00:00How about the San Diego Padres?
00:01They needed a victory yesterday, and they got one over the Seattle Mariners.
00:05A 7-6 final, which saw Dylan Cease.
00:08Analytics love him.
00:09Nothing else about his game makes sense.
00:12Four and a third innings pitch, four earned runs.
00:13He was bad.
00:14You take a look at Castillo on the other side.
00:16Five innings pitch, five earned runs.
00:18You were looking towards two semi-aces to sort of hold it down.
00:21And all of a sudden, we're getting runs up there at T-Mobile in the Pacific Northwest.
00:25The Pods needed it and got it yesterday, though.
00:28Yeah, we talked about it, though.
00:30We didn't like either pitcher.
00:32They had a ton of runs in game one.
00:34It felt like both guys were very hittable in game two with Castillo and Cease going.
00:41And then, of course, before you blink, we got a grand slam in the first inning.
00:45It's a 5-0 lead for the Padres.
00:47And then kind of the wheels fell off, right?
00:50I mean, Seattle comes back, and then it's a back-and-forth game.
00:55And ultimately, the better bullpen held out.
00:57The better bullpen was with the Padres, and they were able to hold on and settle down
01:03Seattle's bats.
01:04But listen, a 5-0 lead in the first inning, you know, a lot of teams, that would have been
01:09it.
01:10But the Mariners clubbed their way back into that game, but they just fell a little bit
01:14short.
01:14So let's go ahead.
