00:00So we told you earlier that President Trump has revealed his first list of Kennedy Center honorees.
00:06On the list was the band Kiss.
00:09And we were wondering how they were going to react to this,
00:13because they've certainly Gene Simmons at times has said things where not hating on President Trump,
00:21but there are things that he doesn't support.
00:23And I think there are some things he does.
00:24But we now found out Devin had reached out to the band to try and find out whether they were going to show up.
00:33And the two guys who really, the two remaining original members who are Kiss, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, we got...
00:41Yeah, and we also got Ace's quote now as well.
00:44I mean, they're clearly honored.
00:47That's the general consensus.
00:49And it seems like they're definitely going to go.
00:51So Gene says Kiss is the embodiment of the American dream.
00:55We're deeply honored to receive the Kennedy Center honor.
00:58Paul tells us from our earliest days, Kiss has embodied the American ideal that all things are possible,
01:03that hard work pays off.
01:04The prestige of the Kennedy Center honors cannot be overstated.
01:06And I accept this on behalf of the long legacy of Kiss and all the band members who helped create our iconic band.
01:12So they're clearly...
01:14Hey, don't sleep on my man.
01:15Yeah, we got Ace's comment as well.
01:17He's just saying that.

01:40Anyway.
01:42Yes.
01:42So that's, it sounds like Kiss is going to be there for their Kennedy Center honor.
01:49Hi, I'm Pravi from Florida.
01:51And at the end of the day, Kiss is absolutely legendary as a band.
01:54They have worked hard for decades and have been recognized.
01:57And they absolutely deserve this award.
01:59Good for them, because for a long time, Kiss has been maligned by critics.
02:03So good that they've gotten a chance to be honored this way.
