00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you on this Wednesday morning, which is rather
00:05chilly. We're seeing a touch of frost across central northern areas of Scotland. The cloud
00:10will break through the day though. High pressure firmly in charge through the next few days.
00:14The weather remains dry, cooler along this east coast, but as the wind changes direction
00:20Thursday and into Friday, temperatures along this eastern strip will slowly recover as
00:25well. In fact, through Thursday into Friday, we'll see temperatures reaching the high
00:29teens, if not the low 20s. Now, this morning, as I said, it's rather cool outside. One
00:34or two mist and fog patches. Notice one or two lighter showers along this eastern strip
00:39here, clipping Norfolk, Suffolk, even Kent. Elsewhere, a mix of cloud and some brighter
00:44skies coming through, certainly some sunshine central and northern areas of Scotland. But
00:49we do run into some showers across Shetland. Now, watch out for a cold start across the
00:54glens of Scotland. Here, temperatures have dipped close to freezing, if not below
00:58through the first part of this morning. So, through today, we're chasing clouds a little
01:03bit through the morning, stuck under that cell of high pressure. But the cloud will break.
01:08At the same time, one or two showers can't be ruled out across more eastern and southeastern
01:13parts of England. But they'll be very light and scattered, most places remaining dry.
01:18Through the afternoon, some lovely sunshine coming through. We even lose most of the showers
01:21across Shetland. So, a fine day. Temperatures higher than yesterday, coming in around 16,
01:2617 towards the northwest, 17 to 19 across central and southern areas. Along this eastern side,
01:32though, 13, 14. And feeling probably a bit cooler than that. Add on the strength of the
01:37wind, which will be a bit brisk in places. It's going to feel rather cool. Now, through this
01:41evening and overnight, that cloud returns and drifts from the east towards more western areas of England
01:47and Wales. And again, one or two drizzly showers. We can't rule it out. A drizzly shower across
01:52Shetland as well. Clearer skies across Northern Ireland as well as Scotland. And again, a chilly
01:57start to the day. Through Thursday, then, this cloud could be a bit stubborn in places. Again,
02:02one or two light showers here. Most places dry. 17 to 19 degrees Celsius will be your high. Temperatures
02:08recovering along this eastern side and more so on Friday. So, Friday dawns with some sunshine, a mix of
02:15clouds, possibly northern England, southern Scotland, Northern Ireland. But it will break,
02:19allowing for some blue sky and sunshine. It's a fine day mostly across most parts of the country.
02:25And temperatures are on this eastern side recovering to 17, 18 degrees Celsius. 20 across
02:30southern parts of England and Wales. And that pretty much sets the scene for Saturday as well.
02:34I'll see you later.
