00:00Good morning, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press on it's Tuesday, August the 19th, just bringing you some of our top headlines today.
00:06First of all, one from the police. Vandals have been at it, attacking some speed cameras.
00:14There were some brand new cameras that had been put in place on the A19 through Bentley and Toll Bar.
00:21They're checking the average speed of motorists along that stretch of road.
00:25But within hours of them being put in place, the new devices had been wrecked by vandals.
00:32Not very helpful. It happened in the early hours of Thursday morning, we understand.

00:42Then another one regarding the police.
00:45The South Yorkshire Force has failed to provide a definitive explanation for deleting more than 96,000 pieces of body-worn video footage
00:54over a three-year period relating to 126 criminal cases.
01:00It comes as the forces reprimanded by the Information Commissioner's Office following an investigation into the deletion of these pieces of footage.

01:25A mental health care home in Doncaster requires improvement following an inspection earlier in the year.
01:33The residential care home provides support to younger adults, children, people with mental health conditions.
01:39There were some good aspects during the inspection.
01:42But overall, the CQC said that it required improvement in a lot of areas.
