00:00Come with me to check out one of Southern California's most iconic and historic hotels
00:04that just got a $550 million glow-up, including over 900 refreshed rooms, three new restaurants,
00:11one of which includes my favorite, the world-renowned Nobu. Built in 1888, Hotel Del
00:16Coronado's latest reopening was six years in the making. The Victorians' lobby, known for its
00:21dark wood and crystal chandelier, welcomes guests with a little extra sparkle, and upstairs,
00:26the newly completed rooms are just as stunning. The charming courtyard set the scene for a lovely
00:31welcome luncheon, complete with entertainment, fun bites, and opening remarks from none other than
00:36Brooke Shields. There's also the views with beachfront access. If you're feeling social, you can book
00:40their poolside rooms with cabanas. I stayed at the Shore House, and it feels like your own little
00:44world. The modern suites are great for families, but still totally a vibe. It's got its own pool,
00:49separate entrance, and check-in. But the real star may be the restaurants. Nobu Del Coronado lives up
00:54to the hype. So if you're a seafood lover, I highly recommend putting in reservations now.
00:59The veranda is perfect for California classics al fresco, and serious seafood tacos are some
01:03of the best I've ever had. Safe to say, the Del knows how to party.
