00:17According to the charge sheet, Dr. Akmal allegedly posted statements on Facebook around 3 p.m. on August 11 that could incite public alarm and offences against public order.
00:28The statements were reportedly viewed at the Bukit Murtajam Parliamentary Service Centre, prompting a complaint by Chong Wei Hung.
00:37The offence, framed under Section 505, subsection B of the Penal Code for Public Mischief, carries a penalty of up to two years' imprisonment, a fine or both.
00:48Nurul Rasida granted bail of RM5,000 with one surety and fixed September 22 for case management and document submission.
