00:00Yeah, I'm an Indigenous round front runner this weekend, but Jamie Bunnell did this for us.
00:05You've got the Bunjil and then the three Indigenous girls that have been at the club.
00:09Myself, Matia and Janet.
00:12And then down the bottom is the rest of the group as well, meeting down there.
00:17So it's a really beautiful game here.
00:19I think it's just an opportunity for us to showcase what we've got
00:22and the young girls and boys to look up to us.
00:26Just the communities that get around us and they can see us doing it.
00:29So I'm really excited for our future.
00:32As a player who has played and a player who is now watching,
00:35I think it's really exciting for Aboriginal girls to be able to see what they can be.
00:40For our female footballers and non-binary footballers to play the game
00:44and also create that opportunity.
00:46The contribution from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
00:49is crucial in our game for growth.
00:51Without that, we can't really create that shift that we're looking for.
00:54And until then, we don't understand what our support looks like for those players.
00:58in the system too.
00:59So we've come from all different backgrounds, different nations.
01:04I'm a Noongar woman and I'm different to somebody who lives on a wandering country.
