00:09A check of the court's case management system showed that the BERA MP is scheduled to appear
00:14before Sessions Court Judge Susanna Husin at 9am.
00:18The charge is believed to be related to the declaration of assets.
00:22Ismail Sabri has previously been summoned several times by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption
00:27Commission, M.A.C.C., to have his statement recorded as part of its investigation into
00:33his asset declaration.
00:35The M.A.C.C. seized 170 million ringgit in cash in various foreign currencies and 16 kilograms
00:43of gold bullion, estimated to be worth about 7 million ringgit during raids conducted as
00:49part of the probe.
00:50The seizures followed the arrests of four of Ismail Sabri's former senior officers in February
00:552025.
