00:00Diddy will pledge allegiance to Donald Trump
00:03if he's pardoned.
00:05And we got this almost from the horse's mouth.
00:08It's as close to the horse's mouth as you can get,
00:10considering Diddy is still in MDC Brooklyn right now.
00:14But his attorney, one of his attorneys, Mark Garagos,
00:17spoke about the possibility of a pardon from Donald Trump.
00:22So we're gonna show you this.
00:23This was on our Two Angry Men podcast.
00:26And I kinda lobbed this at him,
00:28thinking he'd deflect it and just said,
00:31will Diddy pledge allegiance to Donald Trump
00:34if he's pardoned?
00:35And I thought Mark was gonna say,
00:37well, we'll see, it's too early.
00:41Okay, it is unequivocal.
00:45This is unequivocal.
00:47Would Diddy pledge allegiance to Donald Trump
00:50in return for a pardon?
00:52I think you wanna know the truth?
00:54I think yes.
00:56There's something about that fraternity of people
00:59who have been accused and have gone through the process
01:02that gives you an affinity.
01:05And it would not surprise me to hear Sean say,
01:11I now get it, I understand it, and I was wrong then,
01:15and I'm, and I'm, I don't know that I would say
01:18he's pledging loyalty, but I think he would probably say,
01:21I now get what he went through.
01:23Would I be jumping to conclusions to think
01:26that there wasn't a discussion about how Diddy
01:29would speak of the president in return for a pardon?
01:35Well, I don't know that there's ever been that discussion.
01:38I can't go that far, but I would tell you that.
01:42I would, but I, it would not surprise me.
01:46For those of you listening, Mark just smiled.
01:48So, okay, the key words to me are, he was wrong then.
01:54Because remember, he didn't support Trump
01:56the last time around.
01:57And he, and he had very, very critical things to say.
02:01Right, right.
02:01But he said he was wrong.
02:02It's like, nobody really believes he's saying
02:06he was wrong then, but as long as he says it,
02:09it's good enough for Donald Trump.
02:10The question is, is it enough to just say,
02:13I understand what he went through
02:16when he was being, when he was being prosecuted,
02:19or do you have to say something more?
02:20I don't think that's enough.
02:22But he said he was wrong then.
02:23Then has to mean the last election.
02:25So, so he says two things.
02:27First, he says that there's a fraternity that develops
02:30and two people are, believe that they are persecuted
02:32by the federal government.
02:33That's what he says.
02:34Which I think is true.
02:35But then, but he seems to say that Trump might pardon him
02:39because of the fraternity.
02:40But then he toggles over to this sort of the like,
02:43if he says nice things about him,
02:45that's where you drive the conversation.
02:47It's up to Diddy to say nice things about the president,
02:50turn his back on what Diddy said before,
02:52and then forget it.
02:53It's a Chrisley's.
02:54It's the Chrisley's daughter wearing a MAGA hat,
02:57speaking at the convention.
02:58Yes.
02:59And that's why I think it's not just about this fraternity
03:02of people being prosecuted.
03:04That's not gonna be enough for Trump.
03:05Who's already said, I'm inclined not to pardon this guy
03:08because he said bad things about me.
03:10Right.
03:11So we know he's petty.
03:12And we've seen it.
03:12Well, we've seen Donald Trump forgive,
03:15I guess for lack of a better word.
03:16Marco Rubio, J.D. Vance, Ted Cruz.
03:20They all had to get on board very publicly.
03:23Yes.
03:24Not just take back the things that they had said,
03:26but get on board publicly.
03:27Remember, J.D. Vance said he was a Nazi.
03:29Said Donald Trump was a Nazi.
03:30J.D. Vance then kissed the ring
03:33and he got the vice presidential job.
03:34It's like an Etch-A-Sketch.
03:36That as long as people will say good things, it goes away.
03:39Right.
03:40And Diddy can reset it.
03:42So what I'm thinking-
03:43Did he be the next vice president?
03:45No.
03:46No, but I mean, I'm really serious.
03:47He's got Kanye in front of him.
03:48He's got a lot of people to go to.
03:49I'm actually really serious.
03:50I would not be surprised if his kids start wearing MAGA hats.
03:54Yes.
03:55No, absolutely.
03:56I would be very shocked.
03:57Why?
03:58He's not going to-
03:59Wouldn't you do it for your dad?
04:00I would wear a MAGA hat for my dad to get him out.
04:02Is he going to make his kids do that?
04:05His kids may want to do it-
04:06All right, if his kids voluntarily do it, but I-
04:09No, I don't see-
04:10And it doesn't matter-
04:11I do not see-
04:12Why?
04:13Christian Combs walking through LAX-
04:14Why?
04:15With a MAGA hat on suddenly.
04:16It's also, it's so transparent.
04:18But-
04:19I actually, I take it back.
04:20It's totally transparent.
04:21To the public, it just, to the public, you look at it and you go like, there's no way
04:26that works.
04:27Obviously, we can see what he's doing.
04:28But it works for Trump.
04:29It works for Trump.
04:30But it works for Trump.
04:31It works for Trump.
04:32So-
04:33This has been so normalized.
04:34We're not even like, boy, what has become of the Republic when this kind of thing is such
04:36obvious quid pro quo for pardons.
04:38But this is the country we live in now, where as long as you say nice things about the president,
04:44whether you're a university, a business, or an individual, you can get favor from him.
04:48Listen, he may believe, well, you know what, I just saw an unfair prosecution with me, Diddy
04:55is saying.
04:56Yes.
04:57And maybe I can, I can empathize more with Trump.
04:59So it may actually be deeper than just transactional.
05:01It may.
05:02Hello, Mark from Los Angeles.
05:04Man, I don't, I don't see Diddy's kids doing that, but I do see Diddy, I mean, after the
05:11whole industry turned on him and after being denied bail, I could see him tap dancing or
05:15doing whatever he needs to do to get out of this situation.
05:19I don't know if his kids are getting involved, though.
05:21Would you, if you were in this situation, would you?
05:23Man, are you gonna really ask me that, but I mean-
05:25Yeah.
05:26Yeah.
05:27I mean, yes.
05:28Yes, man.
05:31We appreciate the honesty.
05:32We appreciate the honesty.
