We spoke to Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss from the iconic band ... and, they all expressed gratitude after being bestowed with the institution's highest honor by President Donald Trump.

00:00So we told you earlier that President Trump has revealed his first list of Kennedy Center honorees.

00:06On the list was the band Kiss.

00:09And we were wondering how they were going to react to this,

00:13because they've certainly Gene Simmons at times has said things where not hating on President Trump,

00:21but there are things that he doesn't support.

00:23And I think there are some things he does.

00:24But we now found out Devin had reached out to the band to try and find out whether they were going to show up.

00:33And the two guys who really, the two remaining original members who are Kiss, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, we got...

00:44I mean, they're clearly honored.

00:47That's the general consensus.

00:49And it seems like they're definitely going to go.

00:51So Gene says Kiss is the embodiment of the American dream.
