00:51Ang kauna-unahang sumacum laude ng Bataan Peninsula State University Main Campus.

00:56Sinalubong siya ng palakpakan, fit for her queerness,

01:01na naging lakas para harapin ang hamon ng buhay bilang miyembro ng LGBTQIA plus community.

01:06So yes, my superpower is my queerness, and I had it all along.

01:14My queerness taught me to live in a world that wasn't built for me and still find joy.

01:20It gave me the courage to take up space even when the world told me to tone it down.

01:27It taught me empathy.

01:29When you've been judged for simply existing, you'll learn to never judge others and be kind.

01:35Nitong college lang daw talaga naging toto sa sarili si PRISM.

01:39At sa first year college pa lang, binigyan na ng pagsubok.

01:42When they were taking my picture for my school ID, a guy told me na bakit daw long hair ako,

01:52dapat daw short hair, dapat daw hindi ako susuot ng earrings, etc.

01:56But I didn't agree to that.

01:58I made a promise to myself that I'm going to be who I am.

02:02And tinry ko siyang ipaglaban.

02:04And that's actually the first baby steps that I made during college to get out of my comfort zone.

02:12Pinaglaban hanggang sa makuwang tagustuhan magsuot ng uniform na pambabae at ng mahabang buhok.

02:18E pinagpapasalamat niya raw ito sa kanyang eskwelahan.

02:20Naging butterfly effect siya na nagiging mas confident ako sa klase.

02:25Ang diskriminasyon, unti-unti na rin daw nawala dahil sa kanyang naaabot.

02:42Ang respeto at pagkilala, hindi raw dapat ipinagkakait.

02:45Ano man ang estado sa buhay, ano man ang kasarian.

02:48My queerness is not a weakness. It's not a fault. It is my strength. It is my power.

02:57And I stand here today as a living proof that with the queerness, with the gayness inside of me,

03:03I shine so bright because I am who I am and no one can take it away from me.
