00:00Hello and welcome to your latest Rangers Transfer News Bulletin. With just four days off the
00:07window remaining, it's quite evident that Russell Martin, not only is he under severe
00:13pressure to keep his job just 10 games into his reign at Ibrox, but it's quite clear that
00:19his squad is nowhere near in a strong enough position to challenge Celtic at this moment
00:27in time. I think the majority of Rangers fans will feel that the players that have been
00:32brought in so far this summer have yet to really prove that they're better than some
00:38of the players that Rangers have moved on so far this summer. It's quite evident that
00:44Rangers are in desperate need of new recruits across the pitch, in all honesty. At present,
00:52it sounds like a new striker could be on his way to Ibrox with former Aberdeen
00:57hitman Bojan Miofsky, who close to finalising a move to Ibrox from Girona, where he's been
01:06deemed surplus to requirements, which is slightly surprising given how successful he was at
01:14Aberdeen. Of course, earned that move to La Liga just 12 months ago. He is en route to Ibrox
01:21as things stand after a fee was agreed between both clubs believed to be in the region of £2.6 million.
01:31Miofsky, of course, a proven goalscorer, something Rangers will definitely need going forward, given that they're about to lose
01:40Hamza Igaman, on the back of the controversy surrounding his recent antics on the back of that game
01:50against St Mirren at the weekend, where he refused to come on, citing an injury that he picked up in the warm-up,
01:56which we now know was no longer the case. I'm quite clear that he had one eye on the transfer window.
02:04Since then, Lille, the French club have been in pursuit of Igaman for several months now, and they have agreed a deal with Rangers,
02:16believed to be around £10.4 million, that will see him head to the French club going forward.
02:26He, Igaman, jetted out to Brussels yesterday and has successfully passed his medicals, so that is only a matter of time
02:34before he is officially unveiled as a Leo player. And at present, there still remains interest in Cyril Dessers,
02:41who is now being linked with a move to Panathinaikos. Interesting comments from Russell Martin at the weekend,
02:47suggesting that Dessers has kind of made it clear to him where he believes his future lies,
02:55and they've had numerous discussions about Dessers and whether or not it would be in his best interest to move on from Rangers,
03:03given he's been a real enigma, one that's been heavily criticised by some side of the club's fan base.
03:13Whereas others believe he's, you look at his goalscoring contribution and he might frustrate the life out of you at times,
03:20but certainly a decent goalscorer on his day and some believe that Rangers need to keep hold of him going forward.
03:28Time will tell whether or not he is a Rangers player over the next, beyond Monday's deadline.
03:35Potential other outgoings, Rabi Matonzo, who is quite hard to believe he's actually still on the books of Rangers,
03:42given his lack of involvement in a Rangers jersey for some time.
03:47Nadine Bajrami, he's another one who's been linked with moves to Sevilla in La Liga,
03:53and also Udinese are interested in him at this moment of time.
03:58Rangers will hope for other incomings as well at this moment in time, of course.
04:02They brought in Jadon Magoma on loan from Brentford to fill the left-back position,
04:06given that they moved on Robbie Fraser, Jephte and Rydvan Yilmaz.
04:11They're still kind of relatively short in that area, so whether or not they seek more defensive cover remains to be seen.
04:18One thing's for sure, there will definitely be more incomings at Rangers over the next couple of days.
04:27Salim Alama is the latest name to be linked with the club.
04:32He currently plays for Valencia, attacking midfielder, capped 37 times by Morocco.
04:40He spent the majority of last season on loan at Real Vallaudolid in the Spanish top flight.
04:46He's been linked with a move to Rangers, as has Youssef Czermitti, the 21-year-old who cost Everton £12.5 million,
04:56is the latest name to be linked.
04:58He is another striking option that Russell Martin is looking to get on board.
05:04At present, not part of the first-team picture at Everton, according to a couple of reports.
05:12Over the last couple of days, Rangers are currently in talks with the Toffees over a potential loan deal for the striker.
05:21It remains to be seen.
05:22It's unlikely, I'd imagine, at this stage that that will turn into an option to buy.
05:30Czermitti, who signed for Everton from Sporting Lisbon back in 2023, is yet to really establish himself as a regular starter.
05:37And he might hope that if he does arrive at Rangers, it will be an opportunity and a platform for him to certainly kick on and build on his career.
05:48So, plenty of transfer of business expected at Rangers over the next couple of days.
05:52So, fans can expect plenty of movement, both incomings and outgoings.
