26 EU countries issue a statement in support of Ukraine ahead of the Alaska talks, without Hungary

Hungary's PM Viktor Orbán said the EU attempts to set conditions for a meeting to which leaders of the EU were not invited. He also called for an EU-Russia summit.

00:00The leaders of 26 European Union member states, all bar Hungary, rallied behind Ukraine ahead of talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart on Friday.
00:11Trump is set to meet Putin in Alaska as part of U.S. efforts for a ceasefire push.
00:16European leaders said they welcomed Trump's efforts, but highlighted that Ukraine's territorial borders should be respected in a ceasefire agreement.
00:23Let me remind you that at the same time, the EU is extremely active in all fronts to support Ukraine and put Ukraine in a position of strength.
00:36The only leader that refused to sign the agreement was Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
00:41Orban said that he refused to sign the statement because European leaders were not invited to the meeting in Alaska.
00:47He called for them to initiate an EU-Russia summit instead to give Europe a seat at the negotiating table.
00:55Hungary has in the past rejected motions calling for joint European military or financial support for Kyiv.
