00:00Yeah, I mean, there are so many moving parts here, aren't there?
00:04And that's something we can all agree on.
00:05And, you know, but one thing that strikes me listening to both of you is just thinking,
00:10you know, President Putin is such an experienced negotiator and such an experienced statesman.
00:17He's been the uninterrupted, uncontested leader of Russia for much of the last quarter of a century.
00:23I mean, Angie, does this look to President Trump like a minefield?
00:27And could this set of talks be fraught with risk for him?
00:31Well, it has been a whole set of minefields.
00:33Look at President Trump, what he's already done.
00:35He's gotten NATO members to up defense spending by 5 percent in every single country.
00:40He's gotten he's put all these secondary sanctions on countries that work with Russia and buy cheap Russian oil.
00:49He's bombed three Iranian nuclear sites to, you know, that was, you know,
00:56that was all related to all this.
00:58So he's done everything to put pressure on Russia.
01:01And now they're coming to Alaska to discuss a deal.
01:05Now, Putin, I mean, to speak to Mr. Fox's concerns here, Putin's KGB trained.
01:11He knows how to read Trump and Trump knows how to read him.
01:13This is going to be quite the meeting because you have two titans here who are going to be looking at each other,
01:19sizing each other up, saying, how do we do this?
01:21Right. And I hope that's exactly what we come out with, because both men want to continue this relationship.
01:28Both men want to have a relationship outside of a Ukraine conflict.
01:33And I think that would be the best results coming from these meetings is to have further talks.
01:38Yes, Ukraine's on the table right now.
01:40But what else can we talk about?
01:41What other trade deals can we talk about?
01:43What kind of future are we going to have together?
01:46Those are the bigger questions that I would like to see coming out of these meetings.
01:50And I think we're going to get there.
01:51This is going to be a historic moment.
01:54You know, we're going to have great photos of the two men shaking hands on Alaskan soil.
01:59I think that this is exactly the kind of moment that changes world conflicts and the geopolitical rejigging of the maps.
02:06So I think this is going to be much, much larger than Ukraine.
