Every sound, every cry, every wave of despair cut into me with unbearable sharpness. It was as though my spirit could feel pain and hopelessness in a depth the body could never know.
Yet, when I was taken into Heaven, that same heightened sensitivity became a blessing. My soul was fully alive, saturated with peace and joy that words cannot describe. The atmosphere of Heaven entered into me, and I into it, without a trace of fear or sorrow. It was so perfect, so complete, that when I was told I must return to earth, I did not want to come back. My whole being longed to remain there forever.

00:00Here, I want to testify about my visitation to heaven and hell in 19 January 15, 1989.
00:14I am Pastor Israel Ben Cannon, known by all as Sim Topas.
00:20I was born and raised in Wiwak and Kimbe-Papua, New Guinea, and in 1983, while attending Hoskins
00:28High School at the Gavuvu South Seas Evangelical Church Mission Center, I committed my life
00:34to Christ.
00:35My passion for God has been my life's calling ever since.
00:39But on January 15, 1989, while in my village of Marambanjai, Yangarue, East Sepik Province,
00:47I had an encounter with eternity that forever changed my life.
00:51It was not a dream, nor a mere vision, it was a profound spiritual journey, in which I was
00:57taken beyond the boundaries of life and death.
01:01The Three-Day Fast
01:03The experience began during a three-day fast, driven by a burning desire to understand the
01:08afterlife and the unseen realm.
01:11I prayed earnestly, asking God to allow me to see what lies beyond this life.
01:16Specifically, I asked to witness the endless pit, the throne of Satan and the beauty of heaven.
01:22By the midnight hour of the third day, something supernatural occurred.
01:27The call into darkness.
01:30A brilliant light filled my room, piercing my innermost being.
01:33Then a voice, warm yet authoritative, called,
01:37Sim, come and see what you have yearned to witness.
01:41Instantly, a mighty unseen force pulled me from my bed.
01:44I felt myself plunging into an endless darkness, total pitch black.
01:48There was no light above, no light below, no glimmer anywhere.
01:53I could not even see myself.
01:55The void swallowed, every shape and shadow, and the darkness pressed against my very soul.
02:01I was falling exactly as I was when I slept, wearing my grey shorts, no shirt, and with
02:07the same sharp senses I had in life, fully aware, fully conscious, yet utterly blind in that
02:13bottomless pit.
02:15The lake of fire, and the throne of Satan.
02:18Suddenly, I arrived at a dreadful place, the lake of fire.
02:22The air was thick with hopelessness.
02:25Before me stood a massive black stone throne, set upon an endless abyss.
02:30The only light, was a devilish yellowish glow that gave the entire scene an unholy oppressive
02:36feel.
02:37The darkness was unlike anything on earth.
02:41It was total blackness.
02:43Not just the absence of light, but the absence of any sense of space or depth.
02:48It was thick and heavy, pressing in from every side.
02:52There was no air to breathe.
02:53Only, the suffocating sound of cries and wailing, echoing endlessly.
02:58The darkness seemed alive, wrapping itself around my being, cutting off sight completely.
03:04I could not see my own hands, my body, or anything around me.
03:08The only thing that existed in that place was pain, sorrow, and the unending voices of
03:13lost souls, crying, screaming, and mourning from every direction.
03:19Suspended in the center of this desolate realm, was the throne of Satan, radiating an unsettling
03:25sickly yellowish glow of light, not bright enough to bring clarity, but enough to reveal the
03:38oppressive evil that saturated the air.
03:43This glow did not warm or comfort, instead, it spread a feeling of dread, like a diseased light
04:00that illuminated only despair.
04:03Around it, the darkness pressed in, as if even the shadows feared to draw too close to
04:07its vile authority, down there.
04:10They urged me to come and sit on the throne.
04:14All around me, I heard anguished cries echoing from unseen places.
04:19Then, the cries began to overwhelm me.
04:22They were not faint.
04:24They were intense, unrelenting, and coming from every direction.
04:28I heard them beneath the throne, to the north, east, west, and south, cries everywhere echoing
04:33through the emptiness.
04:35Yet I could not see a single person, because that place was in total darkness, no light,
04:41nothing at all, only, the sound of agony filled the air, pressing against my soul.
04:47What are those cries?
04:48I asked.
04:49They are the cries of those who have disobeyed God, they replied, soon, ye will join them.
04:56At that moment, two radiant angels lowered down a staircase, descended into the darkness.
05:02They told me to climb a staircase, glowing with bright light as I began to ascend.
05:06I caught sight of flickering blue flames, and there I saw Satan, himself.
05:12His appearance was vile and terrifying, grotesque fox-like wings, a tattered black robe, horns protruding
05:18from his head.
05:19His very presence exuded hatred and destruction.
05:23The transition drew heaven.
05:26The instant I stepped onto the stairway, the scene changed.
05:29I was transported into a vast, lush field, with perfectly trimmed vibrant grass.
05:35The atmosphere was pure and alive.
05:38In this heavenly paradise, I encountered Yeshua Jesus.
05:41The sight of his glorified hands and feet, marked with the wounds from the crucifixion, filled
05:47me with awe I looked up at my Savior.
05:50Profoundly aware of my unworthiness as I exclaimed, Lord, I am not worthy, I am a sinner.
05:56In that sacred moment, Yeshua responded with love and compassion.
06:00He quoted scripture that pierced my heart.
06:02I came to seek and to save the lost Luke, 1910.
06:07His purpose shone brightly in my mind, to redeem those who, were spiritually lost, and to offer
06:12them hope.
06:14He further reassured me, with another promise from scripture, believe in God, believe also
06:19in me.
06:20In my father's house are many mansions I recalled, John 14, 1 Chai 3.
06:26In that instant I felt a profound hope, a comforting assurance, that there was indeed a place prepared
06:31for all who believe.
06:33Yeshua then urged me.
06:35You go and tell the living, Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in my work.
06:40Knowing that your labor is not in vain in me, the words echoed powerfully in my spirit,
06:45reminding me of the eternal significance of our efforts in service to God.
06:51Aligned with the teaching of 1 Corinthians 15, 58.
06:56As Yeshua concluded his message, he departed.
07:00Shortly thereafter, the two angels, who, had previously guided me out of the darkness, arrived,
07:05to escort me, through the resplendent streets of gold.
07:09My heart swelled as I stood in awe, between the tree of life, and the river of life.
07:15As outlined in Revelation 22, 1 I sit to, 1 angel, reveal the river of the water of life,
07:23crystal clear, flowing majestically, from the throne of God.
07:27The tree of life towered on either side, its branches heavy with fruits pure round, representing
07:33divine abundance and healing for all who partake, living glory.
07:38The tree of life bore fruit in abundance, representing eternal healing and provision.
07:43I longed to taste its fruit, but the angel said gently, The king has said, Your time is
07:49not yet.
07:51Overwhelmed by the beauty before me, I reached out, wanting to touch the water that sparkled
07:56with purity.
07:57The two angels, escorting me in paradise, told me to put my hand into the river.
08:03I put my hand into the body of water, and in that moment the water moved both downward
08:07and upward.
08:09Cascading back to the throne of God, the serenity surrounding me, was beyond words.
08:14Enveloping my spirit in an embrace of peace, as I gazed at the tree of life, a deep desire
08:19welled up within me, to taste its fruit, to experience the full richness of God's creation.
08:25Yet, the angels gently reminded me, The king has said, Your time is not yet.
08:31Their words carried both a weight of authority and a tenderness that underscored the significance
08:37of my journey.
08:39In that sacred moment of divine revelation, I turned to look at my own body.
08:43A faint silhouette in the background, feeling the contrast between the heavenly glory surrounding
08:49me, and the earthly vessel, I would soon return to.
08:52The angels, with their serene and compelling presence, urged me that it was time to depart
08:57from this exquisite vision.
08:59A gentle but firm insistence came upon me, and although I felt a surge of resistance, a
09:04force compelled me to comply.
09:06As I closed my eyes, I sensed a powerful hand pushing me gently, guiding me back through the
09:12veil of existence, a faint silhouette.
09:16The angels told me it was time to return.
09:18I resisted overwhelmed by the glory of heaven, but a gentle yet firm force pushed me back.
09:25I opened my eyes, and found myself in my room, the clock read 3.45am.
09:32I realized, that I had left my body at 12.30am, over 3 hours, I had been shown the realities
09:38of both hell, and heaven.
09:41Why I share this?
09:43This testimony is not for curiosity's sake.
09:46It is a divine commission.
09:48Hell is real.
09:50Heaven is real.
09:51Eternity is real.
09:52Yeshua is calling each person to repent, to believe, and to live, steadfast in his service.
09:58Down there in that place of torment, my soul was far more sensitive than it had ever been
10:04on earth, twice as aware, twice as responsive.
10:07I know with certainty, that for those who choose to believe, there is a glorious home, awaiting
10:13them, a reality filled with love, healing, and the fulfillment of God's perfect plan.
10:19This vision continues to inspire my journey.
10:22Urging me to reflect heaven's light amid the shadows of the world.
10:26In sharing my story, I hope to ignite a spark of curiosity and faith in others, leading
10:32them to seek a personal relationship with the Savior, may we all be illuminated by divine
10:37truth, and compelled to walk the path of righteousness, knowing that our time here on earth is fleeting,
10:45and the joys of heaven await those who steadfastly pursue faith in Yeshua.
10:50I have a message to some Christian denominations, who in their theological perspectives question
10:58the existence of a literal hell, pre-Tabit, in ways that differ from traditional beliefs.
11:04For instance, universalism.
11:07Some universalist Christian groups teach that all souls will eventually be reconciled with
11:12God, denying the concept of eternal punishment in hell.
11:16The Unitarian Universalist Association, though not strictly Christian, includes individuals
11:22who hold universalist views.
11:25Jehovah's Witnesses
11:26While Jehovah's Witnesses believe in the existence of a place of judgment, they do not
11:33teach the traditional concept of hell as eternal torment.
11:37They interpret hell as a state of unconsciousness in death similar to the grave.
11:42Seventh Day
11:43Adventists
11:44Adventists reject the idea of eternal hellfire.
11:48They teach the concept of annihilationism, where those who are ultimately judged by God
11:53simply cease to exist, rather than suffering forever.
11:57Christian Science
11:58Christian Science denies the existence of hell as a physical place.
12:03Instead, it views hell, metaphorically, as states of suffering or separation from God.
12:09Some liberal Christian theologies, certain progressive or liberal Christians, might view hell symbolically,
12:17as the condition of being separated from God's love rather than a literal place.
12:23A Message to Christian Denominations on the Concept of Hell
12:28Dear Friends in Yeshua, Having shared my profound testimony of an encounter with eternal realities,
12:36on January 15, 1989, I feel compelled to reach out to various Christian denominations,
12:43whose theological perspectives question the existence of a literal hell, or seek to reinterpret it in ways that diverge from traditional beliefs.
12:53My experience was one of genuine transformation, I died and witnessed the stark contrasts of the afterlife indeed.
13:01Heaven and hell are real.
13:03To universalist groups, your teaching emphasizes that all souls will eventually be reconciled with God,
13:11denying the existence of eternal punishment in hell,
13:14while this perspective reflects a deep hope in God's love and mercy.
13:18It raises questions about accountability and the teachings of scripture regarding sin and judgment.
13:26My experiences during my journey to hell showed me the profound importance of our choices in this life,
13:33and the realities that await us in the afterlife.
13:37I encountered both the beauty of heaven and the despair of hell,
13:41reinforcing the seriousness of our earthly decisions.
13:44To Jehovah's Witnesses, I acknowledge your belief in a place of judgment,
13:49yet your interpretation of hell as a state of unconsciousness deviates from traditional Christian understandings of eternal consequences.
14:00While this belief alleviates the fear of eternal torment,
14:04it is essential to engage with the full counsel of scripture,
14:07which speaks to the gravity of judgment and the choices we make while alive.
14:12My encounters left me acutely aware of the need to actively live,
14:16in accordance with God's will,
14:18and to strive for communion with him throughout our lives.
14:22What you do on earth echoes throughout eternity.
14:26To Seventh Day, Adventists
14:28Your concept of annihilationism proposes that those judged by God simply cease to exist.
14:34Rather than experiencing eternal suffering,
14:37this belief, while comforting,
14:39invites reflection on the nature of God's justice and the permanence of our choices.
14:44From my encounter,
14:47I learned that God's justice also reflects his desire for repentance and transformation in our lives.
14:53My experiences, in both heaven and hell,
14:56articulated the crucial role that divine judgment plays in emphasizing the significance of our relationship with God,
15:04and the ramifications of our actions in this world.
15:07There is trolley life after death.
15:09To Christian scientists,
15:12your interpretation of hell as a metaphorical state of suffering or separation from God,
15:18encourages profound spiritual exploration and personal growth.
15:22However, I urge you to consider the balance between metaphor and the literal truths found in scripture.
15:29My visitation emphasized the reality of choices leading to eternal consequences,
15:35affirming the reality of hell as a genuine and terrifying existence,
15:40underscoring the role of accountability in our faith.
15:44Journey,
15:44Hell is not a theory when I heard screams and cries in that emergency darkness with no light.
15:50I said,
15:51Hell is not a theory or metaphorical state of suffering.
15:55To liberal Christian theologies,
15:58I recognize that many progressive believers view hell symbolically.
16:02A.
16:02A condition of separation from God's love rather than a literal place.
16:07This metaphorical perspective highlights the
16:10anguish of spiritual estrangement.
16:12Yet it's equally vital to acknowledge the seriousness
16:15of the warnings in scripture
16:17regarding the consequences of rejecting God's love and commandments.
16:21My own experience revealed that
16:23this separation can indeed lead to profound spiritual darkness,
16:28emphasizing the importance of living in accordance with God.
16:31As to sein hell is not a symbol.
16:34This message is intended to foster thoughtful dialogue and reflection among us,
16:39rather than to criticize.
16:41Each perspective embodies a sincere search for truth and understanding of God's nature.
16:47However,
16:48my life-altering experience serves as a testament to the reality of heaven and hell.
16:54They are not merely concepts,
16:55but genuine realms that reflect the ultimate outcomes of our choices.
17:00May this testimony of my encounter
17:02encourage all of us to pursue a deeper relationship with God,
17:07answered in truth and grace.
17:09And as we navigate these significant theological discussions,
17:13let us remain committed to understanding the weight of our choices and their eternal implications.
17:19In love and faith, I encourage you to continue seeking truth,
17:24growing in your understanding of God's word,
17:26and sharing the message of salvation through Yeshua, Jesus Christ.
17:30Hear the call today.
17:32Do not harden your heart, for today is the day of salvation.
17:36The appointed time is now.

17:40and after death comes judgment.

18:27The cross represents the ultimate sacrifice,
18:30where Yeshua took upon Himself the penalty for our sins.
18:34Through His shed blood, we can be cleansed and made righteous in God's sight.
