00:00How do you feel about the roster that the U.S. has put?
00:03Is Pochettino doing the right thing,
00:06or is he getting himself in trouble with the U.S. fans?
00:09That's already the case, or at least has been.
00:12But we'll have to see, because what's happening is pretty interesting.
00:15A lot of people have been surprised.
00:16We're seeing notable names, notable players left out of the starting XI
00:20for this run-up to the World Cup.
00:22McKenna McKenzie, Matt Turner in goal not there, Gio Reyna.
00:26But we have some other players who are returning who haven't been with us,
00:29most notably Mr. Pulisic, who's been off for a little while
00:33through some tournaments he didn't play.
00:35And then Zendejas we were talking about earlier as well.
00:38So we're going to have to see how these guys are plugged in with WEA.
00:41And so it's going to be interesting.
00:43Time is going to tell, though.
00:44Am I surprised? Am I angry?
00:46I think there's been a lot of reaction online.
00:48But me, I'm an LA Galaxy fan, so I feel nothing these days.
00:52My soul has been destroyed. Things can't get worse.
00:54So I'm just kind of like, let's see what happens.
00:56I feel good about it. I think it's going to be interesting.
00:59My concern right now is that this should be the most exciting time
01:05in history for the U.S. soccer.
01:07We are about to have a World Cup in American soil.
01:11And yet, the thermometer of excitement seems pretty low.
01:15The interest in the national team is at its lowest.
01:19So many are worried that this might be a debacle for the U.S. team
01:24and for soccer in the U.S. at large, right, guys?
01:27But there is a chance that Pochettino is doing his magic.
01:31He claims that the MLS is more competitive than some European leagues.
01:38I don't know about that, Pochettino, but the reality is that some of these players
01:42might do what it takes to be in the World Cup.
01:45And they might have the level to do something for the U.S.
01:48And it should be said.
01:49I mean, this is the starting level to the run-up to the World Cup.
01:52He's letting a lot of these players do their thing at Juve, in Europe.
01:56What we're seeing is actually a good problem to have.
01:58We have a lot of players on our squad who are doing great things over in Europe.
02:01That wasn't the case before.
02:02And just to add to that, let's not forget, before, there was no American players in Europe.
02:07And they were still able to do decent World Cups.
02:10So relax, people from the Mexican national team, from the U.S. national team.
02:14They know what they're doing.
02:15The World Cup, once you're there in that stage, I think the players,
02:19they just transform to another level.
02:21And they know what is it that they have to do to make their country proud.
