00:05A senior officer serving at an army camp in Malacca has been detained for alleged
00:10bribery. A six-day remand order was issued against the suspect by Magistrate
00:15Uthman Abdul Ghani following an application by the M.A.C.C. in I.A.

00:2512.15 p.m. on Tuesday when he turned up to give his statement at the state
00:30M.A.C.C. headquarters in Alai. According to a source,

00:35investigations revealed that the suspect, who was the commanding officer of the
00:39camp,
00:40reportedly committed the offence two years ago, the suspect is believed to
00:44have received payment
00:45amounting to approximately 150,000 ringgit in cash.
