President Trump Asked Point Blank If He Is Giving Netanyahu A Green Light To Occupy Gaza

At a press event on Wednesday, President Trump was asked about reports that Israel plans to occupy Gaza.

00:02Thank you, Mr. President. You said many times that you want to stop wars in the Middle East.

00:08Now, Prime Minister Netanyahu is contemplating reoccupying Gaza entirely.

00:12Does he define you, sir, or are you giving him a green light?

00:15Well, we have stopped wars in the Middle East by stopping Iran from having a nuclear weapon.

00:20And they are, you know, they can say they're going to start all over again,

00:25but that's a very dangerous thing for them to do because we'll be back as soon as they start.

00:30We'll be back. And I think they understand that. They're just words.

00:34But no, we've stopped a lot of wars in the Middle East.

00:38If you think about what we did with Iran, Iran was the perpetrator of hate, a very evil place.

00:45And I think it's going to be a lot different in the coming years.
