00:00The Offensive Rookie of the Year odds changed a little bit. Not a ton, Vinny, after the first week. We see Cam Ward now jump into almost being the favorite to win the Rookie of the Year. Everything else is more or less the same, but Ward was so polished, Vinny, in the first quarter that he played. I think that's probably why they adjusted it.
00:17Yeah, Nash and Gentry was the worst rusher for the Raiders in their particular game with minus three yards. That's not going to inspire someone, even if it doesn't mean much for what the Raiders are thinking about his role. But yeah, Gentry is going to be the heavy favorite. We assume he's going to push for 300 plus touches in this offense with Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly, if that's the case. There are a lot of things in place, Colt Miller, this offensive line that sets him up for a lot of success.
00:44But if the Raiders are not good, and they falter a little bit, and they can't support the running game, Cam Ward could just have a fine rookie season as a quarterback. And usually in that situation, the tie goes to the quarterback over the running back.
00:57Usually so. Abdul Carter's the favorite for Defensive Rookie of the Year. Do you see it that way as well?
01:04Yeah, I think you definitely see his key role in that defense for what they're doing. But I look out for Jalon Walker. I think they're going to move him around and make some plays in Atlanta.
01:13They have a lot of opportunities there with leather void up front. So those are interesting odds. I didn't see any real defensive standout to say, hey, this person, we should watch for him over those guys. I think that reads about right. Abdul Carter's just a special talent. They'll get him on the field when he needs to make plays.
