00:00You know what else is kind of crazy?
00:01The San Francisco Giants played in 12 runs,
00:03one more than the New York Yankees got yesterday
00:05in a 12-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs.
00:09The Cubs played in three runs in the second inning off Wizenhut.
00:11Okay, the Cubs are finally back on offense.
00:13They didn't score the rest of the way.
00:15And then you saw San Francisco score three times in the bottom of the third,
00:18three times in the bottom of the fifth,
00:19three times in the bottom of the sixth,
00:21and then just tacking on in the seventh and eight innings.
00:2313 hits for the Giants offense, 12 runs scored.
00:26Colin Ray, not a great pitcher.
00:28Four and two-thirds innings pitched, eight hits, six earned runs.
00:31The Cubbies get smoked in San Francisco.
00:35Yeah, but Colin Ray is actually pitched very well over the last month or so here.
00:41He hasn't given up more than two earned runs, I think, in any one particular start.
00:46And you got the rookie, Wizenhut, that had been called up a couple of days earlier again
00:51from AAA, and this Cubs lineup again, where'd they go?
00:56Well, I mean, my goodness here, you got Colin Ray, four straight starts without giving up
01:01two or more runs, and you got a kid that's being called up again, gives up the three-run
01:06homer to homer, right?
01:07And all of a sudden, things are looking great, except they keep pitching to Rafael Devers,
01:12and Rafael Devers continues to make them pay, and so did everyone else.
01:16So all of a sudden, the bats of San Francisco have come alive here all of a sudden in this series.
01:22So all of a sudden, let's go back to the other series.
01:23Let's go back to the other series.
01:31Let's go back to the other series.
01:40We'll see you then.
