00:00To take back any messaging. So over lunch, Minister, we might have a chat, but yeah, that like every other regional obligation is a challenge and with limited funding and limited opportunities, we need to prioritise that funding. I think the hospital issue is a major issue for all of us and it's something we will discuss over lunch and certainly the Minister will transfer that information back to Ryan Park, which again we've had many meetings with already.
00:26So we can only keep asking the question and it's really about getting a response that we think is adequate.
00:33In budget estimates yesterday, Amanda Conn raised the issue of soil problems with the North East Building with Ryan Park and it was then sort of confirmed with the Health Infrastructure Acting Chief Executive.
00:49And then it was sort of raised about where funding would come from fixing up those soil issues.
00:56Is that a concern that some of that $558 million may end up going to that?
01:01Well, you know, it's becoming a bit of a sinkhole and certainly part of that funding went to the temporary car parking.
01:07So the less money that we can spend on a building, shoring up foundations is a critical component, but that issue was identified in early days and early boring.
01:18And certainly we brought it to their attention as council at the site when it was originally built was on an unstable P classified soil.
01:26So they've had their issues out there with the existing building.
01:29So we don't know where that's going to happen and where that's going to take us.
01:34But I know that the minister or the current leader of the opposition party in the federal government is saying that there's not enough money for that particular development.
01:43And I think, again, representation should be made to the federal government as it was discussed with the two state government ministers for tripartite funding and to fund what we need and not what we need for now, what we need for the future.
01:57So maybe that's that is still an option.
02:00And I will continue to press for a meeting with the minister for health in the federal government again to discuss this with Mr. Butler and see where it takes us.
02:09But we need the support of our state government and we don't take that for granted.
02:14I think that's really and the local members.
02:16So we don't take that for granted and we respect that position.
