00:12some sort of recognition to informants or individuals who provide assistance.
00:17It is something that helps us in our investigations.
00:21You sometimes need to provide incentive for people,
00:24especially when it's maybe not in their best interest to provide that information.
00:29And so it is something that is definitely a tactic we use in the United States.
00:35It is important for it to be regulated so that you can ensure we know where the funds are going.
00:42And it's also something that we want to make sure the money is going to the right places and things like that.
00:49So I think it's a matter of from an overall standpoint, it is something that most countries do.
00:56We do it.
00:57It's just a matter of how it's done and making sure it's being done properly with the right protocols in place.
