00:00Bradford City earned a point away at Northampton Town in League 1

00:05thanks to a goalless draw on Saturday afternoon

00:08with manager Graeme Alexander acknowledging how hard fought the point was

00:12but admitted that the Bantams could have come away with all three.

00:18I think it's a good point.

00:19I think the point was the least we deserved.

00:23I felt we were the better team, had the better chances to score.

00:26We should have took at least one of those

00:27but it was important that we didn't give anything cheap away defensively.

00:31We were very strong defensively.

00:33I think the challenge that we had to face coming into our box,

00:39we stood up to which was really pleasing to see.

00:41First contact, our second balls, we landed on a lot.

00:44We were quite disciplined in our approach to that

00:47so that's a pleasing aspect

00:48and we just couldn't find that killer touch in the final third

00:52and it wasn't for a lack of trying

00:53but there was moments where the sticky pitch didn't help the individual concerned

01:01or we made the wrong decision.

01:02Maybe we should have just bought one more pass in a crossing position

01:05or in one of those shooting areas as well

01:07but I think we've hit the post.

01:09They've had two cleared off the line

01:10so the effort from the players is there.

01:14And Leeds United ended their pre-season in Dublin

01:17with a 1-1 draw against Italian giants AC Milan

01:29so I'm pretty delighted.

01:30We showed again a really good performance

01:32and also a decent result against one of Europe's giants

01:35so we wanted to play during this pre-season

01:38against really top sides

01:40starting also with our first game against Man United

01:44Villarreal, AC Milan

01:47so even in the top draw in Europe's football

01:50and to come out of this pre-season

01:53yeah, more or less unbeaten

01:56and if you want to count the third game

01:59like two games out of six games

02:01not one loss

02:02three wins, three draws is really good

02:04but right now the real stuff starts

02:06and right now the results are even more important

02:11but the performances are on a good level

02:13and this is quite important.
