00:00All right. The Colts have basically seen a couple of weeks of the preseason, and we got to just keep it honest from the reports that we see in these practices and even the games.
00:09There really has been no separator for Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones.
00:14You know, Vinny, my prediction going into this thing is that Jones was going to be the guy.
00:18I think that I thought personally they would pivot over to him.
00:21I don't know that that's going to be the case.
00:23That was just my instinct, knowing that they've seen enough of Richardson to make him wait a little bit longer and watch a little bit longer.
00:29But it seems like a coin flip at the very least at this point, Vinny, because according to Shane Steichen, nobody's won the job.
00:36Yeah, this is also a critical year for Shane Steichen, right, to show he can do something with his offense and produce results, even though he's been on the hot seat less than Dable.
00:46So when you look at this, I think you evaluate here, Daniel Jones might give them the better shot to win games because he's willing to check down.
00:53He's willing to take the safer passes. Anthony Richardson is probably still looking for hero balls.
00:58That's a problem. There's no middle ground event in Richardson's game.
01:02He's either looking for something deep or taking off and running.
01:04But Daniel Jones is a little bit more contained in that.
01:07He's athletic enough to get you a few yards, but he'll take the check downs.
01:11He'll throw to Tyler Warren. He'll throw to Jonathan Taylor when it's available, not force things up in the air.
01:16So I think really since they drafted Warren, I think this has been tilting a little bit toward Daniel Jones.
01:21I think they wanted Richardson to go out there, dazzle, prove himself, and win it.
01:27But this is turning out to be more of a developmental project than they would like as a high draft pick.
