00:32They ran the easiest out route to pick up the necessary first down on that third down.

00:41They scored touchdowns on each of their first two drives.

00:50Burrow, after that incompletion, was nine for nine for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

00:55Did you have any big takeaway from how these two started off?

00:58Well, I think that's what you want to see if you're a Cincinnati fan.

01:01I think it's more important week one when they go on the road to the dog pound and they're

01:04five and a half point road favorites.

01:06Can they step up and have that type of performance?

01:08And again, previously, outside of last year, they have struggled with Cleveland, right?

01:13I still think that's a questionable line when you see the five and a half.

01:17I wouldn't make it more six and a half, seven.

01:18Why is it only five and a half?

01:20I might be inclined to take that five and a half week number one.

01:23I'm just saying.

01:25But they can ill afford to start slow again.

01:28I mean, this team has the biggest bullseye on their back.

01:32If they lose that game, I mean, they're going to hear it.

01:35Zach Taylor could be on the hot seat, right?

01:36So to get them involved in the preseason, get that quarterback to wide receiver relationship

01:41clicking early.

01:42We saw them come out of the gate last year as a seven and a half point home favor and

01:46lose to Jacoby Brissett in New England.

01:48They can't do that this time.

01:50They it's it's an AFC championship or bus.

01:53That's what you want to see.

01:54And that's why he's one of the front runners to lead the NFL in terms of yards and touchdowns.

01:59Yeah, I think my my takeaway actually was and tell me if this is unfair.

03:10So that's the hesitance.

03:11But I think you can make a pretty strong case to just back chase since he's not the favorite.

03:16I mean, you can back chase.

03:18I think chase is legitimate in terms of the front run.

03:21And for me, though, it comes down to Burrow.

03:24As long as Joe Burrow is healthy, they are a contender in each and every game.

03:28Now, maybe the defense doesn't step up.

03:30But they have the ability to outscore anybody on their schedule, including the Chiefs, including

03:34Buffalo and Baltimore.

03:36So that is not the concern.

03:38Stay healthy.

03:39Start fast.

03:40And then the sky is the limit, really, for this team.
