00:00The death toll of a horrific accident in Perkan, Pahang early Saturday morning, has risen to

00:08two.

00:09Police identified the victims as 32-year-old Nurnazatul Fashia Nasruddin and 21-year-old

00:15Mohamed Waldon Faris Nasruddin.

00:18Nurnazatul perished at the scene while her younger brother Waldon died at around 1.30

00:23p.m. at Perkan Hospital.

00:26Following the incident that happened at around 4.15 a.m., a lorry veered off the road and

00:31rammed into their house at the fifth kilometre on Jalan Pekan Rompin near Kampung Ketapanghilir.

00:37Pekan OCPD Superintendent Mohamed Zaidi Madzain said the 40-year-old lorry driver tested positive

00:47for methamphetamine and will be remanded to help with investigation.

00:52He said the lorry driver, the deceased's parents and another resident of the house

00:56suffered minor injuries and were taken to Perkan Hospital for treatment.
