00:30It's an opportunity for women who have been affected by cancer
00:33to come along to a range of workshops that are run here
00:36within the Southeastern Trust, within the Nick Millen Unit.
00:39It's an opportunity to meet other women who have been
00:42similarly affected by cancer.
00:44A lot of the cancer treatments can strip some women of their femininity
00:49and it's like giving them their confidence back,
00:52giving them their, like, what makes them women back.
00:54It makes me feel really happy just because when I come to their workshop,
00:58people look really down and then they're not feeling themselves.
01:01They're like, no, I don't want to put no makeup on.
01:03And then when they come, they start to put it on.
01:05They feel good.
01:06And then they're like, I actually feel like myself again.
01:08And it just makes you feel really good helping them.
01:11I think they're really important.
01:13I do think you need that building up your confidence a wee bit
01:17and looking better.
01:20They have people that they can relate to
01:22and they get more from the people that are there.
01:25They feel happier.
01:27They feel more confident.
01:29They are aware that everything passes.
01:32And they make friends. Wonderful.
01:34I've been doing it for 25 years. I love it.
01:37The service is really valuable.
01:39It's just amazing to see the impact that it has on people.
01:42You see people coming out of that session really and truly uplift it.
01:46And you can see also then being a serious version of themselves.
