierra Maestra under the immortal
00:14leadership of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, that generation ignited the sacred fire
00:20of emancipation that transcended Cuba's borders and became an ethical and political stone
00:28for popular struggles across the continent.
00:30The communique continues, 67 years later, the Cuban Revolution remains a relevant example
00:35of consistency, resilience and loyalty to the principles of social justice, even in the
00:41face of the criminal blockade, unilateral coercive measures and the disinformation campaigns.
00:47It also concludes, the people of Alba recognize in the Cuban Revolution a common root of their
00:52struggle where Bolivar, Martí, Sandino and Chávez converge and reaffirmed their unwavering
00:59commitment of solidarity with the brotherly people and government of Cuba.
