00:00Has this savage heard of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and of our true mission to save their souls?
00:15This is a Bible. It contains the words of God, which we are bringing to enlighten the darkness of their world.
00:24Has he understood that in this book are stored the words of God?
00:34You may hold it, my son.
00:42He says he does not speak.
00:46Kill him for his blasphemy!
00:54The way will be hard. These savages are difficult to convince.
01:08Or remove the World Trade Center from the New York City skyline.
01:13The net is made up of some 12,000 individual computer networks.
01:19Internet began back in 1969. It was a tool of the Pentagon.
01:22One, two, three, four, four.
01:28On the mark, get set.
01:31We're riding on the internet.
01:34Cyberspace, set free.
01:37Hello, virtual reality.
01:39Interactive appetite, searching for a website.
01:42A window to the world, got to get online.
01:44Take the spin, now you're in with the techno set.
01:46You're going surfing on the internet.
01:47It's another day in the life of the Jamesons, maybe a family a little bit like yours.
01:59Except, it's not really just another day.
02:02Today's the day I'm taking my family surfing around the world on the internet.
02:06Why, we'll see dinosaurs, order baseball tickets,
02:09even plan our family's vacation to Disney World.
02:11It's cool.
02:12That's finally installed the internet on our home computer.
02:15Now I can surf the net anytime I want.
02:18Not just during my one-hour computer class at school.
02:21Take the spin, now you're in with the techno set.
02:24You're going surfing on the internet.
02:28The superintendent has afforded a condemned and opportunity to make a last statement.
02:34He has declined to make a last statement.
02:37Are you ready to tell him?
02:38He has afforded the opportunity for prayer.
02:41He declined this also.
02:43No more bullets?
02:45Hey, laughing boy, no more bullets.
02:48No more bullets?
02:50Here, let me see that thing.
02:53Hmm.
02:55Well, what do you know?
02:56One bullet weft.
02:58One bullet weft?
03:00Hey, laughing boy, there was...
03:02I know, I know!
03:03I'm laughing because this is one of about ten stories that I know you've covered,
03:08um, where the government shows preference to people who have shown absolute contempt for our
03:14customs, our laws, our system itself, and they're being treated better than American citizens.
03:19Now, I know that the left and all the little gatekeepers on Twitter become literally hysterical
03:24If you use the term replacement, if you suggest that the Democratic Party is trying to replace the current electorate,
03:32the voters now casting ballots, with new people, more obedient voters from the third world.
03:36Tarrant claims to be the author of a 74-page manifesto titled The Great Replacement, a reference to The Great Replacement and White Genocide Conspiracy Theories.
03:50It's said that the attacks were planned two years prior, and the location was selected three months prior.
03:57Minutes before the attacks began, the manifesto was emailed to more than 30 recipients, including the Prime Minister's Office and several media outlets, and links were shared on Twitter and 8chan.
04:11Seven minutes after Tarrant sent the email containing the manifesto to Parliament, it was forwarded to the Parliament security team, who instantly called the Police Communication Center.
04:26At 1.40 p.m., around the same time, the first 1-1-1 calls were made from Al-Nur Mosque.
04:32In the manifesto, several anti-immigrant sentiments are expressed, including hate speech against migrants, white supremacist rhetoric, and calls for all non-European immigrants in Europe, who he claimed to be invading his land, to be removed.
04:51The manifesto displays neo-Nazi symbols, such as the Black Sun and the Odin's Cross.
04:56The author denies being a Nazi, describing himself as an ethno-nationalist, and an eco-fascist, and a kebab removalist, in reference to a meme exalting the genocide of Bosnian Muslims that occurred during the Bosnian War.
05:16To that moment in court, making global headlines tonight, a convicted war criminal suddenly drinking poison, and then shouting a message to the judge.
05:23Standing silent, this Haig judge telling Slobodan Praljak his 20-year sentence for war crimes during the Bosnian War would be upheld.
05:33Mr. Praljak, you may be seated.
05:36His response, shocking.
05:38Stop, please.
05:41The 72-year-old lifting a small brown bottle to his lips, swallowing poison for all the world to see, before saying calmly to the courtroom, I have taken poison.
05:50We suspend police the curtains.
05:53Attempts to save Praljak failed.
05:55He was convicted for his role in a campaign to drive Muslims out of Bosnia, and create an ethnically pure Croat state during the Bosnian War in the 90s.
06:04A hundred thousand died, and more than two million displaced during the three-year war.
06:08The author cites Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik, Dylan Roof, and others.
06:17And the rest are here on here again.
06:21The author said that he agrees with British Union of Fascists leader Oswald Mosley, and that the People's Republic of China was the nation closest to his ideology.
06:34He has also been said to have drawn from the counter-jihad movement, though itself non-violent.
06:42Despite claiming to launch this attack in the name of diversity, he called for the expulsion of people he deemed to be invaders.
06:51From Europe, including but not limited to Roma, Africans, Indians, Turks, and Semitic peoples.
07:11The author says he originally targeted the Alhuda Mosque in Dunedin, but changed his mind after visiting Christchurch because the mosques there contained, quote,
07:24more adults and a prior history of extremism.
07:28In 2014 and 2015, the local press had reported an allegation that a congregation member had been radicalized at the mosque.
07:38Additionally, the shooter also called for the killing of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
07:51The manifesto was described by some media outlets as shitposting, trolling, designed to engender conflict between certain groups and people.
08:02Readers of the manifesto described it as containing deliberately provocative and absurd statements such as sarcastically claiming to have been turned into a killer by violent video games.
08:16Uncle Hank!
08:17Genocide scholar A. Dirk Moses analyzed the manifesto, concluding that Terrence's words yield insights into the subjectivity of genociders more generally, namely that they commit terrorist acts with genocidal intent as, in their own mind, preventative self-defense.
08:39Not as acts of aggression, but, as he writes, a partisan action against an occupying force.
08:48According to Moses, it was hypocritical for Tarrant to complain about supposed white genocide from immigration without recognizing that he himself comes from a settler colony that resulted from genocide against indigenous Australians.
09:05In the manifesto, Tarrant said he hoped mass shootings would cause conflict over gun control in the United States and potentially lead to civil war.
09:16An arm of the Ukrainian Azov movement subsequently disseminated the manifesto, both online and in print.
09:24F**king Nazis.
09:25They were Nazis dude?
09:26Saldırgan Berentin Tarrant camilerden birini arabasıyla gitti.
09:27O sırada Bosna kasabı Karaçici öven Sırp milliyetçiliği propagandası yapan bir şarkı dinliyordu.
09:39At 1.32 p.m., Tarrant started his live stream.
10:02That would last for 17 minutes on Facebook Live, starting with the drive to the Alnora Mosque and ending as he drove away.
10:13Just before the shooting, he played several songs, including Serbia Strong, a Serb nationalist and anti-Muslim song, and the British Grenadiers, a traditional British military marching song.
10:27At 1.39 p.m., Tarrant parked his vehicle in the driveway next to the Alnora Mosque.
10:37He then armed himself with the Mossberg 930 and Windham Weaponry AR-15 rifle before walking towards the mosque.
10:46At 1.40 p.m., Tarrant approached the mosque.
10:49A worshiper greeted him with,
10:50Hello, brother.
10:52Tarrant fired his shotgun nine times towards the front entrance, killing four worshippers.
11:00He then dropped a shotgun and opened fire on people inside with the AR-15 style rifle, killing two other men down a hallway near the entrance and dozens more inside a prayer hall.
11:12A strobe light attached to one of his weapons disoriented victims.
11:19Another worshiper charged at Tarrant and knocked him down, dislodging a magazine from his vest in the process.
11:27But he was then shot several times and fatally wounded.
11:30This worshiper, Naeem Rashid, was posthumously awarded the Nishan E Shujat and the New Zealand Cross, the highest awards of bravery in Pakistan and New Zealand, respectively.
11:42Tarrant fired at worshipers in the prayer hall from close range.
11:53He then went outside where he killed a man, discarded his Windham WW-15 and retrieved a Ruger AR-556 AR-15 from his car.
12:04He went to the mosque's southern gate and killed two people in the car park, sheltering behind vehicles and wounded another.
12:15He re-entered the mosque and shot already wounded people and again went outside where he killed a woman.

12:48Thereupon, Tarrant drove over the deceased woman, leaving six minutes after he arrived
12:56at the mosque.
13:18Thereupon, Tarrant drove over the mosque.
13:48Thereupon, Tarrant drove over the mosque.
14:17Thereupon, Tarrant drove over the enclosed window of his own car as he was driving towards
14:22the Linwood Islamic Center.
14:24At 1.46 p.m., police arrived near the mosque.
14:29Justice Tarrant was leaving, but his car was hidden by a bus, and at the time, no description
14:35of the vehicle had been provided, or that he had left.
14:39He drove eastwards on Bealey Avenue at up to 130 kilometers per hour, 81 miles per hour,
14:47weaving between lanes against oncoming traffic and driving onto a grass median strip.
14:53At 1.51 p.m., just after the live stream had ended, due to a connection interruption, he
15:00aimed a shotgun at the driver of a vehicle on Avonside Drive and attempted to fire it twice,
15:07but it failed to fire on both occasions.
15:10The GoPro device attached to Tarrant's helmet continued recording until he was apprehended
15:16by police eight minutes later.
15:20At 1.52 p.m., Tarrant arrived at the Linwood Islamic Center, five kilometers, three miles
15:27east of the Al-Nor Mosque, where about 100 people were inside.
15:31He parked his vehicle on the mosque's driveway, preventing other cars from entering or leaving.
15:39According to a witness, Tarrant was initially unable to find the mosque's main door, instead
15:46shooting people outside and through a window, killing four and alerting those inside.
15:52A worshiper named Abdul Aziz Wahabzada, that is such a badass name for a badass man, ran outside.
15:59As Tarrant was retrieving another gun from his car, Aziz threw a payment terminal at him.
16:08Tarrant fired back at Aziz, who picked up an empty shotgun that Tarrant had dropped.
16:14He took cover among nearby cars and attempted to draw Tarrant's attention by shouting,
16:19I'm here!
16:21Regardless, Tarrant entered the mosque, where he shot and killed three people.
16:29When Tarrant returned to his car, Aziz confronted him again.
16:35Tarrant removed a bayonet from his vest, but then retreated into his car, instead of attacking
16:41Aziz like a little fucking bitch, knows he can't win if he doesn't have an overpowered
16:45gun doing all the work for him.
16:48Tarrant drove away at 1.55 p.m. with Aziz throwing the shotgun at his car.
16:54Aziz was awarded the New Zealand Cross, New Zealand's highest award for bravery.
17:00Abdul Aziz was at Linwood Mosque, praying with his four sons.
17:05The Australian ran towards the gunshots and confronted the attacker.
17:09I saw there was a dead body with a shotgun there.
17:12And I just grabbed that shotgun, when I pulled the trigger, there was no bullet in it.
17:19Then I called him, I said, look, come on, I'm in the car park, come this way, come this
17:24way.
17:25I just wanted to take his focus out from the mosque and come in the car park, even if I'll
17:29get shot, that's all right, as long as we could save some other life.
17:32The 27-year Sydney resident putting his own life on the line.
17:36Then he just shot me straight away, and the bullet just passed my head.
17:43And that time, there was a car that was parked along the fence, and I just jumped in front
17:48of the car, dug in, and running for my life.
17:53And he would just keep shooting on the cars, in the back of the cars, in case he'd get me.
17:59Then I saw my two sons who saw me shooting at me.
18:02And he said, Daddy, Daddy, please come inside.
18:06I said, you guys go inside, I will be all right.
18:09Actually, my brother is there, and I don't know whether he's safe or not.
18:12Maybe two hours later, police ram what appears to be the killer's car, a suspect dragged out
18:17at gunpoint, taken down, handcuffed.
18:20I saw a father and son, little son, holding one and another.
18:33And I was waiting here, asking people, asking police, if anyone had seen Hustam.
18:51I decided not to cry at that time.
18:58I wanted to be seen strong, to give hope to other people.
19:05But it was taking time, you know, getting late.
19:09Where was she?
19:10Then someone called me.
19:16He said, I saw you in TB, waiting in the cold weather, and you were waiting for Hustam.
19:26But I want to give you the confirmation, that I have seen her, and I can see her now, and
19:40I confirm that she is no longer alive.
19:43And then he said, I want you to go home, and be prepared for the longest night.
20:06She could have run away, she didn't.
20:13And that thing, I can never forget.
20:21On one hand, I feel sad, and I had to lose her.
20:26On the other hand, I feel proud.
20:31She was true in her commitment.
20:36I came home with the biggest responsibility.
20:43How to tell my daughter.
20:46So she came.
20:49And her first question was,
20:52Dad, where is mom?
20:55And I just said it.
20:56I said, she's with God.
21:04Then I said to her, we need a meeting.
21:06So we had a meeting in the kitchen, and I said, you are the leader today, so you will advise
21:14me what to do.
21:16She said, I'm only 15.
21:19I said, doesn't matter.
21:20You are the leader.
21:20My first question, what do we do from now?
21:26We have two options.
21:28Broke and down.
21:32Be miserable.
21:34Or, be resilient.
21:38And move forward.
21:42Which path should we take?
21:43She said, Mr. Farid, I don't want to have a heart that is boiling like a volcano.
21:57That's why I have chosen peace, I have chosen love, and I have forgiven him.
22:02No, I don't have any grudge against him.
22:18This is a letter from our majesty, the queen's office, king Charles, prince William, receiving
22:27the International Peace Award in Abu Dhabi, in the offices of Mr. Donald Trump.
22:35President Trump.
22:36Yeah, Mr. President Donald Trump.
22:40I found that Shifa, me, we were in the same page exactly like Hasna, because after my accident,
22:50that's what she told me.
22:51She said, you know, poor bugger, maybe he had a bad day.
22:57She was smiling, she said, maybe he had a bad day.
23:01But luckily, you know, you are still alive, and that is enough for us.
23:07On Friday outside on the cordon, in the hours following the terrorist attack, Farid spoke
23:12to Newtab, hoping his wife was okay.
23:14I don't know where my wife is, she was in the ladies' room.
23:18The news, the worst he could imagine.
23:20She lost her life, trying to save him.
23:26Tonight, people are paying their respects.
23:29Those who knew her loved her, remembering a woman renowned for kindness of her own.
23:34And despite the terrible act of hatred, Farid Ahmed has found a way to forgive the shooter.
23:40I love him, to be honest.
23:43I think probably he went through some trauma in his life.
23:47Probably he was not loved.
23:49I don't hate him at all.
23:52I don't hate him at all.
23:54Not at all.
23:56Forgiveness, Farid says, is what his wife, Hosmer, would have wanted.
24:00This was a triumph.
24:03I'm making a note here.
24:06Huge success.
24:08It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.
24:16Aperture science.
24:19We do what we must, because we can.
24:23For the good of all of us, except the ones who are dead.
24:31But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
24:35You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
24:38And the science gets done, and you make a neat gun.
24:43For the people who are still alive.
24:46I'm not even angry.
24:55I'm being so sincere right now.
25:01Even though you broke my heart and killed me.
25:07And tore me to pieces.
25:11And threw every piece into a fire.
25:16As they burned, it hurt because I was so happy for you.
25:23Now these points of data make a beautiful line.
25:27And we're out of beta.
25:28We're releasing on time.
25:31So I'm glad I got burned.
25:33Think of all the things we learned.
25:34For the people who are still alive.
25:38Go ahead and leave me.
25:47I think I'd prefer to stay inside.
25:53Maybe you'll find someone else to help you.
25:58Maybe Black Mesa.
26:04That was a joke.
26:06Ha ha.
26:06Fat chance.
26:09Anyway, this cake is great.
26:12It's so delicious and moist.
26:15Look at me still talking when there's science to do.
26:18When I look out there, it makes me glad I'm not you.
26:23I've experiments to run.
26:25There is research to be done.
26:26All the people who are still alive.
26:30And believe me, I am still alive.
26:34I'm doing science and I'm still alive.
26:38I feel fantastic and I'm still alive.
26:42And while you're dying, I'll be still alive.
26:46And when you're dead, I will be still alive.
26:50Still alive.
26:52Still alive.
26:53Still alive.
26:56Still alive.
