00:09During a press conference, the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, unveiled President Nicolás Maduro had ordered the activation together with a large operational reinforcement of the ongoing crime-fighting operations in border regions.
00:23The deployment, which is already underway, includes 15,000 men as well as aviation and fluvial equipment.
00:30In this regard, Cabello stressed Venezuela's answering in force to those intending to enter drugs to the territory, effectively seizing 32,769 kilos so far this year.
