South Park’s Got a Nut goes full political chaos, torching Kristi Noem, JD Vance, Trump, and Charlie Kirk. Eric Cartman and Mr. Mackey follow wildly different paths — one chasing clout, the other a paycheck — that collide in the surreal circus of Mar-a-Lago.

Cartman’s outrage? Clyde Donovan — the class nobody remembers — has gone viral as a Charlie Kirk–style “debate” podcaster, racking up views with outrage-bait hot takes. Furious his schtick was stolen, Cartman launches his own “master-debater” show, bad haircut and all — a parody Kirk himself admitted was spot-on.
Meanwhile, Mackey loses his school counselor job and joins ICE under a trigger-happy, Botox-frozen Noem. Raiding Dora the Explorer concerts and even heaven, her mantra is: “If it’s brown, it goes down.” The dark gag riffs on Noem’s real-life scandal over shooting her dog — escalated here to off-screen puppy gunfire in the credits.

Both Mackey and Clyde score invites to a Fantasy Island–style Mar-a-Lago, with Trump as Mr. Roarke and Vance as his pint-sized lapdog. After dodging a Homeland Security promotion — and a Trump-Satan threesome — Mackey finds Clyde and admits no “nut” is worth selling your soul. Savage, absurd, and classic South Park.

00:00South Park just dropped the second episode of its most savage season yet,
00:04torching Kristi Noem, J.D. Vance, and even Charlie Kirk.
00:07Here's a spoiler-filled recap of what you missed and the real-life chaos that inspired it.
00:12In the latest episode of South Park, titled Got a Nut,
00:15the show follows Eric Cartman and Mr. Mackey through two parallel storylines
00:20that eventually collide in classic South Park fashion.
00:23First, we see Eric Cartman, South Park's resident bigot and full-time chaos agent,
00:27who is furious that Clyde Donovan is stealing his thunder.
00:31Yes, Clyde, arguably the most forgettable fourth grader in the series,
00:35has suddenly become a viral right-wing debate podcaster,
00:38channeling major Charlie Kirk energy.
00:40What is a woman?
00:41That's a stupid question, dude. That's a dumb question.
00:45What is a woman? It's not a trick question.
00:47In Clyde's content, offensive hot takes about pro-life choices,
00:51women, and anyone else who might take the bait.
00:54All packaged as, quote, woke student totally pwned clips engineered for outrage clicks.
00:59But unlike the rest of the class, Cartman isn't offended by Clyde's views.
01:04No, Eric's offended because that was supposed to be his stick.
01:07And Clyde's reasoning for becoming a podcaster, as he explained to Mr. Mackey,
01:12was he was just trying to make his nut,
01:14a running gag throughout the episode referring to what people do to cover their expenses.
01:18Filling up stage, Cartman launches his own podcast in retaliation,
01:22complete with a hilariously bad Charlie Kirk-style haircut
01:25and a new identity as a self-proclaimed, quote, master debater.
01:30Real-life Charlie Kirk took to YouTube to react to the show's portrayal of him
01:34and, surprisingly, had a pretty good sense of humor about it.
01:37What's on your mind? I gotta be honest. That clip was hilarious.
01:41Both Kirk and his podcast guest even acknowledged how accurate the parody was,
01:45right down to the water bottle.
01:47Comedy Central, South Park, you crushed the water.
01:50In the show, both Cartman and Mackey's arcs, one chasing clout, the other a paycheck,
01:54ultimately converge at the surreal, corrupt spectacle of Mar-a-Lago.
01:59But before we get to that, you need to know Mr. Mackey loses his job as a school's counselor,
02:04a real reference to real-life federal rollback during the current Trump administration,
02:08including cuts to the Department of Education.
02:11Desperate to replace his income, Mackey takes a hard pivot,
02:14joining ICE under the leadership of cartoonishly exaggerated Secretary of Homeland Security,
02:20Christy Noem.
02:21Mr. Mackey joins a gang of poorly trained masked ICE agents,
02:24all under one directive from Noem.
02:26Quote, if it's brown, it goes down.
02:29It's intentionally over the top, but the satire is grounded in real-life headlines.
02:33On July 29th, the Department of Homeland Security launched a campaign called Defend the Homeland,
02:39aimed at aggressively recruiting ICE agents to, quote,
02:42remove the worst of the worst from the U.S.
02:45South Park clearly runs with this, exaggerating it into scenes of ICE literally abducting innocent children
02:50from a Dora the Explorer concert and detaining angels in the clouds.
02:55And when it comes to Christy Noem's character, South Park doesn't hold back there either.
02:59Noem is portrayed as a trigger-happy ICE boss with a melting face,
03:03a not-so-subtle jab at public speculation over her real-life Botox-filled appearance.
03:09In the episode, Noem spends most of her screen time gunning down puppies, seemingly for sport.
03:15It's brutal, cartoonish, and unfortunately, not entirely fictional.
03:19Last year in her own memoir, Noem admitted to shooting her 14-month-old family dog, Cricket,
03:24for being, quote, untrainable.
03:26The revelation sparked nationwide backlash, with critics calling it cruel and heartless.
03:31South Park cranks that scandal up, even portraying Noem walking into a Pets Galore,
03:36only to hear gunshots and crying puppies in the end credits.
03:40Noem, unlike Kirk, has stayed silent for now.
03:43Meanwhile, the show shifts its focus to Vice President J.D. Vance,
03:46who's reimagined as Trump's pint-sized sidekick in a bizarre version at Mar-a-Lago.
03:52During the 30-minute episode, Clyde and Mackie are rewarded for their loyalty.
03:56Clyde for his viral podcast, Mackie for his ice work,
03:59with a golden ticket to Trump's inner circle at Mar-a-Lago.
04:03South Park reimagined President Trump's Florida resort as a gaudy, over-the-top version of the 70s wish-fulfillment series,
04:10Fantasy Island, where guests could fulfill their wildest desires.
04:14In the twisted world, South Park casts Trump as Fantasy Island's Mr. Roker,
04:18while Vance is portrayed as Fantasy Island's character tattoo,
04:22Mr. Roker's loyal and subservient assistant.
04:24He's drawn with an exaggeratedly large, bloated head,
04:28and nod to both Trump's portrayal on the show and the meme-ified AI portraits that have circulated online.
04:34The visuals of Trump literally kicking around a dwarf-sized Vance perfectly captures how he's portrayed as a lapdog,
04:40constantly belittled, mocked, and reduced to the role of a hype man rather than a power player.
04:46Despite the harsh satire, Vance has seemed to take it in stride.
04:49After the episode aired, the Vice President reacted on X, stating,
04:53Well, I finally made it.
04:55Because in 2025, getting roasted on South Park apparently means you're someone special.
05:01As for Cartman, he ends the episode being dragged out of the Charlie Kirk Award for Gang Master Debaters,
05:07screaming, quote,
05:08You stole my shtick, as Clyde wins the trophy.
05:11And as for Mr. Mackey, he's still trapped at Mar-a-Lago.
05:14After he's offered a promotion as the new Secretary of Homeland Security,
05:19right before Trump tries to seduce him into bed, where you can see Satan laying.
05:24Freaked out, Mackey runs through a hall, opening different doors,
05:27revealing scenes such as men getting massages from young spa workers,
05:31and even Dora the Explorer herself.
05:34Eventually, he finds Clyde in a game room and has a quiet heart-to-heart,
05:37much like the one at the start of the episode.
05:39Only this time, Mackey admits chasing a paycheck or a nut isn't worth sacrificing your values.
05:47But what's your take?
