00:00A 31-year-old man was killed after the four-wheel drive vehicle he was driving crashed into the

00:12back of a lorry along kilometre 41 of the Batu Pahat Mersing Road in Kluang on Tuesday morning.

00:19Kluang OCPD Assistant Commissioner Bahrin Mohamad Noh said the accident occurred at

00:25around 10.20am and involved two local drivers, both aged 31. Initial investigations revealed

00:33that the lorry, which was heading from Kluang Town towards UK Farm, had stopped to make a right turn

00:38at a junction when the four-wheel drive vehicle lost control and collided into the back of it.

00:44The four-wheel drive driver suffered severe head and body injuries and died at the scene while the

00:50lorry driver escaped unhurt. The case is being investigated under section 41, subsection 1

00:56of the Road Transport Act, 1987, for causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
