04:24We've been rolling, moving fast, but I'm doing good
04:26I was going to say, you were telling me something in your schedule
04:28It's like play shows Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
04:31Go home to Texas and then come back to Nashville and then back to Texas, right?
04:34Yeah, so it's becoming a cycle now
04:36So I think now when it goes back to normal of having a full week at home
04:40I'm going to be mixed up
04:41But no, yeah, it's been fun
04:43It's been moving
04:44And I think every bit or every little travel day
04:48And packing a bag real fast
04:50And throwing boots, jeans, all this stuff in there
04:51I think it's all going to be worth it
04:53Do you feel like you're a professional packer now?
04:54Like you've got it down?
04:55No
04:55That's the bad part
04:57But if my laundry was done, then yes, I would be a professional packer
05:02But right now it's black shorts and whatever color t-shirt to match with it

05:07Well, listen, I'm excited to get to know you
05:08This is the first time that we ever met, get to sit down
05:10I'm excited to have you as a launch artist and for our audience to get to know you
05:13So I kind of would love to just start at the beginning
05:15Talk to me about growing up in Texas and then how you got into music
05:19Yeah, so I grew up in Stephenville, Texas in a Texas Tech household
05:23So like all my brothers, sisters, everyone went there
05:25And while we were all growing up
05:29Then my parents got a divorce
05:30And I moved to the golf course
05:32And then my dad moved to Haskell, Texas
05:35Which is like right outside of Abilene
05:36Nothing there
05:37I did not like going there
05:39And then I went to high school
05:42Played football, baseball, basketball
05:44Did all the sports
05:47And that's what I was mostly invested in
05:49And so I was playing guitar for fun
05:52But I was also just so invested in football
05:55Because in Stephenville, Texas
05:56Football is the number one priority
05:59And then I graduated
06:01And I was like, I'm not going to get my college paid for through football
06:05So I started doing FFA and got really involved with Future Farmers of America
06:09And did a lot of speeches, science experiments
06:13And then got scholarships to go to tech
06:15And then once I went to tech
06:16I needed to make a little extra money
06:19So I was breaking bulls, show cattle
06:21And then I was also working at a feed store
06:24And so I would listen to music all day
06:27And I was like, why don't I just do this?
06:29Like if I love music so much
06:31When I'm sitting in the car
06:32Then I ought to try it
06:34And so I ended up writing my first song
06:39Which was Take It Slow
06:40And it went viral on TikTok
06:42And at that moment I was like
06:45I didn't know what any of that meant
06:46You know, I went from throwing hay bales
06:48And waking up at 6am
06:51I mean, not worrying about
06:52I mean, I was going to concerts and stuff
06:54But I didn't know what like a viral moment was
06:57I wasn't watching social media like that
06:59And so that happened
07:02And then I started posting and writing
07:04And now here we are today
07:06So when you made the decision
07:08Playing live shows
07:09That happened very fast too
07:10Like I bought a van, a trailer
07:12Got a band together
07:13In like a matter of like three weeks
07:14We put a set together in a week
07:16Went and played it the next day
07:17So it's been just quick turnover
07:20Yeah, you've had a very wild year
07:22For sure
07:23So when you make the decision
07:24You're like, I want to try music
07:25And you write this song
07:27And you post it
07:27Have you told anybody
07:28Like in your family, close friends
07:29Like this is what I want to do
07:30I'm going to try it?
07:32No, I mean

07:33It was more of like
07:35We're in the dorm room
07:36I'm playing it
07:37And my college buddies are like
07:38What are you doing?

07:46Hyping you up
07:47And so my family was like
07:50Whenever it all started
