John Cena is reflecting on his momentous 20-year career in the WWE ... as he reveals his body is telling him it's time to move on.

00:02No, my body is screaming at me to close the chapter.

00:05That's John Cena discussing his upcoming retirement from the world of wrestling.

00:10Partly because his 48-year-old body can't handle it anymore,

00:13and partly as a way to give room to the new class of wrestlers.

00:17And I think if I hang around any longer than now,

00:19I'm just taking time away from those young guys who can be the next chance to make an impact.

00:24It's a great idea, John, except there are no young guys.

00:28Is there any, like, young, up-and-coming WWE guys?

00:32Logan Paul is a big one, right?

00:33Other than him? That's it? That's all we've got?

00:36Seriously, the WWE better get some new young stars

00:38before The Undertaker has to actually do some undertaking.

00:42I mean, it's true, like, even Roman Reigns is 40.

00:44Even, like, the females, they're all getting old, too.

00:47Like, the Bella Twins.

00:48But the reality is there are guys that are well older than 48 that are wrestling.

00:51Yeah, R-Truth is still doing it at 53.

00:54Rey Mysterio is 50.

00:56Age is just a number.

00:58Unfortunately, so are rising cholesterol levels.

01:02He is in his final stretch.

01:04Everybody knows this, that he's got, like, 10, 11 or so months left,

01:07and then it's a wrap for John Cena.

01:09January, I'm gonna look in the rear view and reflect on all this.

01:12But the big question, how's he gonna go out?

01:16It's gotta be Cena against whoever...

01:17Gonna have to be The Rock.

01:18The final boss for the final match.

01:21But then you're seeing two old men fight, and then it's just sad.
