Three people, including a three-year-old girl, were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between a car and a four-wheel-drive vehicle near Rompin, Pahang on Aug 24.

The incident happened along the Kuantan-Seremban road near Bukit Serok in Bandar Tun Abdul Razak.

00:20Rescue Department said they received the report at 4.46pm and found one woman trapped in the
00:26wreckage and she was pronounced dead at the scene. They said six others, including the four-wheel
00:31drive driver, were taken to Mwadzam Shah Hospital for treatment. An 18-year-old woman and a three-year-old
00:38girl later died at the hospital. Police said the victim's identities and relationships are still
00:44being verified while the cause of the accident is under investigation. The car with a man, four
00:50women and the girl in it was travelling from Baha'u to Mwadzam Shah when it collided with the four-wheel
00:55drive vehicle driven by a man.
