00:00Leeds United earned a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Newcastle United at Elland Road on Saturday evening, with Daniel Farker proud of his players' efforts.
00:11Absolutely pretty proud of the boys, not just with the game today, but overall with the whole start of the season so far, especially the home games of course.
00:21Two games, four points, two clean sheets today against, yeah, definitely one of the best sides in the UK who have dominated on Monday Liverpool with 11 men, but also with 10 men.
00:32And today we made it difficult for them to create chances and were pretty competitive today.
00:38I think there was not much in between the sides. We had the better first half.
00:42They were perhaps a bit better in terms of possession in the second half, but we had probably the better chances anyhow.
00:47So pretty competitive game and this is exactly how you have to approach as a newly promoted side, this league.
00:56So pretty delighted for the boys. Also with the circumstances we spoke about, we want to do something in the offence.
01:03And also our captain not available, East Nampadu, Aotanaka, top and crucial players for us.
01:08And then to show such a competitive performance against such a good side, I'm pretty happy.
01:13And Bradford City twice trailed that Valley Parade against Wimbledon on Saturday, but in the end came back to win by three goals to two.
01:22Hugely pleasing, Graeme Alexander.
01:25Extremely pleasing. Really tough game, which we knew it would be.
01:29I think it maybe caught us, or caught a couple of the boys by surprise a little bit in the jewels, how we competed.
01:37I thought we were a little bit naive in some of them and they took the lead.
01:42We got it back quite quickly, which was great.
01:45And the players kept showing that resilience to keep coming back from knockbacks.
01:50And tough game.
01:52I think all the goals, they were all similar, sort of physical challenges, second balls, all that sort of thing.
01:57But said to the players there, I think good teams find a way to win.
02:00And that's what we've done today.
02:02Nice, isn't it? It's been a week of different challenges, different types of games, different ways to win.
02:06But we've shown that we can adapt to anything, haven't we?
02:08Yeah, well, we have to.
02:09You know, the season, certainly in England, you know, so many different teams, so many different qualities.
