00:05with causing public alarm over the death of Form 1 student Zahra Khairina Mahathir.
00:11Siti Hajar Aflah Shaharuddin, who works at a secondary school in Rawang,
00:16pleaded not guilty to the charge read before Magistrate Khairatul Anima Jalani.
00:21The 39-year-old was accused of making a statement on the TikTok account

00:29and may have encouraged others to commit offences against public order at 1.20pm on August 6.
00:37The statement was seen and heard by a police officer at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
00:43Siti Hajar was charged under Section 505B of the Penal Code,
00:47which carries a jail term of up to two years or a fine or both upon conviction.
00:52Her lawyer, Mohammad Zaiful Bahrin Kamdi, requested that the court grant a minimal bail,
00:58considering his client had cooperated with the authorities throughout the investigation.
01:03He said the accused voluntarily surrendered to the police and was not remanded,
01:08adding that she was not a flight risk.
01:10He also said that Siti Hajar is a single mother of three children aged 12, 11 and 10,
01:16and also supports her parents.
01:18Magistrate Khairatul Anima granted bail at RM4,000 with one surety
01:23and set October 4 for document submission.

01:31revealed the teacher had admitted to claiming
01:33that Zahra Khairina died after being placed in a washing machine merely for content.
