Daniel Farke says Leeds were able to manage Preston

00:00Needs United head coach Daniel Falker has made clear just how well his side were able

00:04to manage the game against Preston North End at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.

00:09Absolutely, because normally in the last minutes one long ball after another flies

00:14into your box and some set pieces but we kept them away from our goal so we were good in

00:19possession, good on the counter-attack and pressed them still high so they were quite

00:24rarely sometimes perhaps here and there a corner but not often and I think this approach

00:29was important because if 20 balls or crosses come in then sometimes out of coincidence

00:35a reflected ball can go in but if just one or two come in then we're also strong enough

00:39to defend it and it was a key also like to not allow them to play that much in our half.

00:45We know that we're in a good position but nothing is done yet so we've also experienced this

00:49during the season that always twists and turns around the corner, we've also seen today how

00:53difficult it is to win an away game on the road also against teams who are fighting against

00:58relegation.

00:59It's always difficult.

01:00We have a very very difficult game upcoming on Good Friday and we have to stay focused

01:05so we know we're on a good point telly right now but we'll definitely need a few more points
